Reviewed By TadejO3Apartments Salinera. What can I say. They rob you for 120 € per night !!!! If it weren't for the vouchers, I wouldn't pay even € 50 for what they offer. Dilapidated, outdated, surroundings untidy. They have not invested anything in the surroundings and the apartments, in my opinion, since they were built. All overgrown, a bunch of weeds around ....

Reviewed By pepcaStayed a night for a conference that was also held in a hotel. Wi-fi worked well, food was good. My room was big but but without a desk. Presuming the staff knew we were there for a conference/business, they could have provided a room with a desk. Many of us had to work in the evening as well and a space for a laptop is a must. There's a garage for some cars which may be very handy during hot Summer.

Reviewed By 805aljazbWe asked for water at lunch and they didnt want to serve it to us, saying "we don't serve only water". Even though we ordered bevereged in all the meals so far. Also room was outdated and not close to what was shown on website. Location is really nice. And everything was clean.

Buffet dinner and breakfast, which can also be enjoyed on the terrace. A richly varied summer à la carte menu at Restaurant Laguna. Reviewed By ptrataI stayed in the renovated apartment of Hotel Laguna with my family. The apartment was very spacious and very well equipped. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There a lot of thematic hiking trails and sights around Strunjan, so it's perfect for active holidays. The pool in the nearby hotel was included in price.

Reviewed By LWSALBLike: - the Salinera resort (which is part of Benardin group) has various villa's on the grounds, and this one is closest to sea and pool. Many others are up the hill. - very spacious one-bedroom flat (room 1 has double bed and a bunted, so sleeps 4 in one room) with kitchenette and lovely balcony with pool view. - though like everywhere there is a rock coast and cement beach front, this one has large park like garden, which makes it nicer. - private grounds, so very safe, especially for little kids - indoor pool. In early May outdoor one was still closed. - lovely and helpful receptionist Note: - the main hotel building has a socialist feel about it with old fashioned furniture, impersonal restaurant (where you sit at same table every day if you get package) and attracts larger crowd of older people. - There are no other places, restaurants or shops in walking distance (unless you walk 50 min), so prepare to drive. Would not recommend for teens or others who need to roam. - you can drop your luggage at the villa, but then you need to park back at the hotel - breakfast and dinner 7 euro each (3.50 for young kids) and since there is nothing else there, consider booking in advance. Needs to improve: - we had some ants in the kitchen - cleaner only came after we asked at reception, did not respond to hanging cleaner card on door - entrance to Villa Maia is on ground floor through a very unwelcoming hall that looks like a cellar. - some restaurant staff seemed uninterested and many speak poor English. If you all get up to get food they can clear table, so we always had one of stay ... - no mayonaise with fries :-(

Reviewed By daddyreviewsThe hotel offers very nice room, with good bathroom and nice, comfortable beds. The view was bad because we got the view of rocks behind our hotel. But despite that everything else was spot on. The food was good and tasty and the staff friendly. The hotel is near a road, that’s why it is a bit noisy sometimes. In conlusion if you are near and need a hotel I suggest this one.

Reviewed By merlilaCsodálatos helyen található meg ez az apartamház. A néni szuper kedves és segítőkész, mindig ott volt, hogy segítsen. Remek volt a kilátás a jól felszerelt apartmanból. Parkolóhelyek is rendben voltak, gyönyorű kertje van?, ahová érdemes reggel kinézni. A strand kb 15 percre van gyalog. Az odatalálás kissé nehéz volt, de a hölgy készségesen segít, ha úgy adódna. Csak ajánlani tudom!

Nice and cozy location but rooms could be more comfortable
Reviewed By 351bj_rnrOn the plus side is the location and nice surroundings. The atmosphere is relaxing and well suited for families or others looking for a quiet time. Taking a walk to the nearby beach through the pine trees is soothing for the soul. But the so called "villas" are actually very small bungalows. At checkin we were actually recommended to upgrade to a larger room as we were two adults and two kids. This was fortunate but even this room was not very big and it also has no AC. Not so fortunate was the additional cost of a couple of hundred euros for five nights... To get AC you have to stay in the main hotel building which is rated with 4 stars and not 3 as the villas.

Villas Oljka, Cipresa, Mirta, Pinja and Sivka - Located close to Hotel Svoboda, the five villas have standard double rooms, each with a toilet, shower, hairdryer, telephone, minibar, satellite TV, and a radio. Every room has either a balcony or a terrace. There are 46 rooms in villas. Linkup with Hotel Svoboda - Guests staying at the villas, which are located only 150 metres from Hotel Svoboda, have their meals at Hotel Svoboda's restaurant and have free entry to the hotel pools. The rooms afford pleasant accommodation to families as well. All the rooms have easy access for prams and pushchairs. There are tennis and basketball courts and a miniature golf course nearby. There is a children's playground at the beach, and a children's club is open during school holidays and the summer months.
I love it
Reviewed By kaja321I have stayed in their villas one week in September 2019. The food is very good, entertaiment in very nice, location is beautiful. You have many nice things to see around. You can walk to Portorož, to a cross, to a church, ... Even outside was not summer any more I did go to swim at the see. The only thing I didnt love is : The rooms are not too clean. I hope byy next year it will be better.

Reviewed By seveneleven2010Stayed here several times this year and it has always been a pleasure - amazing view, nice people, good price, near Portorož and Piran. Nearby some good restorants, rooms very clean. Parking near the entry. Breakfast really nice and richt, with view of the see and view of the sunrise in the sea.
