Family motel held for over 30 years. We have a quiet costumer base, open 24 hours / 7 days, with special prices for workers (about a week). We offer free internet, multi-lingual staff (Spanish evening), 3 stars. We are close to all shopping center, cinema, theater, downtown, golf, fishing, close to the river, parks, museums and many restaurants. We have beautiful family suites accompanied by a large grassy area, to the delight of our sports teams with picnic tables accessible and relaxing small stretches. Good breakfast continental free.
Great value, great space
Reviewed By Tara HLoved the space of the comfort family room. 2 double beds in a separate room with a living room area (couch, chair, TV, desk) gave us lots of room to spread out and have our own space. Free parking in front of your door makes getting in and out with luggage easy. The staff were very friendly. Great location with restaurants and shops within walking distance. The room was quiet and neat and tidy. Two sinks and mirrors made getting ready in the morning much quicker and easier. The only downside we had was that one of the beds had a mattress that sagged in the middle making for not as good a sleep as we would have liked. We would stay here again if we are ever in Trois Rivieres again.

Reviewed By mom0992We were going to stay in a more upscale hotel in Trois Riviere, but so glad we didn't. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. We loved the faux fireplace that added some ambiance to the chilly evening. Other reviews mentioned the owners don't speak English. Although the wife doesn't, she grabbed her husband who had enough English to recommend a nice restaurant for dinner. We had fun exploring the neighborhood directly behind the motel, which consists of farm houses and fields. The river across the street can be accessed if you don't mind walking between the homes that front the river. With morning continental breakfast included, Motel Canadien is a great deal.

Reviewed By Jessica CWe comfortable room. Freshly renovated to modern day style. Very peaceful. We had room 27 which included a nice tv (not many channels and did not accept chromecast). Very happy with the instructions at reception. But I was not very happy on providing a piece of ID for both of us (something I sometimes forget, just so he can write both of our names down)...

TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT
Reviewed By carolmH8508UCI made a reservation with a lady, she said everything was ok, I wanted to give her my credit card information she said it wasn’t necessary she said the same for a confirmation number, she said our room was booked for the Saturday & Sunday. I mentioned we would be arriving late, she said ok. My husband phoned 2 times to let them know what times we would be checking in once saying 11pm and another 10pm. Both phone calls went to voice mail, both times he left his cell number for a return call and no call was returned. Around 10pm we headed to the motel only to find out that they had rented out our room. My husband even showed them from his phone that he called them but they didn’t care the basically called him a liar, saying they were there all evening. They were not helpful in giving us a room even though the vacancy sign was lit. We were unable to rent another Motel as there was a baseball game in the City that weekend. We had to head back to our friends and put them out of their beds, sleeping on the floor. We will never recommend this Motel to anyone.

Reviewed By Josée T1- même si réservation tu te fais dire tout louer, par Booking.com et expédia ainsi qu'un autre site, après arguments il te montre une chambre qui sens cigarette a plein nez que sa donne mal à gorge et après 15 min de parler il te montre 2autre chambres plus cher 2- il te montre une chambre minuscule coller sur la réception il y a une porte qui mène à la réception non barrer 3- tu arrive les portes des chambres non louer ne sont pas barrer 4-porte est restée ouverte après que l'employé est essayer la clé et que nous sommes parti manger revenu après 45 min 5-porte de chambre difficile à barrer de l'intérieur pris 5 min à barrer pas essayer de l'extérieur 6-pas de détecteur de fumée 7- très écho on entend l'employé accueillir les clients et il les accueille tous de la meme façon 8- micro onde désuet très petit et tu tourne une roulette pour faire fonctionner 9-vieille télévision pas de manette pas de câble donc aucune chaîne pour écouter 10- salle de bain: poignée pour l'eau de la douche est sur le micro-onde Seulement 1 débarbouillette et petite serviette à main dépareillé pour 2 personne Mur de la douche sont sale et peinture s'écaille insecte dans le bain et sur le comptoir 11- drap contour le coin ne reste pas en place, oreiller très mince Suis repartie de la en réaction allergique du à la senteur de cigarette et du lit Résultat je ne recommanderais pas ce motel
