Nice room with bathtub
Reviewed By Lena TAs soon as I checked in I jumped into a hot bath for an hour. The lobby restaurant was Nice and in the morning there was an early yoga class before breakfast buffé which was great. The pool and sauna area was cozy also

Reviewed By manodrakaThe room was clean, had a decent size, and equipped with useful stuff like: water boiler, coffee, tea, candies ❤️. It is nice that they offer free parking and a decent variety of breakfast served in a cozy area. The staff was helpful and nice. I would return there.

Reviewed By Micke LThe rooms were recently renovated so they were really nice. The shower only had the hand held nossle. The staff was nice and the breakfast really good. The location is just ok. A bit away from town but the view from the dining hall is nice. But there is nothing to do on walking distance. And the area isn’t the most pitoresque. But if you have car you can go into town.

Reviewed By carolg816Good location just a short walk from train station. A lovely B&B, the room we stayed in was on the 5th floor and was clean and very spacious. Breakfast was continental style which is to be expected and very enjoyable, although I did miss a nice cup of English breakfast tea. A lovely stay indeed and I would love to come back some day

Our rooms are clean, comfortable and good value, all with private shower and toilet facilities, free wi-fi and breakfast included. We offer free and safe parking in the hotel courtyard and a nice garden to eat your breakfast when the weather allows. Hotel 46 is located in the heart of Vänersborg at lake Vänern and the beautiful park Skräcklan and is within 5 minutes walk of restaurants, shops and cafés. Due to our central location most places you will wish to visit in Vänersborg are easily accessible on foot.

Reviewed By Knogge1729An excellent and well-kept hotel located on a quiet street just a few minutes' walk from both the shore of Vänern and the town square. The room was clean, well-lit and well-heated, and the breakfast buffet was more than enough to get me through a morning of wandering surrounding countryside.

Great for 'sleep-and-go'

You find the reception in a shop/restaurant across a fastfood restaurant and a self-service gas station, and the rooms are situated on the first floor, in a hallway next to an office. We were however greeted by a very nice employee, who informed us about the night entrance and informed me that my request about bedding (allergy) had been received. First time ever a hotel employee brought that up themselves, came across very thoughtful. When asked if we could call anyone in case of emergency, because the employees leave at night, we received the phone number of the owner. The room was very spacious and clean, with a simple but practical interior. I worried a moment because the windows can't open, but the climate control was excellent, as were the beds. The shower would have been great if the shower head wasn't broken, bathroom was also very clean. We read a few negative reviews about the bathroom light and lack of toilet paper and can confirm these were taken seriously by the owner, as we found both an extra bathroom light and extra toilet paper. The breakfast was buffet style, not very luxurious but enough choice and fresh food. This is not a hotel to spend a holiday in, but I would recommend it as a 'sleep-and-go' spot when on the road. The price/quality rate was a little on the high side, but it was during high season.
