Hotel I will not revisit
Reviewed By Explore68373975430The only hotel in the world in which I stayed and had to pay more for my 9y old daughter and myself than I would pay for two adults. After getting an answer to my question how comes: because it is like that all other rates got irrelevant. They so easily became destination I’ll not revisit.

This is a scam! For sure not a 5-star hotel
Reviewed By Abdullateef AThis is not a 5-star hotel. It is a huge scam. Although the rooms are clean and recently refurbished, yet the service is horrible. They helped us unload our bags from the car then just left them next to the elevator and told us to take it upstairs to our rooms ourselves!!! They also asked us to park the car ourselves. When I called the reception to ask for an adapter, I was told to call in the morning for someone who can speak English. We expected a 5-star service especially for the price we are paying but it was far from it...such a disappointment

Reviewed By charlotte70somersetWhat a fabulous family friendly hotel in the most stunning location looking out towards the lake. We had a wonderful week skiing from this hotel. It was such a pleasure to come back each day to afternoon tea, in the garden enjoying the views while the kids played on the fun sledging slope. Our 5 course dinner every night was just delicious.The children always enjoyed their meals. It was the most relaxing hotel, and we loved the pool and spa enjoying the views. The plunge pool water fall was really special. We highly recommend the 5 km sledge trip with the manager at the end of the week. We were taken up by tractor taxi and then had the most magical experience wizzing down-what fun! Thank you. We had access from here to such a great range of runs-on all levels. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly-Thank you,

Reviewed By 59895JanaOur stay was for 4 days, we were fully satisfied with all the service - room was large, very clean and nice. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. Hotel is near the lake, so there is a beautiful view, ski area is near by, large and nice too. The parking at the ski area is free. The food was very tasty, large variability (only in the morning a little bit more vegetables would not be bad, on the other hand, there was enough fresh fruits, juices and other kind of food.) You choose from the menu for the dinner, the offer includes the typical Austrian meals, which we happily tried and were very tasty! We are looking forward coming here again, thanks all the people there!

Reviewed By traveller1ViennaThe feriendorf is situated directly on the lake and the whole area is very idyllic. The apartment buildings blend in with the scenery and the suites are spacious and well planned with small kitchenette and fridge. It is an ideal place for families with children and dogs. There are various programmes offered to children of all ages and also some for adults including nordic walking and cycling. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. The food and drink was in buffet form which was varied and very good. Unfortunately there are some negative points which I would like to point out. On arrival the reception was chaotic. With our all inclusive arrangement check in was at 16:00 when all inclusive began. There were queues of children and adults shoving and pushing to get their bands, others trying to check in and reserve table sittings which was supposedly at 18:00 or 19:30. This turned out to be practically non-existent as it wasn’t controlled so people just came and went when they pleased. After the first evening we wondered what we had let ourselves in for. The following day things had calmed down, also in the restaurant, but I should point out that this is the only place you can get food and drinks with AI. What is lacking is a small kiosk near the lake for people to be able to get drinks and certainly more sun lounges. Most were reserved very early in the morning as some families and groups took one for each person even though the children weren’t often present. We enjoyed our stay there but I wouldn’t recommend it to younger or older couples holidaying alone.

Reviewed By 644emiliabI booked a 2 night stay at this hotel as a surprise for my husband's birthday. We booked a Family room with 2 separate rooms and 2 king beds. When we arrived we received the room key and we observed that instead the family room we have an apartment on 2 levels and instead of the two king beds there were a king bed and a bunk bed. We have a 6 year old child, there would have been no way she could sleep on the ground floor all by herself. We tried to reason with the owner and to explain we reserved a different room but he was rather annoyed saying that we got an upgrade and the room we got now is better (who decides that? If I booked a kind of room you give me that room, not make changes on your own without even making a courtesy call to ask me if I agree). Ultimately we had to call booking and explain the situation and we could cancel cost free. We got into our car and returned home. I have never, in my life, experienced this kind of behavior from a property owner. As a hotel manager you should be attentive to the guest's wishes, not decide for them and then be really surprised they don't agree with your opinion.
