Reviewed By ratiphannn015I was very impressed with the hotel because it was a beachfront hotel that was perfect for relaxing and heating yourself. At night, you can hear the waves of the sea lightly. The wind blows softly, providing cold knowledge, clearing the mind. In the morning, the sun rises very well plus the cool air refreshes.

We serve cozy and homey place for all. Riad Hua Hin located in the peaceful area of Takiab bay, Hua Hin, only 200 meter away from Takiab beach with the beautiful view of sunrise in the ocean or even sunset with the mountain view. We adopted the cats and they living here with us, but don't worry, we don't allow them to get in to the guest rooms and normally they spending their day time outside the hotel and night time they have their own rooms to sleep ^^ For those who don't want to go out side for lunch or dinner, Riad cafe provide a simple but delicious food and beverage. Outside guest can also enjoy our beautiful breakfast for only 200 THB.
Hospitable authentic quiet
Reviewed By Aelfhere LVery nice atmospheric hotel with great authentic vibe, management being truly hospitable and caring about the guests. Location is quiet ideal for families with small kids or getaway. Hint : Sleeping cat room is right by the pool. There is a nice roof top with access the second floor- Standing and Sitting cat rooms. 500 meters to the Takiab Beach and even less to 7-11 and restaurants. Amoyzing! Will come again ?

Including bike rental services and easy to get to many tourist spots in Phetkasem road by local transportation such as airport,Plernwarn,the Venezia,huahin beach,clock tower,Market Village,lotus shopping mall,Bluport Department store and FREE WIFI
The good and the bad
Reviewed By IveeLimCorresponded with a lady staff (did not get her name) prior to room reservation . She was extremely helpful. Promptly helped to locate DIY laundromat not far from the hotel. This young lady who spoke good English, advised and provided helpful transport information. She even helped us to negotiate with a taxi driver on the phone when we were out and navigating between two attractions. In contrast, the male staff by the name of Somchai was slow at check in, could not communicate in English (he relied heavily on Google translate) and was not interested in providing service. We could stand at the counter while he continued using his handphone and showed no interest to offer any service. When we managed to get his attention, his smile was always very fake. This happened 2-3 times during our 4 night stay.

Great stay
Reviewed By G2KpaulyI enjoyed my 2 nights at this hotel. The room was spotless. The wifi quick. The aircon new and owners friendly. There is free coffee and tea at reception and a lift which is handy. The location is perfect close to night market and many food options and city centre. I'll stay next time in Hua Hin!

Underwhelming
Reviewed By WerckmeisterMy Vimarn looks great from the photos, but admittedly staying there was really rather underwhelming. Here are some positives first however: - friendly staff, except the cleaning lady who tried to come in when a clear "Do Not Disturb" sign was hanging right outside my door - The hotel's white and blue decor is quite pleasant - room is very clean and very large, as is the bathroom (they could have easily fitted a bathtub though, but they chose not to) - they give you tons of water bottles, which is very much appreciated! - huge indoor pool (but this is also a negative, see below) - location is okay. walkable to Cicada market, but at the same time is a bit remote as it has no good access to the beach (more below). Now here are why I was less than impressed: - the air-conditioning is designed to get you sick. In my room, it blows right on top of you while you are in bed! And alas it's the hot season here in Thailand, so if you turn it off it is way too warm, but if you turn it on the air is blasting right on top of you and you get sick. This made sleeping really rather uncomfortable. - there is very little noise proofing in the room. As the room faces the huge indoor pool, and everything is closed off, it means that noises from any floor echoes throughout, and you can here it clearly, even inside the rooms. When I was there, someone had the great idea of swimming around midnight, and splashing around and making noises. Well, I heard everything despite being on the top floor. Ugh. - breakfast is very mediocre. There wasn't a lot of Western options available (despite egg options). Surely more than one bread option is possible?? - outdoor pool itself is...very underwhelming in design and usage. Worse, there is no way to really get from the hotel to the beach. You have to go around to use a public entrance, which makes it less ideal. I debated for a while as to whether give this hotel 2 or 3 stars. But honestly for the amount per night, you can get much better rooms in other places, and ones which are much, much more conducive to restful sleep. So alas I have to give this a 2 stars (ie. I would not return here), despite the very nice folks who work there. Sorry!

The Thai House Resort, a recently opened thai style bungalow resort, is located an easy 13 km drive south of Hua Hin in the very peaceful Khao Tao area. The Resort has 6 One Bedroom bungalows (sleeps 2 adults) and 3 Two Bedroom bungalows (sleeps up to 4 adults). Each Bungalow has an onsuite bathroom, and is equipped with aircon, wifi and an outdoor balcony area. Every guest at the Resort can enjoy mountain and pool views from the bungalows, and is within 600m of the nearby Sai Noi beach. The Resort offers free use of bicycles for local bike paths and to get to the beach. A complimentary vegetarian or Asian breakfast is provided every morning at the Thai style cafe that is located onsite at the Resort. Thai House Resort offers a nice garden and and a 20m lap pool. The reception can provide advice on the area in order to help guests plan their day. Popular points of interest near the resort include Sai Noi beach, Wat Tham temple and Rajabharki Park.

Reviewed By CvB20152015Small resort with wooden stand alone huts around swimming pool and very nicely designed and maintained garden. The rooms are compact, but complete. The resort is a 20 minute walk from nearby beaches. The location is 15 min drive from downtown Hua Hin
