Hunters' place - plenty of dead animals as decoration
Reviewed By The-Veggie-GourmetThe Hotel belongs to the brewery Warsteiner I was told. Unfortunately they seem to have pleasure in decorating it in hunter stuff with fur, Horns, etc. The rooms are ok and clean but I just don't feel right in this place.

Friendly family run hotel
Reviewed By TopsMASuper family run hotel with helpful friendly waitstaff in the restaurant. The menu is "meat heavy" but it's Germany! I did find meat free dishes but the selection was small. The food is honest German food so don't expect fancy! The garden is a lovely place to eat dinner too. Our room was a decent size, comfortable & quiet, with a balcony to sit on, which was lovely. The breakfast was continental, was tasty but lacked imagination I would definitely stay here again.

Friendly and welcoming
Reviewed By GoshawksWell where to start with this charming little hotel. The bed was absolutely amazing, really soft and comfy. The food was really nice and very reasonably priced and good portion size, I would only say to offer more on the menu as it is dominated by schnitzel. The staff were brilliant, they really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home and for this reason we will definitely be visiting again.

Of course, our guests have free parking at their disposal. Gorgeous but noisy if you need the window open
Reviewed By MrsBaumI have stayed here before around 4 years ago and had no hesitation in going back. The breakfast is lovely and the staff were very welcoming. The rooms are modern and clean with a great shower...however...the weather was so hot and sticky we needed the window open but there were train noises all night from the brewery, but with the windows closed we couldn’t really breathe...a fan in each room would solve this and then we could have had movement of air without the noise.

rustige lokatie
Reviewed By Arco PWij als vervent motorrijders hadden hier 4 nachten geboekt om van daaruit te touren over het Sauerland. Wij moeten zeggen het is ons prima bevallen erg vriendelijke eigenaar uitstekend ontbijt alles is superschoon ruime kamer gratis koffie en thee en frisdrank en bier voor 1 euro uit de ijskast in de hal bij de kamers. De volgende keer zullen wij er zeker weer boeken. Een nadeeltje is dat het dichts bijzijnde restaurant 2,5 kilometer is wij gingen gewoon lopend vonden wij prima te doen.
