Food taste is good ; breakfast various. Your team FNB Gadis , Uswatun,Sefira dan chef Didik and Gunarto is very helpfull , Dina and Calvin at Reception is very warm and helpfull . Special for Pak Bima Security is very friendly and helpfull , overall is awesome Team ???

the food was good, but the room didnt meet the coziness value
Reviewed By rusmayadiit was just for a quick nap for 7 of my family members before going to another city at the next day, but my bad impression for the room was not the size of the room, but the way that they don't maintain the wall, toilet and the shower room part. i think my room needs a floor replacement, a shower cabin replacement,wall repainting and better lighting.

Disappointed with Room Allocation
Reviewed By ColmolungBad first impression with the room allocation. Booked 4 rooms (3 superior and 1 deluxe), but we ended up on 3 different floors. In fact, there is only 1 superior room on each floor. Even when we were willing to pay an upgrade, the receptionist was not able to fulfill our request to allocate us on the same floor or at least on 2 floors. The bedroom is clean dominated with dark color. Sometimes we have troubles in opening the door of room 502 using the key card. It seems the lock installation & door alignment were not quite right. The breakfast menu is quite variative with the standard taste. The service in breakfast room is good. The positive side of our stay was only the hotel location. Lawang Sewu historic sight was 4 minutes walk. DP mall rear entry was just across the street from the hotel.

Reviewed By rtan8899The hotel is actually quite good. The room is quite spacious, well managed, comfy mattras. However, we were shocked to find many small cockroaches in the bathroom and also in the bedroom. I hope the hotel manager will take a serious action to overcome this problem.

Reviewed By hildatambunThe room was clean, neat, and I think the bathroom wins here cuz it's hella spacious. I love that. It's also near to the downtown of Semarang so it will be great for you. We (3 girls) were actually coming back from Simpang Lima to the hotel on foot for apprx. 15 mins and it's worth calorie-burning.

Hotel with a great potential but low standard of maintenance and house keeping
Reviewed By erwinelias1975I stayed in Ibis Semarang Simpang Lima on the first week of March 2022. The hotel has a prime location with shopping venues and eateries are only a few steps away. Staff is super friendly, trying to take care thw guests' needs. I arrived with friends on a bike trip and they offered us bike valet service, ensuring that our bicycles are stored indoor in a secure place. The room is spacious, for business hotel standard. Despite of the positive aspects, there is an unforgivable inconvenience to staying guests. The maintenance and house keeping are terrible (see photos). This is the worst Accor accomodation I've ever stayed in term of cleanliness. I hope the operator of this hotel pay special attention to this. When this is improved, the hotel has a lot of potential to attract guests.

The guest relations manager Angeline was very attentive and most professional. Checking in was quick and easy. The restaurant food was superb. Relaxing by the beautiful pool was a highlight. I travel a lot internationally and the Tentrum, Semarang is one of the best hotels I have stayed. I strong recommend to anyone wanting the best quality accommodation. Next week I have 4 more guests arriving and have booked them 1 suite and 3 deluxe rooms. It is a honour to have my business partners stay in the most luxurious hotel with such excellent service as the Tentrem, Semarang.

Need improvement in reservation technology
Reviewed By SalomoAThis is a clean and nice hotel, located a bit far from Simpang Lima Semarang. The room is nice, with hot water flowing, no smoking odor room, and cool AC. However the hotel reservation system through the MyHorison website, needs more improvement. When I made a reservation through the MyHorison website, I didn't receive a confirmation number through my email, but only three lines messages confirming that I have successfully make the reservation (without mentioning the confirmation number) and a suggestion to contact a whatsapp number if I hadn't receive another email confirming my payment after 30 minutes. Waited for more than 30 mins, I didn't receive the confirmation number, then I contacted the whatsapp number plus whatsapp number of this specific hotel. They need hours to send me my room reservation confirmation number, and when they finally did, the confirmation showed my reservation was "unpaid" (while actually I did pay the room using my credit card). On the check-in date, I gave the print out of the short email and the room confirmation with unpaid status to the receptionist. She took picture of those papers, and asked for a certain number from me, which I didn't have, so I gave her an sms message from my credit card that showed I have paid the transaction. She took picture of my sms from my mobile phone and finalized the process, and gave me the key to my room. From this story you can learn that the reservation process until I got my room was very very painful and stressful. This hotel definitely has to learn from other hotel on how to upgrade their technology for their painless reservation process.
