Blue Sea hostel is located in Rincón del Mar Sucre Colombia. It´s a beachfront 3-story house with 31 rooms to accommodate 130 people. The property situated in front of around 200 m2 of white sandy beach offers large balcony areas facing the sea with hammocks and chairs for entertainment and relaxation. Estamos ubicados en Coveñas Sucre, Segunda Ensenada, Sector Punte Piedra, frente al mar. Contamos con 12 distribuidas en habitaciones dobles, cuádruplex, séxtuples. Nuestras habitaciones están equipadas de aire acondicionado, ventilador, TV LCD 24” o 32”, Baño Privado, tendidos de cama, toallas. El hotel cuenta con parqueadero privado, zona WIFI, servicio de Restaurante, kioscos frente al mar, servicio diario de camarera, implementos de aseo (papel higiénico y jabón de baño).

Reviewed By JUan PVERSIÓN ESPAÑOL. La señora Mónica (La dueña) tiene lo que llamamos "palito" para atender a la gente y tiene muy buen genio para atender. La contactamos por internet y la verdad nos fue muy bien con la estadía. Como fueron bastantes días, nos dio buen precio. Traten de negociar con ella. Es razonable. La comida es buena y también tiene cervezas, refrescos y licores y los alojamientos son para todos los gustos. Este es un hotel familiar y tiene habitaciones sencillas pero cómodas. Los hay frente al mar, o también lejos, en la parte de atrás para no tener ruido. Hay a veces un mal olor como de alcantarilla PERO NO ES DEL HOTEL, es del manglar y no se puede hacer nada, es natural, pero el olor NO entra a las habitaciones. Genial realmente. PARA EL TRANSPORTE NO hay aeropuerto, así que toca llegar a la ciudad de Montería y desde ahí tomar transporte terrestre. Hay también variadas maneras unas más costosas que otras. Recomendaría al señor Taxista don Jaime Contreras Teléfono 3215 296 530. Él va y recoge a todos en el aeropuerto sin problema. LO único es que NO HABLA INGLÉS. Cobra unos $150.000 (USD 50) por el transporte de dos (2) personas cómodamente. También se puede negociar o regatear el precio si son varias personas. Si son más de dos (2) él arregla con otros colegas transportadores y los llevan a todos cómodamente. El transporte dura una hora y media (1,5 hrs) pero vale mucho la pena. Hasta regala agua de coco para el calor durante el trayecto y es muy conversador. Hay muchas opciones de turismo que doña Mónica se encarga de recomendar y se sacan buenos planes a Islas de San Bernardo, Acuario y el Volcán de Lodo para los que gustan de tratamientos de piel al aire libre. Todo es muy acogedor y variado. NO se van a arrepentir. ENGLISH VERSION. Madam Mónica (the owner) has what we would call "palito" (good mood) to give attention to customers. We contacted her online and the truth is that we had a very good stay. Since we stayed more than ten (10) days, she gave us a very good price. Try to bargain with her, she is very reasonable. Food is good and she also has beers, sodas, and liquors. Accomodation is for all types of taste, though it is bungalow style. There are rooms close to the sea, as a matter of fact, this family hotel is 20 meters away from shore, or there are rooms in the back of the property for those who like better silence. Sometimes there is a smell like a sewer, BUT IT IS NOT from the Hotel, it is from the manglar, and it is natural, you cannot do anything about it but the smell does not enter into the rooms. It was really cool stay. FOR TRANSPORTATION there is no airport, so that it is necessary to arrive to Monteria city airport, and from there you can take land transportation. There are several ways to go, some are more expensive than others. I would like to recommend Taxi Driver Mr. Jaime Contreras. Phone (3) 3215 296 530. He goes an picks you all up at the airport. The only problem is that he DOES NOT SPEAK ENGLISH. But he is a very good person. He charges around COP 150,000 (USD 50 - 70) for the transportation of two (2) people in a comfortable manner. You will have to bargain with him too in case there are many people going to Coveñas town. If there are more than two people to transport, he makes the necessary arrangements with other taxi colleages and they take you all very comfortably. Transport to Coveñas Town lasts for about hour an a half (1,5 hrs), but it is really worth it. He even gives you coconut water for the heat during the trip, and he is very talkative. There are many tour options that Mrs. Mónica takes charge to recommend and there are good plans to San Bernardo Islands, Aquarium and Mud Vocano for those who like skin treatments in open air. Everything is very comfy and cozy. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

