See you at Hotel Asteria.
There is a lot to like at the Asteria, but all this was overshadowed by the fact on my late night arrival the room was absolutely freezing. I raised this in the morning and was told the radiators on floor three did not work and I needed to use the aircon. Even turned up to 25 degrees the room never really warmed up. On the plus side good restaurant and very friendly bar staff. Personally, with the high Covid rate in the Netherlands I'd have preferred to see staff wearing masks and far more sanitiser in evidence.

Hotel de Zwaan is a small and cosy hotel/restaurant. We like to be at your service. The rooms are shaped and have their own bathroom, seperate toilet, TV, WiFi, and free parking. Our hotel is situated in Venray centre, where you find a broad scala in shops. The square Grote Markt, is loved for its horeca. In the direct neighbourhood you find the pride of Venray, the church St. Petrus Banden.
The Orange committee held the reception after the annual remembrance day at the Zwaan. The served appetizers were delicious, the staff is professional and very friendly. If you are looking for a good meal or a nice place to stay I would definitely recommend this place.

This hotel is important for the region. The local choir sang songs like Bohemian Rapsody while we stayed in the hotel. The hotel is a local family business. The owners care about their guest and clients that hold an event there. We loved the personal touch at breakfast with house recipe omelets and blueberry pancakes. The rooms are a bit dated, but the place has lots of character. The inner courtyard is super. The staff is very friendly.

This hotel has an excellent location in the city center of Venray. Our stay was not good due to a saggy bed, loud life music till 03:00 and a curtain that did not close completely. The service by the staff is great and they serve a good breakfast.

I cannot fault this B&B, which is located just around the corner of the town centre. A very quirky place to say the least. A separate entrance via a side door into a spacious room which is decorated very tastefully, displaying natural stone and high specification plasterwork. Our room was also high spec and faultless. During this covid time, the extremely friendly hostess, took the necessary steps to keep guests separated at breakfast, which was extremely good. All you could wish for a breakfast, to start your day.

Location is nice but that's about it. Service was ok. Room size was ok. It was really cold when outside temperature was about 6 C degrees. How cold it is when temperature drops below zero C. Even after heating was adjusted to maximum room was in the morning only slightly warmer. I had two blankets and a hat to keep me warm over the night. IF weather is hot there are no A/C, only small table fan in the wardrobe. All possible noise from the corridor comes in but luckily it is small hotel. It was non-smoking room, at least there were sign of that, but it was really smelly as well as my colleagues rooms. That was really disturbing. They close restaurants kitchen at 9 PM. Breakfast included bread, some cold cuts and cheese, boiled egg, yogurt and muesli so that's about it. This was only one day experience so there may be some variation but... Hotel has own parking lot behind the corner. There is a narrow alley about 10m from reception door. Gate open automatically when driving in but you need a "coin" to drive out. If I have to stay in Venray several night and this hotel is only option to stay I would rather drive from close-by city instead.
