Relaxing hideaway
Reviewed By Lucienne AWe loved this Villa, a beautiful setting with excellent amenities and the best food that we encountered in Venezuela. We were very well looked after. The Villa is safe, secure and is limited to six bungalows. Day excursions can be arranged from the private dock, just make sure that you can communicate in Spanish so you know what's in store! We did full board, so didn't have to worry about anything.

Reviewed By JenniedeanI would not recommend this hotel to anyone as staff are rude and change all the rules whenever they want. No staff speak English (except at the reception). Our room smelt like sewage. No information what so ever about what is included in the all inclusive. Only could get two drinks at a time at the bar which was not good as we were in a family of seven. The children were told to take out their rubber rings from the swimming pool due to a health and safety risk, there was only about 6 other people in the pool.

Reviewed By Luis Rexcelent people, good food, quite, nice sea, tranquil. You can read, swim, sunset. Best food in all the region. Pool. Natural enviroment. No Television. Time to think, love, feel and read. Near from Puerto La Cruz but hidden from the big tourist exodus. No Noise. Clean

Comodissima per visitare tutta la zona circostante ricca di selva, spiagge incontaminate e piantagioni di cacao e caffè. Il proprietario il Sig. James è una persona squisita molto colta e disponibile.

Esta a pocos minutos de la ciudad de Puerto La Cruz, así que para los invitados que no se hospeden no es tan difícil ir a la fiesta y volver a la ciudad esa misma noche

horrible in 2010!
Reviewed By oeluluthis review is for my stay in 2010! it was horrible, the worst! the employees were wonderful and told owner that the water filter was broke so they bought some. owner at that time was very cheap and said they should not buy water but use filter anyways. whole camp got sick! diarrea and vomiting. I had the spanish classes booked and had to fight for them. the volonteer work was a joke. they were all about selling without any quality. Food never was enough for all of us.

The Posada Restaurante Café del Mar, is a Rustic inn type, to the seashore, it is ideal for backpackers, families, and other tourist, ideal for relax, it is simple and very clean, the rooms are comfortable, with air conditioner, or withou air conditioner, has two terraces where you can enjoy the best sunsets in the area and maybe the best you've seen, we have accept small pets, also have internet service wi-fi in the patio area and the rooms, have a spacious kitchen, a large barbecue brick and reverberate for all guests, we restaurants at the edge of the beach, where can taste the best dishes and seafood, we are very near the Municipal market town an church.
"Café Mar" posada escondida en playa Cochaima, pero útil para descansar
Reviewed By victorpvEn unión de mi esposa y unos amigos(esposos tambien y colegas profesores), visitamos recientemente el oriente venezolano, concretamente Playa Cochaima,en el poblado de Santa Fé, dentro del perímetro del Parque nacional "Mochima" entre Puerto la Cruz y Cumaná, aproximadamente a 370 Km de la capital de la República, por una vía que está en buenas condiciones, pero hay que transitarla con cuidado, por lo sinuoso y angosto de la carretera y la abundancia de gandolas en la vía. El pueblito, es común, en el día tiene movimiento, sobre todo en los alrededores del pequeño mercado y el espacio de comercialización del pescado, la playa es pequeña pero sin oleaje y con aguas cristalinas, apropiada para familias con niños y ancianos.Los atardeceres en la playa son hermosos. Existen establecimientos de comida, pero cierran a más tardar a las ocho de la noche, asumo que por la inseguridad. Ahora bien la posada "Café del Mar" es una estructura de dos pisos, con catorce habitaciones que internamente tienen aire acondicionado, tv internacional, baño y sin guardaropa. La posada no tiene estacionamiento, pero a pocos metros está uno donde por un modesto pago guardan los carros y es cerrado y seguro. En la entrada principal, tienen un modesto restaurant y un espacio para que la gente coma y disfrute la playa, que por cierto está al frente de la posada. No esperen algo fastuoso, más bien, se trata de una edificación sencilla y con abundantes arboles que la hacen fresca todo el tiempo. Para finalizar debo señalar dos aspectos básicos; el primero es lo engorroso para ubicarla y llegar a la misma, no recomendable hacerlo en horas nocturnas, El segundo, tiene que ver con los administradores y propietarios, si bien es cierto que tuvieron un gesto de solidaridad cuando mi esposa se sintió algo quebrantada de salud, en general,se trata de personas distantes y en algunos casos hasta descorteses, impropia conducta de prestadores de servicio, es más la joven que atiende, cierra la entrada con llave a las diez de la noche y luego es complicado comunicarse con ella para que abra. Reviewed By Pabloab2011Es un pequeño hotel de dos pisos , al llegar nos percatamos de la pulcritud del lugar, los empleados están muy bien entrenados y son atento, amables y serviciales, las habitaciones son muy limpias, todo funciona, aire acondicionado, agua caliente, tv por cable, camas en excelente condiciones, como punto a mejor están las almohadas, de resto todo bien
