The room I stayed in was nice and clean and Mano's food was extremely delicious! Very large garden and felt like home. so much peace. We hope to come back again! Tip- *Very Very Close to the city (Few minutes walk around the lake) and *Order food from their A la Carte menu.

The rooms were beautiful (especially with the paintings done by the owners!), super clean and with a great view. The food was delicious and homemade. I highly recommend that place!

Breakfast was nice. Family who own it are lovely and I have no negatives for it. Perfect place to stay near the airport.

We had dinner on the first night, which was delicious and very well presented and prepared. The bungalow is very convenient for the town, a pleasant 10 minute stroll down a gradual hill. Highly recommend this lovely place to stay in Nuwara Eliya.

The property is about a 10 minute walk from town where you’ll find several restaurants and a large supermarket.

Reviewed By David GA guest house with communal lounge / dining room. There are no eating options close by so you need to take breakfast and dinner at the guest house. Breakfast and dinner were good. It is close to the National Park office where you can book boat safaris, which are good value if you are a group of four or five. You can walk from the office to where the boat leaves from – 700m down the road, take the path on the right, where the road turns to the left, leading up to the top of the dam and the boats leave from the other side of the dam. The owner and his family are friendly and helpful but he did try it on. (1) Saying that his boat safari price included transport to and from the boat but when we got to the boat he said we would have to walk back as his vehicle would not be available. As we did not have the right footwear we insisted that transport be provided and he sent a tuk tuk. (2) Tea, like everywhere else in Sri Lanka, is served in small cups and like everywhere else we requested more tea, however unlike everywhere else he put a charge on the final bill. Not a real issue but he could have told us that there was a charge for the extra tea. (3) He added 10% ‘government tax’ to the final bill, which we did not get charged anywhere else. When we challenged this he removed the ‘tax’.
