Reviewed By garyaugsEs ist ein wunderschönes Oktoberwochenende im Casa mia gewesen. Schon der Empfang ist sehr freundlich gewesen. Und gerade diese Freundlichkeit und die große Aufmerksamkeit die einem Gast hier geboten wird hat sich durch das ganze Wochenende gezogen. Das Zimmer ist sehr geräumig und nett eingerichtet gewesen. Und endlich ein großes Bad wo man sich nicht überall die Ellenbogen anhaut. Das Frühstücksbuffet erfüllt alle Erwartungen, übertrifft diese teilweise noch, wenn man bedenkt, dass es eigentlich "nur" eine Pension ist. Das ganze Gebäude und der Garten machen einen sehr gepflegten und sauberen Eindruck. Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Great hotel for the overnight traveler

Although we have no family living there now, I took the opportunity to visit the town over the weekend during a recent business trip that took me to Prague. The hotel is modestly equipped, but more than sufficient, highly affordable and very clean. The staff speaks some English and with the help of Google Translate, we were able to effectively communicate to register, order meals, check-out, etc. We had dinner in the adjacent restaurant our first evening and our room came with breakfast the following morning. Being of German descent and having some connection to the area I asked for a meal to be considered local/regional. The waitress was not only helpful, but excited to share the culinary aspects of the local culture. I was served potatoes cooked in beef broth, sautéed mushrooms, and a soft fresh cheese akin to cottage cheese, but smooth in texture. It was garnished with freshly chopped onion. It was outstanding, but the portion size more than I could handle. Having not eaten everything, I fear that the kitchen staff thought that I did not care for the meal. Breakfast the following morning included a semi-hard boiled egg (served under a stocking-cap to keep it warm), a selection of sliced meats and cheeses, fresh juice, fruit selections, old world breads, and strong coffee. We also failed to consume all that was offered for breakfast. This was a great hotel stay for an American who speaks no German. The staff was friendly, patient and very accommodating, despite our difficulty in communication.

Poor reception service
Reviewed By muluscutWe didn't get the room we have reserved via Booking.com. It was not prepared in time. A dark humid room has been offered instead a room with balkony, which we booked. We didn't agree and suddenly another tiny room without balcony appeared. We get no information about services provided at the hotel. There was impossible to pay by a credit card. The receptionist at a greasy, sweat-drenched T shirt (3 days the same) demanded only cash payment, although there No luggage room. The hotel ist shabby. Not recommended.