Reviewed By sodajaraUn sitio realmente excelente, las cabañas son súper nuevas y muy bien dotadas, todo les funciona, el aire acondicionado es perfecto, la cocina es apenas para lo que se necesita, muy bien doradas con caja fuerte, TV, nevera. El mar queda solo saliendo del conjunto sin pasar carreteras. La atención del administrador y todos los que trabajan es espectacular. Les recomiendo para unas vacaciones en familia y amigos. Pueden tener cabañas desde 4 personas hasta una de 16. Tiene una piscina ideal para niños Hay a menos de una cuadra una tienda para comprar cosas básicas como agua, hielo, arepas, pan entre otras cosas y si requiere algo más hay un éxito express a 2 minutos en carro o 15 a pie. En la playa no llegan buses Muy recomendado felicidad garantizada

Reviewed By tikibartobeI will try to be fair with the pros and cons of our stay. The location of this small complex of villas is within the poorest and dangerous areas of Tolú. Upon our arrival we were warned to not take walks on the road or beach because we could be mugged. That was terrible news to us , as we are hikers, walkers and explorers. There was nothing nearby but slum like housing. The local airport is currently closed, so we took a two hour cab ride from Monteria. The pros and cons of the villas. Pros: Very nice staff, very helpful and attentive to our needs. All our requests were taken care of in a timely manner. We had a two bedroom, 2 level unit with small kitchen and breakfast bar. 2 full bathrooms. Each area had its own ac unit so it could be controlled separately. A nice pool and pool area with showers. Private beach area with large palm trees for shade. Cons: Upon our arrival, found that the units did not have toilet paper or soap. They sell it. The beds are small and hard, 1 tv in a common area which is so hot, we had it moved to the kitchen. No privacy between units. I could see and hear next door. The refrigerator was off when we arrived, and had to wait for it to get cold. They charge if you want the sheets changed or housekeeping. The complex does not have a true restaurant, but there are 2 women who work a snack bar and if you plan a day ahead they will prepare for you what’s on the menu. Did not care much for snacks they prepared, but dinner was home style and fine. They read the electricity meter upon arrival and departure, so you pay for the electricity you use. If you are a foreigner do not go here, no English spoken. You will be isolated, if you want to get to the islands, just keep going. This is not worth visiting.

Reviewed By VIRGINIA1970Excelente el servicio, la calidad, los desayunos y almuerzos que cocina la Sra María son excelentes, la atención de la Sra María y el Sr. Miguel, muy amables, pendiente de todo, la limpieza de la habitación muy buena, camas cómodas, excelente el hotel, muy seguro el lugar, el hotel queda en la calle principal, cerca a la FAC, la playa semiprivada a unos cuantos metros del hotel, el costo/calidad muy acorde, las fotos de las habitaciones y demás son lo real que brinda el hotel. Coveñas un lugar muy seguro, también resalto la atención del Sr. Nico quien nos recogió en la terminal y nos llevó al hotel, el tours a las Islas de San Bernardo muy bueno, la comida normal, el tours a Sanantero muy bueno, nos llevó el Sr. Nico y nos recogió. playas limpias, agradables, un lugar para regresar, recomendado. El jugo de guanabana que vende el Sr. Nico es excelente, pruebe lo, recomendado. El Ara y la Olimpica quedan en la plaza, un poco distante del hotel, pero en mototaxi o cochetaxi es fácil llegar.

Reviewed By Juan Manuel GEl hotel es muy bonito cuenta con decoracion en las paredes de unos peces y la verdad esta es una excelente ubicacion justo a una cuadra y medio del la playa, la chica es amable y cuantan con aire acondicionado las habitaciones, el precio es super en conparacion con los demas hoteles el valor esta en 35.000 a 40.000 por personas o por pareja puedes llegar sin reservar alli siempre hay espacio.
