Wampushkar Hotel

We are located in the down town and so close of the main touristic places of the city.

Nice hotel, great price!

Reviewed By Fruvio R

I highly recommend this hotel if you are in Zamora for business. The hotel is well located in town with almost all the public offices around. The staff is really friendly and helpful, the room was clean, the internet excellent, hot water and parking (for vehicle) and all of this, for an incredible good price... The breakfast is excellent (included in the price) and you can contemplate the river and enjoy the beautiful view from upstair.

Hotel Betania

Noisy, hot, terrible WiFi

Reviewed By someonecallednick

I was told when I checked in that this hotel does not provide fans (a lie, it would seem from the photos and comments here). Anyway, the receptionist promised that opening the window would ventilate the room, but it did not - it opened to an internal shaft that led down to reception and provided no ventilation at all. So room like an oven. The window shaft did act as an echo chamber for noise from reception though, in which a child was running up and down a screaming until late and the receptionist had some super loud and distorted salsa tune as her ringtone that she let play out at least 10 times during the night. Sound also filters into the room from neighbouring rooms and bathrooms. Oh, and the internet is terrible, slowest I’ve had in Ecuador (which is saying something). NOT recommended.

Great location, friendly staff, nice breakfast

Reviewed By ChaseSq

Zamora is not a big place, just know that. It's very quiet. Hotel Samuria is in a great location, next to the Parque Central. The staff were very nice and I felt safe and secure the entire time. Rooms are air conditioned, the hot water in the shower is great. Room service made up my room asap. Good views from the upper floors. The included breakfast was a delight (best eggs I can remember, I don't know how they do it). Price is fair (pay in cash, no credit cards), good wifi. In general, a very nice place to stay, short walk to the bus station, no need for a cab unless you're hauling large bags. There's a good sized Tia grocery store nearby. I recommend and were I to be back in Zamora, I would stay here again.
