Serenity at it's best
Reviewed By Mohammad AA hotel stay that will remain in memory for good. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was varied and tasty. Location and ambience were amazing. The garden and view was wow big time. The balcony added to the beauty of location a lot. The proximity to city center made it easy for us to visit frequently. Room's furniture was worn out, including the mattress (compressed foam). Blinds worn out severely. Chair's cushion needs refurbishment. Poor TV channels with no English language ones. Guest needs to personally ask for room cleaning as this won't happen on daily basis. Receptionist informed me that room cleaning happens every 3rd day of stay!. The jacuzzi was amazing. The pool's water temperature was unpleasantly cold, while the pool's area ambience was relatively hot, which makes it really uncomfortable.

Terrible attitude to customers
Reviewed By harutyunyana2022This is actually the first time that I am leaving a bad review but I have to do this. The customer service is zero in this hotel. We have booked a family room for 2 families with kids and agreed that they will provide us a crib for babies but on place it turned out that they NEVER provide even a single crib for this room reasoning that there is no space there ( there was a space actually) and literally forced us to take a room which was more expensive ( with a bigger guest room and smaller bedroom). But most ridiculous part was that they finally provided us two cribs in the room, which was much smaller than the first one. We couldn’t find a new place with the kids so we stayed, but the mood was ruined. Also after providing second key, first one stopped working.

Reviewed By meliguzman89Staff was very kind and helpful. I adored the gentleman I think his name was Arsen at the breakfast area. I also really liked the lady at the Suna, pool area. All staff in general were very nice and accommodating. Room was “okay”. The lighting in the room could be a bit dim, as it was bright white lining the whole ceiling. Was not at all pleasant to the eyes, especially the moment you wake up.. The standard room we booked was claimed to be “soundproof” but we heard people coughing through the walls and also the moans of couples making love. Not the most pleasant experience in the room tho we stayed for the purpose of snowboarding. The swimming pool was decent and they had both wet and dry sauna which was nice. Masks were not required in the vicinity of the hotel/area for guests which was a bit of a shock for me coming from dubai. Overall the hotel was well located, they have a bus service going to the ski resort every hour and nice restaurants were convenient to walk to. Overall was “elegant” enough and I would definitely come back!

Very average and some features are bizarre
Reviewed By igityan101It’s fine to stay here for short period. Rooms are fine, although pretty budget and small. The tap water is not for drink, they give you notice when handing the key, take it into account. Many services and mentality here is soviet and obsolete. They call rooms with one wide bed as “two person room”, while it’s a clearly single. Do not rely on breakfast, as it is stuck in soviet era and will remind you Soviet re-education facility for minors. It has enforced continental menu, your table will be served with certain things without a choice. It will include things like smetana (high-fat sour cream) and butter, also expect things buckwheat or some weird porridges. They don’t have coffee, which is in this day and age is funny, and they serve you tea instead. The tables are numbered with your room number and the badges with number visible publicly which is violation personal data law, and also simply bizarre. Conclusion, if you want to stay close to ropeway, you want to stay one or two nights, and you are single or maximum couple, you can stay here, but buy your water, and don’t use their breakfast.

Reviewed By julia_rusanova? Good location - very close to the ski resort, not far from the town centre. Small but own parking. Nice views outside and from the rooms. ? Initially were offered a room with noise kitchen air system outside (family room on the first floor #101). As we arrived early - were able to change the room for the other side of the building. In one of new rooms (#207) bathroom worked poorly - water went out very slowly, towels hanging reel was broken. Floor in room was not so clean. Although the hotel was quite new (2018) - some walls were dirty from some moistures or parties, we assume it is mold. I.e. it already needs repair. During both days water was off for several hours. They say it is a common problem but a) we were not informed, b) there was no such problem in other places we visited. Although the price is high, breakfast is very moderate. No normal juice, no normal coffee (instant only), no any biscuits or bakery. Overall do not recommend to stay. Not value for money.

ALONE IN A UNIVERSITY
Reviewed By Charmaine AGood location. 15 to 20 minutes to the city. Few minutes walk to the ropeway and restaurants. Staff tried their best to communicate and help. Room heater is very good. Wi-Fi not good connection in the room. Hot water in the bathroom is not working. No English speaking staff. Its near the ropeway. The hotel looks empty. The view from the room is amazing. There's towel and soap available. They cleaned the room daily. There's a coffee machine in the lobby. Once you enter the hotel and the room you will not feel cold. Noise from the other room can easily hear to my room. Bathroom hot water is not hot enough. No English speaker staff. But the receptionist were all nice.

Splendor is Splendid!
Reviewed By _sma08_We stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage that has all the necessary things we need. The heaters were also working perfectly as it was too cold outside. Everything inside the cottage was great.The photos do not do much justice when you see the place physically. The cleanliness was also very much appreciated. Acoustics were also very good since we didn't hear any of our neighbors. We slept very well considering that there were children playing outside in the snow in the evening. The restaurant was also nice and everyone including the reception were very accommodating. Nothing is too much for them. We were also surprised with the amount of food that was offered to us since it was included (we didn't expect much for both breakfast and dinner) with our arrangement. The hotel is also about 10-15 mins walk to the ropeway and about 5 mins to the Kecharis Monastery. Splendor is highly recommended and it is worth every penny you spend and much more. Thank you very much to the entire team for taking good care of us during our stay.

Great stay
Reviewed By Photographer74This is one of the best hotels we stayed. It is located in city centre with all restaurants and shops nearby. It is not near the slopes if you are skiing but the hotel provides a shuttle 3 times during the day to take you to the slopes. Very friendly staff, spacious rooms, comfort all round. There are no swimming pool and sauna and jacuzzi in this hotel if you are a fan of swimming after skiing. Overall great experience and awesome hotel. Will definitely book again in this hotel.
