Most beautiful place in Luanda
Reviewed By Nuria Alexandra MIt is very relaxing and welcoming. I love the fact that you have so much contact with Nature at this lodge. Food is good, it is gourmet kitchen,they have kids menu which is great. The rooms have kettle for tea/coffee, a mini bar, everything was very clean and spotless, nice swimming pool area. I did not give 5 stars because it still needs to improve regarding some services, the swimming pool was not very clean and it had a very strong smell of chlorine, another downfall was that massages are only available on Sundays at lunch time and there is not much entertainment around the lodge, Tv quality was also very poor.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ALL AROUND.
Reviewed By Nercio_SBVery bad experienced from start to end. The Staff is unprepared, unprofessional and very disrespectful. Horrible service and the low quality food and bad presentation. After more than 2h40min wait for the food, we cancelled the order. The staff denied us from access to the complaint book (which is mandatory and a costumer right) and refused to give us our receipt. 0 out of 5

delightful oasis, lovely rooms, good food
Reviewed By Denise MDelightful grounds, beautiful rooms, with excellent facilities and good food. We stayed here twice as a stopover and much enjoyed the calm and carefully curated ambiance, both internal and external. The modern facilities all work and are very clean and security was good. The breakfast buffet is exceptional with a range of breads, jams, cooked items, cheeses and fruit etc. We chose food from the varied daily specials menu and service was quick and the food tasty. A small amount of English was spoken by the staff but Spanish worked fine! Good 3G so did not use the wifi.

Great, but only on the surface
Reviewed By trevcoleA well located hotel with a nice ambience. But, despite its appearance there are many shortcomings. The rooms had, in some cases, air conditioning which didn’t work! Showers leaked and service was lackadaisical. Breakfast was disappointing with little effort to replace food which was depleted. Furthermore the use of English in the Hotel was very limited! An a little self appraisal is needed!

BIG DEAL BREAKER
Reviewed By PValleI stayed for almost 2 weeks, people are very nice, room ok, clean, good location, nice restaurant. But A BIG DEAL BREAKER, they are increibly strict about not allowing outside food at the hotel, not even water! Each room has a small fridge, i dont know why, they even make you sign a document saying they will charge you over 50 dollars if they find out. So I talked to the front desk to insist that after a 10 days I was bored with the same food. But the security guard made me go outside almost to the streeth to receive my delivery. The staff was very apologetic and I am sure it's not their fault. This policy is absurd and I am pretty sure is against the law, what about jewish people? Or allergies? Or vegan? Lactose intolerance? I am not saying to buy a supermatket but basic stuff, a yogurt, water in the middle of the night, lactose free milk! Please hire a serious economic analysis to find out how much bussiness you are loosing for that policy.

Reviewed By Andriy SUm sítio muito calmo com serviço acima da média. O quarto estava limpo e bastante moderno, refeições foram em regime self-service. A Gerente estava sempre preocupada com o nosso bem-estar. A sala de jogos, ginásio e piscina foram uma surpresa num sítio tão isolado. Duas vezes por dia é realizada visita aos animais onde vimos centenas de animais (springbok, gnu, zebras, olongo, empala, orix, gunga, girafas, etc). É pena que o safari park não dispor animais tais como o elefante, rino e leão, seria um destino premium em Angola.

Excellent safari but poor accomadation and service
Reviewed By Pathfinder791519We were a group of 13 people and got 7 rooms. As the price was 33,000 KWZ, we expected decent rooms with good service but the rooms were quite small. Also the water in the rooms were not working. We had a time fixing it. Couldnt take showers and flush the toilets. Also the swimming pool on the day we checked in was a disaster. there were a lot of moss and insects in the swimming pool. I presume it was not cleaned for over months. As we complained, the swimming pool got cleaned. the safai was good. I suggest to stay in some outside hotels in Cabeledo and come to safari in the morning.

Reviewed By pscfrSeul le jardin est encore à peu prêt bien. Il donne sur la plage (plutôt sale) et une arrière cour qui sert de décharge. Tout est vétuste. La climatisation indispensables dans un container vibre aussi fort qu‘un moteur d‘avion, fuite dans la salle de bain, parois de vitres absentes, mobilier branlant, literie passable (mais propre), rouilles sur les parois de murs.

Food reasonable but expensive
Reviewed By Homero SUsed to be a place for lobster. It still is, but it is expensive and the portions are not impressive. The piglet is good , if you find it. Cannot comment on the lodging, as I don’t stay here; lots of comments on other posts.
