Reviewed By LeonvM77Like most new Van Der Valk hotels this is a good place to stay. The rooms are good, clean and with good beds. The food is decent as well and the price not too bad either. So when looking for a hotel to stay a night or two in or close to Uden than this is a good choice.

Reviewed By 124kipkThe welcome and service you receive here makes you feel like it is 2nd home. They single and double rooms available, they are laid out quite comfortably. The shower has great pressure and heats up fast. They have a lovely breakfast that I would highly recommend, as well as the bar. The whiskey collection is stellar, I enjoyed a few flights of never heard of them whiskeys that were wonderful. The service is so wonderful, we often enjoyed the hotel and had meals delivered from local places guided by the experts at the hotel. Plenty of places around to walk to, a wonderful place to unwind. You can also explore the sauna, and pool to relax even more.

Bad beds and bad complaint handling
Reviewed By rutgercramer(in english since its understood by a larger audience). For a 4* hotel beds with deep holes in them are simply not acceptable (see photos) . Especially not when the hotel is advertising with their excellent bed quality and even offers to buy the beds with a brochure placed in the bedroom. What a laugh we had... We discovered late at night once in the bed about the bedstate (we came back from going out) so we didnt want to go to the desk again and change rooms. Wish we did in the end because we both slept very bad and woke up tired with backpains (which I dont have anymore since a long time now). By checking out I was asked about my experience so I gave my opinion. (which I would have done anyway). I was asked why I didnt tell about it straight away so I explained we went out etc and said that these beds are just unacceptable and therefor I ask at least part of our money back. Just be realistic: in a hotel the bed is one of the most important aspects of a stay. She couldnt refund anything she said. I asked for her manager for which she replied that she was the manager. I still had to wait and saw her talking to another employee which I think is real manager (lying) . After she offered an upgrade for my next stay which will ofcourse not take place. Since no refund would take place I told her I will write a review instead. Not for not getting a refund, but for the fact that this unacceptable fact was not compensated by my satisfaction. To be honest I dont see any other way they could have compensated other than making a refund anyway. Good luck with your policies and bad beds. I hope people serve themselves better than choosing your fletcher hotel.

Our experience At De Pier
Reviewed By drorswiWe took the house for 6 people, the house is large and spacious, the cleaning needs improvement , the house have 2 floors , the Stairs to the second floor (children's room floor) very steep and dangerous, the ceiling is very close to the headboard. the location is far away, most attractions are north ( hour and a half drive ) except for the efteling park and the city of Eindhoven Please note that you cannot enter the complex with a vehicle after 11pm, we did not know about it, it was not mentioned anywhere and when we arrived a few minutes after 11pm the person in charge refused to open the gate, we found ourselves begging and explaining to the person in charge Through the intercom that noboday mentioned it before and we are with small children and the house far from the gate, the person in charge agreed to open the gate and the following day even posted a sign on the gate stating that the entrance will be possible only until 11pm The pool is heated by solar heat, which does not allow it to be used most of the year, including hot months such as August. The wifi very slow and unstable.

Hostel “Kersenhof” is gelokaliseerd in een authentieke Brabantse boerderij die stamt uit het begin van de 19e eeuw. Deze boerderij maakte voorheen onderdeel uit van een van de kersen gaarden van Uden. In 2006 is het pand volledig gerenoveerd waarbij het karakter zoveel mogelijk is behouden, maar het woongenot geheel voldoet aan de huidige eisen.Dit Hostel is gelegen aan de rand van het buitengebied van Uden, op loop afstand van het centrum. Ideaal voor mensen die de rust en de sfeer van buitengebied willen ervaren, maar ook winkels, restaurant en entertainment in de directe omgeving willen hebben.Het hostel bestaat uit een aantal kamers waarvan de meeste voorzien zijn van een eigen badkamer met toilet en douche,Hiernaast heeft het hostel een woonkeuken, een ruime tuin en eigen parkeerplaatsen.

Reviewed By Observer76The owner was friendly and check in was done quite quickly. We booked family room and we got one in separated little house on 2 floors. It was very spacious and we enjoyed it. Good location and although placed next to high way there are no sounds of passing vehicles at all. Great WLAN. However there are 2 points that need to be improved. In the bathroom there is no splash protection (it is not like on the photo) and much water gets on the floor as drain system does not seem to work properly. The other point is that there are no radiators on the top floor so during the night it could be colder than downstairs. Of course these points could be different if you get family room in the main building. Final conclusion that we enjoyed our stay and we would return to this accommodation.

The location of the hotel is great, 5 minutes walking away from downtown. A lot of restaurants and shopping nearby. The only con was the wifi had a good speed but used to have micro cuts. Eventhougavery nice place to be.

Perfect for anyone looking for something a little different than the usual hotel option. The food in the restaurant was well prepared . The service was wonderful! The owner, She took care of the restaurant herself. A beautiful soul that filled the place with heart.

Suites are upstairs so be prepared for a couple flights of steps but the deluxe suite was very spacious and had a great view of the church and street outside the window! Restaurant downstairs is excellent and affordable! Breakfast is offered in the AM for guests! There was always someone available who spoke English in both the restaurant and hotel! Check in process is done through restaurant downstairs and was super quick! Uden was a cute and quaint town to visit!
