Downgraded room standard
Reviewed By 403beritdFamily tour with 4 couples. Had book 4 Spa-superior rooms near the Wellness center. We we checked in they had changed /updated computer system and our booking was changed to normal hotel rooms by their mistake! The reception staff was not able to do any thing and we got 4 double rooms as far as possible from the Wellness center on the 2nd floor in the building on the other side of the street. They did not offer a lower room rate - we had to ask for it. We ask for a compensation and they offer us 10€ each person for drink in the restaurant. Another thing; the staff at the wellness center scolded the adults as if they were children and accused us of pouring water on the floor, even though it was the pool that had run over due to too much water in the pool. This was our second and last stay at this hotel.

Akzent chain nice
Reviewed By SureshDenmarkThis hotel is now one of the Akzent chain hotels, and is pretty good. Although the room settings and parking etc gives a feel of a kind of motel, but the place is very nice. Rooms are comfortable and spacy - but no in-room coffee/tea making possibility. The restuarant was excellent - both for dinner and for the fantastic breakfast. Nice location overseeing water and marina, very friendly staff, and good over all atmosphere - highly recommended.

Reviewed By Mac54LinWe stopped here by chance, and it was great! Very clean and fresh rooms with nice design and everything you need, not least comfortable beds. Lovely breakfast as well, and several restaurants close by. Friendly staff.

Reviewed By karol452I was expecting a lot more at this hotel. I found the room to be very basic. There is no soap or shampoo or face cloths. Each room is given a bottle of body wash. You have to pay extra for a room with a view of the ocean/see. The breakfast was on the 5th floor. Breakfast consisted of eggs(hard boiled and scrambled), bacon, bread, fruit, yogurt, cheese. You can also order an omellete. The hotel is central right on the promenade. One thing I found interesting about the room was that there was no end tables. There were curtains in the middle of the room around the bed on 2 sides. The bathroom is different. There is a sink, toilet and shower. However it is all glass and not privacy. The only privacy is if you close the door to the toilet. There are no balconies with the rooms. On the 5th floor you can sit outside and have a drink.

The restaurant is fantastic with both casual and fine dinning - the catfish is extraordinary! - as well as good beer and wine (although limited selection!) Best recommenedations for a North Schleswig stay!

Very good hotel and location
Reviewed By olep938The room was fine. Also the restaurant with German food. Also breakfast was solid. But the location is exceptionel, with fjord view from the restaurant. We took the path to town, through the old Holm.

Reviewed By Maiken SThe hotel is good for an overnight stay. The room was quite small, but it was expected and ok. The bathroom is located in the hall and shared with the other rooms. The beds were really hard and my back hurt in the morning. The breakfast though was excellent! The staff had laid out a varied breakfast on our table and everything was delicious! Kind, helpful staff.

Overnight stay in Schweslig
Reviewed By mcelis2016The building at first sight and location along a busy road frightened me a bit but the room we had made largely up for that. A very large room, almost a suite actually with a separate sittingroom and kitchenette, simply but nicely decorated and very clean! There is no noise at all (when closing the windows) from the road. The beds are very good. Large bathroom with some amenities. Wifi available and stable. Free parking behind the house. Only minor remark: when arriving outside check-in hours there is no one to indicate where and what but we managed with the instructions on the wall and in mail. No elevator, so some exercice to get up luggage to the second floor which did not bother us but could be a problem for elder, less mobile people. Nevertheles very recommendable address at a competetive price fir the space and comfort offered.

Our hotel lies 5 minutes away from the Schlei with its nice sandy beach. The harbour, city and the museums can be reached by foot. We offer well furnished single and double bedrooms. All rooms have shower, WC, TV.
Maybe they don’t like to run a hotel?
Reviewed By DudeattheDudeRanchI got the impression that the people running the hotel don’t like to be in the hotel business ... or maybe they don’t like people. The smell is intresting though, somewhere inbetween dirt and rot ... maybe if they restaure the hotel (don’t buy the beds at IKEA this time) and employed some service minded people ... or maybe not !!!
