Reviewed By I1810LSinfoHad a lovely stay here with myself. My husband and my dad We stayed in the beachfront bungalows which were lovely. It was quiet as Covid is still having an impact on Thailand tourism but still enough open to enjoy ourselves. The swimming pool was beautiful and always kept immaculate and cleaned every day. The staff, especially Sunad & Kaffree We’re really kind and caring. Making sure we we all ok. All the staff members we so friendly and always asking how we are. The breakfast was lovely. Something for everyone. Hired our bikes with Alex at the front of the resort. He is very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay. The staff made us feel so welcome. The cleaners were really friendly and our bungalow super spotless. Food was really lovely. Great selection. We loved their shakes, especially the coconut shakes. Nothing to complain about. They are all hard working lovely people. Looking forward to going back again Thank you all.

Reviewed By sawasdeed2015I came with my familly on the 23 of October. They let us check in earlier and check out later! The situation for them is very hard due to Covid 19. 6 rooms occupation on 70 and they keep smiling ? We which them all the best and for sure we come again.

Groovy Bungalows in Krabi Ao Nang was built in 2006 and is a top modern hotel. We welcome special guests, who like good service from friendly staff and also like to stay close to the nature. We offer freedom with a motorbike, which is included in the bungalow rate.

Reviewed By alisonWalsallLovely bungalows, very quiet. Positives are fantastic aircon, rooms cleaned daily, towels changed alt days. Breakfast was self service but G cooks eggs and pancakes of requested. Choice of ceral, fruit toast juices etc a good choice for us. Pool was small but big enough for 6 bungalows. G and sow were fantastic nothing too much trouble. TV has no English channels and tea coffee making in room only availible on request. Beds very confortible. Great location just short hop to Ao nang which is very touristy and you can get trips from here. Lovely restraunt Bridys down the road from the bungalows would highly revommend lovely food great prices. Would def come back here. Only issue for those with mobility issues maybe the bit of a hill/ walk from the main road to the bungalows.

Reviewed By jaynewcastle11wow, 3 years since I last stayed here. Had a whole week on Phi Phi this time, the hotel was very quiet & had the pool to myself everyday. I've suggested trimming some of the trees around the pool, as it is in shade a lot of the day Huge room with huge terrace outside too, with good A/C & wifi, & a huge comfy bed. Every visit, I always check what other hotels are available in Tonsai, price-wise for what you get, this place is hard to beat in my opinion

My Jung and his team did everything possible to make my stay a memorable one, from the simple, but clean beach hut, to the outstanding restaurant. There were no mosquitoes this time. A perfect place for a quaint stay.

Dirty and dangerous
Reviewed By Danpik2000There was rubbish all over the place and a rotten tree feel metres from the swimming pool. The owner was also using the pool to run a local day care so it was also full of children who were not staying at the hotel. There was plastic floating in the pool and the water was a funny colour. We decided not to stay for safety and the owner offered an apology and refund but I did not get any money back. Very very poor.

Self contained apartment rooms, with scenic views over the Andaman Sea and it's islands. Situated on a hillside just above Pra-Ae village and beach. Only 5 minutes walk to the beach. Enjoy a pleasant breeze while watching the sunset.
A tranquil retreat
Reviewed By ian cWe have been to Ko Lanta four times, staying at five different places. We've stayed directly on the beachfront, along the main road near the beach, and finally here at Freedom Estate. We returned again to Freedom Estate after our initial visit, and then extended our stay there because it was so lovely and peaceful. It's as everyone else has has already said...spacious, spotlessly clean, well appointed, great wifi, beautiful large veranda to enjoy early morning bird song and gorgeous sunsets, everything you need. The one and only drawback for some would be the climb up the hill. It was a little strenuous but we got used to it. It's about a five minute walk to the main road, another few to the most wonderful beach, and well worth it. We plan to return for an extended stay next time.

Reviewed By thomasgV5749ELWe have spent a lot of times at Koh Jum Lodge. It is very difficult to go to another place after have been there. Bungalows are very spacious and comfortable. All of them very close to the beach. The staff and owner know exact how to spoil their guests. The environment is fanstastic and Koh Jum is still an undisturbed island. Food is excellent. And the music in the restaurant and bar is fanstastic. It is the small details that make you feel luxurious. Leaving Koh Jum Lodge never easy. Thomas Gustafsson

Reviewed By STEWY88This is the sort of place that makes you feel ( after a day out on the beach) like coming back and cooling off and relaxing with a cocktail ( happy hour 5pm - 7pm) Everything you’d want is here - quality accommodation - strong WIFI- pleasant gardens — beach - good start to the day with a tasty breakfast - and above all the STAFF ( including owners) who go the extra mile Massages are good value ( try one ) and if you want to explore the local area a scooter is instantly on hand for hire There are no nasty surprises ( fines for scratches you didn’t do ) but if you’re caught on the top road without a helmet it’s 400 Baht per person fine ( be warned ) Stayed a week here and could easily have stayed longer They’re getting it right Can it be improved?— well a small pool would be nice but now I’m nitpicking unfairly Don’t hesitate to book

Reviewed By AndyKenilworthUKVery popular for families so it was very busy and there was plenty of activity around the pool. We were there for 4 nights to relax and were in an apartment towards the back of the (quite short) plot. It was ideal big clean room, 150m away from pool, bar and restaurant. Location overall was good and tourist adviser opposite front entrance was great for booking things. We hired mopeds one day from her and also an excellent cooking class at Sukho Cuisine Thai Cooking School. The fish restaurant L. Maladee is just a short walk up the road and is outstanding. The beech front is beautiful and great for morning and evening walks to bars and restaurants. We wouldn't recommend evening dinning at the hotel, its a bit souless and basic food. Breakfast was average and busy. Its not a luxury place to stay but it has a lot going for it.
