Reviewed By francines155The room was a bit small but clean and comfortable. The staff is helpful and polite. The indoor pool and spa are great, although located in a separate building. ( We asked for a nearby room which they accomodated.) The outside seating area is well equipped with a great view. A good value!

Reviewed By veronicahR6947IZlast minute booking as no other place available, paid $246 to sleep in a very hot room, no a/c, rotating fan placed on counter at bedside, travelling with a friend and if we stood finger tip to finger tip we could touch the opposite walls, the room was soooooo small, when opening the bathroom door it was only inches away from the edge of the bed, room was crammed with a table and 2 chairs and I'm not sure why as there was no room to pull out the chairs to sit, I think the tv was bigger than the bed, the bathroom had holes in the walls, no bathtub and the shower head was about 4 inches from the curtain with about 3 feet on the other side????? don't let the looks of the exterior fool you, I would never stay here again and not recommend to anyone, the only good thing about this place was it's proximity to the ferry

Not what i enjoy paying for
Reviewed By NateRiveSudSpent 2 nights got screwed over on hotwire.Hotwire gives you the details of the hotel without the name,have gotten some good deals in the past but this almost seems fradulant.So the the hotel was described as 3 star having pool gym business center massage spa free parking at decent price so i jumped on it.Only positive room was clean ill start with that.So when i buy im told its a motel hotel wtf?I book a weekend getaway with my boy i get a motel..ok ill try to make the best of it.Room was tiny..so was the bed.I book a roo. for 2 they give me a double bed...who the F sleeps 2 in a double bed.Im 6f3 215 so i slept like crap for 2 nights.The pool...a little indoor pool over crowed and cloudy i dint want to step foot in it.The parking a narrow busy mess.The walls made of paper could hear neighbours partying,dint care i mind my business but thank god i had air conditioning on or would not have slept until very late.Oh yeah to top it off on night 2 once my son asleep i step outside at 9pm and spark a J(legal here),i enjoy a toke before bed i dont drink or smoke cigarettes.At 11pm i get a knock on door(could have called maybe?)receptionist with a rude look is asking me if im smoking inside they got complaints.Ok so i step outside to smoke hours before and some snob thinks it stinks in 2021, too bad call the cops to be laughed at Karen.Im 40 yr old and a father of a 5 yr old,never would i smoke in a room or my own place with my son present.Neway thought it was very rude to knock at that time could at least call.. good thing they dint wake my son or i would not have been as polite in my boxers at 11pm.Neway gave it 2 out of 5 being very generous.Maybe for a motel room was clean and seemed renovated compared to outside,but for the price i paid me and son both disapointed.I dint sleep well 2 in such a small bed...thought queen size was a minimum i learned my lesson no motels ever again.

Not Worth the Price
Reviewed By KuroSunflowerHonestly for the price you pay and the quality of service they provide. It is terrible. My 2 night experience at this location was pretty bad. Firstly the customer service is terrible, the lady can not handle problems and threatened to call the police simply due to the fact we were complaining on why the room was not cleaned. She told us" Its not my problem they didn't clean your room." " You guys made the mess in your room", " I can't help you." AND she proceed to slam the door shut in our faces in the middle of the conversation because( and I quote) " she is too upset". We had to call her out again, ask repeated for garbage bags so we can clean our own rooms. This location is a joke, even if the customer service improved they walls are paper thin so you can hear clearly the next door neighbors. They have 2 small bar stools and a MINI bar table. The shampoo packs are in little plastic packets that are so hard to open up without a pair of scissors. Do your self a favor and avoid this place if you can.

Reviewed By 363duanelWe stayed here for one night while traveling to Ottawa. The Hotel did appear to be following COVID-19 Protocols. The Hotel is an older building that has been renovated over the years. The room has been renovated, it could have used a little TLC, especially in the bathroom. There was an odour of smoke in the room. Had it not been because we were tired and it was late, we would have asked for another room. We did notice a large pile of cigarette butts close to the entrance of room so the smokey smell could have been coming from there. The beds were ok, though they did sag a little in the middle. Bedding was old and certainly could be updated. The bathroom could use a refresh, especially tile grout and caulking. This was an average Hotel that is suited for a one night stay.

Reviewed By cattlerepairmanThis is a classic, seaside motel reminiscent of the 1970'. Hey, it even has a telephone booth outside the main office! Rooms are small but functional and clean. Keurig machine, microwave and fridge are provided. There are zero restaurants or shops within walking distance; the closest restaurant is the very good Cafe de l'Anse about 11 km West on hwy 132. Breakfast from 8am and great seafood. What is hard to beat is stepping outside to the gorgeous views of the St. Lawrence, coffee in hand. The owners are friendly and helpful.

Good for an inexpensive stay in Saint Sauveur
Reviewed By GadgetNeilWith Saint Sauveur being a popular town for tourists, especially in ski season, this motel was very reasonably priced. I was satisfied with my stay, although you get what you pay for. The bed was comfortable, and my only complaints would be small ones. The TV in the room was very small, by today's standards (although I was there for a ski trip and TV watching wasn't a priority). The walls are pretty thin; when people were talking in the room next door I could hear a lot of it (but they have a rule about quiet after 10 pm, and I sleep with earplugs). There wasn't a lot of space to put away clothes: just a night table with 2 small drawers, and one of them had half of a potato chip in it, so I didn't put my clothes there (the chip made me feel they had not cleaned the drawers after the last occupant). However, there is a rack with hangars, which was helpful. My only other complaint is that I felt they should have salted the parking lot more often. At times, there was so much ice, that walking to your car was like walking on a skating rink. Despite my complaints, I would still recommend this motel to budget travellers. The cost is very reasonable, and there is free parking, and the location is great, walking distance from the town centre with restaurants and shops.

Toilet didn't flush and AC didn't work
Reviewed By 15mlrishDidn't realize that there was a Super 8 around the corner. Stayed at Colonial because of a funeral in Blenheim. In my son and daughter's room, the AC didn't work and the toilet didn't flush. The owner gave me a hard time when I brought this to his attention. He became aggressive and hostile with me after he shouted at the women working for him and tried to blame them. He is one peach of a human being. There are many hotels on this strip.

Reviewed By oopsie1We stayed in room 209 which was recently renovated by new owners who were very friendly. The room was bright, clean and spacious with a balcony overlooking the St. Lawrence. Close to Metro grocery store and restaurants. Great place to stay and visit this beautiful area. We visited Tadoussac and watched whales from Cap de Bon Desir, a beautiful National Park and cycled the island of Isle aux Coudres. We would definitely stay here again.
