The Hotel AMAUDO , built in colonial style overlooks the bay "Anse à la Barque" situated at a short distance from the city center of Saint-François. Forteen Rooms have a full sea view and are all very well equipped (Double bed 180 x 200, air conditioning, flat screen TV, safe, Fridge, hairdryer, microwave, living room on the terrace, Wifi in the bedroom...). The only difference is the surface. Breakfast space In front of the sea and surrounded by well arranged gardens, this charming hotel is a haven of peace and comfort. Reviewed By carolkR6757OLBeautiful setting. The pools and views are stunning, but I think it was a different hotel before the pandemic. The breakfast was disappointing, no bar area, you can't even buy bottled water. It is just a hotel. If you are after solitude in a beautiful setting, then The Amaudo is for you.

Bwa (bois) chic? Corrugated iron chic?
Reviewed By paulherbert49From our room "côté golf" we looked at the corrugated iron roof of the lobby, two rows of parked cars, the Avenue de l'Europe, another row of parked cars and - indeed - the golf resort. The côté piscine - swimming pool - is better, corrugated iron, but no cars. Our room was about 15 square meters plus 5 square meters balcony. It was kept very clean by the housekeeping ladies. They were very friendly, same as the two barmen. The breakfast is average, mini croissants and pains au chocolat a bit stale. The place is very noisy, one night we were entertained by some singing drunks at 1 in the morning, a false fire alarm at 3 and some motor bikers at 5:30 hours. In the mornings there is a stand of KREYOL HORIZON where you can book trips. We found out that you can book these trips directly with the skippers at the marine - and cheaper. In our case, the two young people who were running the stand tried very hard, but in vain - they could not even fill in the booking form properly.

Faultless but you will need a car
Reviewed By BrushMit's very unusual that you come across an establishment as perfect as this one. It's just lovely as are the hosts and it feels as if eveything is new. Add to that the tranquillity and spaciousness of the property and you have something really special. It was by far the best place we stayed at in Guadeloupe and it would be my first choice if we went back, and gicen the size of the island you could pretty much base yourself here and see everything. The only caveat I would put on it is that you really need a car as there are really no eating options within walking distance - yes you can walk into town but in the heat it's not much fun.

Family cottage comprising 4 bungalows, one for two persons (Sapotille) and 3 duplex bungalows for 4 or 5 people (Mango, Papaya, Coco). The cottage has a situation and an exceptional environment. Surrounded by vegetation, it's an ideal place to relax and enjoy family holidays in peace. 150m from the sea, 15 min walk or 5 min drive from the most beautiful beaches of Guadeloupe (the Salines beach) full of fish and coral, remember your fins, masks and snorkels. For most types, you are 10 minutes walk from the beach Tarare. Local shops and several restaurants are within 2 minutes walk from the cottage. Also not far from civilization, you are 10 minutes drive from the center of St. Francis to do your shopping, go golfing, play casino, enjoy water sports or simply stroll on the marina and go shopping. The house consists of 4 fully self-catering bungalows, a swimming pool and a large garden of 2000 sqm. Check out the photos and feel free to contact us

Reviewed By 182sandrocThank you Marie and Mathieu (Luca and Manon as well) for our wonderful stay. This is a wonderful place to stay. The cottage we stayed (family of 4) was very clean and you could see that it has been newly refurbished with a great taste. Marie and Mathieu were always here to help us (day trip advices, nice and friendly restaurants, where to rent a car, or finding car seats and buggy). The gite atmosphere is very quiet and relaxing (especially when on a long chair by the pool, watching humming birds). The pointe des chateaux as some wonderful beaches and it is at your door step (I will recomend la grande anse des Saline if you like scuba-diving). Merci encore Marie et Mathieu.

Beautiful place and friendly staff
Reviewed By MayaG14We loved our stay at the cocotel. The room is very neat and new. I loved sitting outside on the porch surrounded by green. The swimming pool is really nice and the jacuzzi was the cherry on top. The staff was really friendly.

Une chambre qui vous offre une belle vue de sa terrasse sur la campagne guadeloupéenne et de l'autre côté, sur une piscine à débordement. Cela vous tente ? Alors Flo et Yannick vous attendent dans leurs 6 chambres de 25 m². Elles sont décorées avec raffinement et équipées d'un lit de 160 x 200 cm, d'une climatisation, d'une douche à l'italienne, d'un W.C., d'un sèche-cheveux, de linge de lit et de serviettes de toilette, de draps de bain, d'une T.V. à écran plat de 122 cm, d'un coffre-fort, d'un mini-bar, et d'une WIFI gratuite. Il ne reste plus que 80m pour plonger dans le lagon de Saint-François : c'est un peu ça le paradis, non ?

Reviewed By _H8801LMThis hotel does not correspond to 4 stars, living conditions correspond to a maximum of 3 stars, I do not understand why your company offers it as a 3 star hotel, this is a clear hoax! Check out at 10 a.m., very far from the sea, very high cost-250 euros per room! We don’t understand by what criteria this hotel was awarded 4 stars! This is not a hotel, but an ordinary family pension. This married couple owns two similar houses, which for some reason we do not classify in 4 and 5 stars.
