A delightful 1830s country house, fishing lodge and hotel in one of the most spectacular settings in Connemara Ireland. It offers charming accommodation, glorious scenery, great food and total tranquillity. Located in a wild and unspoilt valley of extraordinary beauty, the 1000-acre Delphi estate is one of Ireland’s hidden treasures. The historic lodge, famous as a holiday hideaway, is surrounded by the tallest mountains in Connemara and overlooks the lakes and rivers of the Delphi valley famous for their salmon and seatrout fishing. This beautiful lodge has 13 large comfortable bedrooms one of which is a large family suite and three which can be either twin or triple rooms. A large dining room, a snooker room and three old world reception rooms with log fires all combine to ensure that our guests have a warm, relaxing and friendly experience throughout their stay.
Fantastic family break
Reviewed By 40eileenlSpent three nights with family in one of the cottages as we had dogs. The cottages were lovely and had everything one would need. The grounds were beautiful and perfect for a stroll with the hounds. Food at Delphi Lodge was delicious and staff brilliant and a big shout out to Mary and Geraldine. Lots to do nearby, pretty villages and gorgeous beaches. No complaints from this group. Thank you for a wonderful three nights.

Serene countryside getaway, delicious breakfast!
Reviewed By Clee3447Stayed in the purple room and was welcomed with coffees and teas in the room. It was spacious and comfortable, with a TV and a gorgeous view of sheep and meadows out the windows. We all slept super well, and the price was very reasonable. The hosts were lovely, and cooked the best breakfast we had throughout our weeklong stay in Ireland. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay for longer!

Reviewed By Borehamwood1958We had a lovely time at Drumhouse. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a long time, I loved the attention to detail. The hosts John & Donogh were very nice. Beds were comfortable. Great location if you want to visit knock shrine. We will definitely be going back at some stage.

Reviewed By 269izfHad a great stay at the Lodge recently. Lovely, large modern rooms and bathrooms. Great for families. Ballina town is on your doorstep with all its shops, pubs and restaurants. Loved the courtyard and had a beautiful meal in Dillons next door. Highly recommend

Reviewed By V8310KCpauloStayed here for a weekend break with friends, from our arrival Leigh and all the staff did everything in their power to ensure our stay was enjoyable.Amidst the restrictions because of the pandemic we still had a great weekend and all the guidelines were strictly adhered to and didn't hamper our enjoyment, the food in the Connaught Inn and the great bar staff (Andrew, Carlos) made for a great time, I would highly recommend this place for a staycation as not only are the prices very reasonable the service is second to none.

Reviewed By g0rd0nianHad a great night in house 360 , the highlight of my stay was the complimentary boxty, pizza, wedges and white wine it gave is a real homely feel. It was a really nice touch by the hosts. Magda was a superb host and very accommodating.

Set in the Cornmarket, Ballinrobe, on the road to Headford and Galway, this basic but comfortable hotel provides self-catering and en-suite accommodation a few minutes’ walk from town centre. Note that some of the rooms can be very small. The Railway Inn provides a restaurant, a shared lounge and free WiFi and is just a short drive from the three main lakes that are such a big part of the area- Lough Corrib, Lough Mask and Lough Cara, all great for fishing and boating . A self-service breakfast is provided from 8am to noon and carvery lunch with daily specials are then available until about 3pm. The cabbage and bacon is a personal favourite. The nearest airport is 55 km away at the Ireland West Knock Airport, Knock, Co Mayo.

Lovely B&B close to Shrine
Reviewed By VivO_12Really lovely accommodation. Very clean and tidy. Bed was very large and very comfortable with en-suite. Had to go to Drumhouse B&B to check in & collect key but is only 2 doors down & a note on door to advise. Breakfast was continental but very good selection & staff very friendly and helpful. A little sitting room available to make tea & coffee. Ample free on site parking. Very pleased with my stay and would stay again.
