The Artist House located on Prabaramee Road Patong Phuket Thailand, far away from Patong Beach around 900 meters and far from Junceylon Shopping Mall around 10 minutes. Our hotel have 5 floor and 8 rooms with local Art Gallery on the first floor.
Rock hard beds
Reviewed By lucky555111Rock hard beds and no elevator for so called 3 star hotel. If you cannot sleep on the floor or have weak knees, do not book this hotel. Only great thing here is the hotel service workers. All other things are just avg. Air quality is very bad bc it is located along one the busiest streets in Patong area. Spend a little extra cash and go to Western owned franchise hotel. Even the 4 or 5 star Asian hotels are subpar to Western operated hotels. My clothes still smell like old gas and very toxic. I had to check out early and to another crappy hotel , Frutta Boutique, in same street.

Poor service staff ruined this nice hotel
Reviewed By TravelerFoodie192I would have liked to rate this place higher but the nasty service really let it down. Positives: lovely room, spotless clean, great location. Negatives: breakfast should have been a choice of continental, American or Asian, however the first morning we were just seated and the manager brought out scrambled eggs, toast and some processed meat. I asked if we could choose continental because I don’t eat meat but she said there is no other choice. Also we chose to extent our stay an extra night and booked it on booking.com. When I went to pay the manager tried to charge me 440 baht but I explained I had booked it for 416. She would not have it and tried to barter me down to 420. I insisted that I had already booked the room for 416 and will only pay that. Eventually she said “fine” and was rude and stroppy, slamming the change on the counter. I was so surprised because she’d been so nice up to then! This just made things so uncomfortable, not good service. Just be honest and treat your guests fairly. After that encounter all contact just felt awkward. No smiles, no chats, ignored us, blatantly talking badly about us in Thai, we felt so unwelcome. We weren’t made breakfast the next day, we came down and there were a few pieces of bread with butter etc left next to a toaster, stuff to make a hot drink and a bit of chopped pineapple. We asked for more bread and if we could have egg again and they just said no. Asking for cutlery and a bowl seemed like too much effort for them. Strange? They really didn’t like us because we didn’t pay that extra 24 baht! I just can’t rate any higher because the overall experience was so unpleasant, you shouldn’t have to feel nervous walking through reception every day and we did, all because of their greed. One other tip: if you want to rent a bike don’t go with their recommendation next door. If you don’t leave your passport they ask for a deposit of 60,000 baht (£1500)!! Couldn’t believe it, you could buy about 5 mopeds for that money. They were a little blunt about it too insisting all shops in the area have the same policy. Instead use ‘cheap as chips’, great friendly service, good bikes and you only leave 3,000 baht deposit and a passport copy only.

Reviewed By therussellingI stayed at the Delicious Residence in Patong, Soi Nanai Road for 2 weeks at the beginning of November 2021 - very big and spacious hotel room, complete with a very large balcony and table and chairs outside the sliding double doors. I was on the top floor, room 134 to be exact. Very nice views from the hotel room back and front, the room was very clean and tidy and can be cleaned upon request, toiletries are provided. The room comes the a TV, entry of storage space for your luggage and clothes etc along with a fridge/freezer to keep your drinks cool. This is part of a family run business for which not only have this hotel but also motorcycles for rent, day trips/tours, taxi etc - the Husband and Wife team are both very friendly and easy to get along with. There is a swimming pool on site for use, I didn't use or myself but it was very clean and looked good at night in different colours. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Positives - Large rooms - Great swimming pool - Good complementary break fast - Being a resort, it is a spacious compound and provides privacy if that's what you are looking for Negatives - Air conditioning is not good. The A/C is kept in a foyer leading to the bath-room, far-away from the bed. Hence, it literally takes one hour for you to feel cool after tuning it on. This is really bad. - Located a bit far-off (more than 2 kms) from the Patong city centre (Bangla road area). Hence, commuting is a bit of a problem. Due to the distance, walking is almost ruled-out. The taxi/tuk-tuk in Phuket seems to be operated by a mafia. Even for a 2 km ride, they charge you 300-400 THB and the same applies for Grab too, where as you can travel around 10 km for 100 THB in Bangkok ! - A TV which is more than a decade old and only a few channels were available and that too were grainy (not a digital connection) - Wifi was choppy, but didn't matter to me as I had taken a separate data-pack on my mobile

(1 Minute walk to beach front, 7 Minutes walk To Bangla Walking Street).

It must be near to the main market. 4. It must be modern looking unless the place has a theme. Believe me or not this place has everything. On top of it, the staff is really friendly and helpful, they can also help you in booking the tours, taxi and a ferry. I had an amazing time, staying at this place :) Thank you for the great hospitality.

Hidden little gem in Patong

From the minute we stepped foot through the door at Ban Patong Residence to the day we left, Tree made us feel so welcome and accommodated for all of our needs. Located within a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to the Bangla Road strip, this was perfect for our 3 day stay in Patong after arriving in Phuket from Sydney as part of our two month backpacking trip around Australasia/Asia. Breakfast is included in the room rate and the waffles were the perfect way to start each morning! The rooms are spotless, the bed was comfortable and also made up daily by the maid, including the replenishment of fresh towels and toiletries. The AC was a godsend to come back to after spending a day on the beach. Beach towels are also provided at reception. Tree also helped us out booking our outward ferry journey from Phuket to Koh Phi Phi and also recommended various other destinations that we should consider during our stay in Thailand. I can’t stress enough how friendly, hospitable and attentive Tree was during our stay - Her English was faultless and she was the perfect host. If your doing Thailand on a budget, this place is a must and also excellent value for money. We’d both 100% recommend staying at Ban Patong Residence if you’re on the hunt for authentic Thai hospitality. Thank you Tree and the team at Ban Patong Residence, it was an absolute pleasure.

Loved my stay
Reviewed By G2KpaulyI enjoyed 8 nights at this lovely hotel. The location is perfect right near the action but still quiet at night for a good sleep. The staff were lovely. The rooftop pool was quite nice and the rooms were perfect with a Belcony, bath and comfy bed and aircon. Coffee and tea. Rooms cleaned daily by the friendly cleaners who do a really good job. Yes I'd stay here again it was a perfect hotel for me.

The resort with a little Restaurant for breakfast and lunch is located in a quiet area of Kamala and yet within minutes you are in the middle of life with bars, restaurants and shopping. And the very famous Phuket fantasy is in the immediate vicinity. The beach is about 8 to 10 minutes on foot. But we offer (especially in the high season) a free Shutleservice to the beach. At the same time, we have our own taxiservice and a Scooter rental. We are available with tips and ideas for tours, excursions, restaurants and whatever
All you need as a backpacker
Reviewed By TeroP117Resort is nearby Kamala-beach, only 5 min walk. It is close to main road,but still far enough to not hear noises from bars, restaurants or vehicles. Owner-couple is very friendly and they do all that you feel welcome and will assist you with any conserns. Room was clean and from shower you get hot water aswell. Room was aswell cleaned every day. I stayed in Kamala with my girlfriend for 2 nights and we were very pleasent about The resort. Nothing to complain. Fair Price and all you need If not Even More you expect as a backpacker. If going again to Kamala I will definitely book nights from here again!
