Iconic vacation
Reviewed By Cruiser07609626747This is our 2nd time coming here for a dreamed vacation. Last time, we were staying on the higher unit facing the ocean view. It was superb experience. This time around, we chose to stay in a garden suite since it’s nearer to the beach and pool. Despite of the late check-in (we had arrived early since our boat reached there around 11.55am, and the room was ready around 1.45pm, note that the normal checkin is 3pm), the rest of the experience was superb. The room was clean. The staffs were very friendly. The food was very delicious. We even got a dinner treat from the hotel for the ‘long waiting time for checkin’. They also included complimentary cocktail in the evening and free kayak session for adult. Kids are very happy to swim at the beach. Water is crystal clean. The view is also breathtaking. We could also watching the tourists releasing the sea turtle into the ocean. There was a fire show at night which were free to all visitors. Overall, this was even better experience than the previous visit during pandemic.

The food at the restaurant was good, and the prices where reasonable. The room we stayed in was simple but clean. The PIR beach is nearby, and is a more beautiful beach, than the one in front of The Barat. It takes about 8 minutes to walk to PIR beach. We stayed at the resort for 7 days, and the only thing that we can think of could be improved is, Please keep your water, cokes etc cold!! Not just semi cold?. I think it’s because they are turning off the fridge at nighttime?. Compared to the price, this is a very nice place to stay. Don’t expect a 4 star hotel, but the Service is 5 star! Without doubt.

Good room for the price
Reviewed By zamnovI loved the village like ambience of the resort. The buildings were all wooden village style. The room we stayed was a Deluxe room with a King Bed. The bed was comfortable and I had to request for an extra bed for our kids which was eventually just a mattress, sheets, blanket & pillow. The staff were friendly & the breakfast was OK. I can see why a lot of people are disappointed with the resort as it's badly maintained. I hope the management really considers into refurbishing its facilities.

Nice hotel but have some basic issues that shouldn’t be happening..
Reviewed By Arif_Ibrahim68We stay one nite at this hotel after our trip to Pulau Redang. This is an old hotel but I believe it was refurbished recently. Hence, the hotel are in pretty good condition and looks nice including the rooms. We do have a number of not-so-good comments on this hotel: - check-in and check-out processes were quite cumbersome. It took way too long during check-in to get us the rooms we booked months ago. During check-out, somehow the credit card line or something was not working and we had to tried again and again to use our card. - no towels were available in the room when we first checked in into the room. Have to wait for a while until the housekeeping was able to provide some towels. - our room and other rooms in the same row as ours, suffered few blackouts during our stay. Everytime it happened, it will take 5 to 10 min to get back the electricity supply to our room. Other than the above, we don’t have any other issues with the hotel. This is still probably the best hotel in Kuala Terengganu but the above points which I highlighted should not be happening at a hotel such as Primula.

Bad meal during quarantine
Reviewed By NJ12578As we are on pandemic, most hotels are close and only open for quarantine station. I have stayed here for 14 days quarantine due to new business SOP. Meals were provided 3x per day. The problem was, most time of the meals comprising plain rice with 'same' dishes circling around 3 days period. And worst, the fishes that has been used were waaay ages. Maybe already in the freezer for months and suddenly used to cook and give to the people staying there. If there was any fried noodles, you don't expect it to be proper fried noodles as it is only consist of noodles and small vege. No chicken/meat/fishball or what so ever. Only plain fried noodles. What a mess an ruin the day if you start the day, having that kind of breakfast. We paid for the stay. It's 14 days!! And with hotel industry become alive again, don't expect you can have better profit while giving such service. Just to give suggestion, as a QS (quarantine station) you should come out with idea of giving list of meals (hotel can provide) to the customer so that they can tick-the-box, of what they want to eat for the whole period. So this can avoid meals been throw away in the garbage.

Our resort is just re-opened it's business from End of April 2013 onwards. Highly appreciated not to focus us as a 4-5 star resort. Everyday we are improvise towards the services to satisfy our guest. We strongly believe & inform our guest not to have a high expectation on us. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenient cause.
Bad Experience!
Reviewed By Jmy RI am so disspointed with the very bad services from yr team. In term of facilities, and arrangements of transportation from jetty. Yr facilities like wifi is not helpful at all. Yr toilet at lobby is very dirty. For the price you charged us absolutely NOT WORTH IT!! The food is like 1 star hotel. The towel in room is like RM50 per night hotel. Paid RM1800 for these kind of facilities and services. Waited for transportation waited 30-40 minutes at jetty n hotel. I really dont recommend anythg good at yr place. I expect more for this price at least good hospitality and im house food and towels. But all are dispointing!!
