Angenehmes Hotel mit nettem Service
Reviewed By Andrea LDieses Hotel liegt genau an einer größeren Straße. Aber wenn man ein Zimmer nach hinten zum Hof hinaus bekommt, ist dies zu verschmerzen. Die Zimmer sind groß genug und besitzen einen Balkon. Um das Hotel gibt es auch einen kleinen Weg und ein paar nette Plätze im Grün unter Bäumen. Auch wenn nicht groß, war dies sehr gepflegt. Leider war in dem kleinen Teich noch kein Wasser, aber ich denke nach Corona kommt das jetzt alles wieder. Der Service des Hauses ist sehr gut, wir wurden von sehr nettem Personal empfangen und bedient. Zur Ankunft konnten wir bei der Hitze einen wunderbaren Erdbeer Eisbecher genießen. Auch das Abendessen war sehr gut. Sowohl geschmacklich, als auch fürs Auge. Wir hatten jeweils den Spargelsalat mit den Drillingen, einmal mit und einmal ohne Schinken. Leider muss das Abendessen zur Zeit noch bis 19 Uhr erledigt sein. Das wird sich aber sicher bald wieder ändern. Die junge Frau war aber so nett uns noch mit Weingläsern und Eiswürfeln auszustatten. So konnten wir den Abend noch schön bei einem Gläschen Wein auf dem Balkon ausklingen lassen. Vielen Dank! Das einzige was bei mir gar nicht gut ankommt ist das Frühstück. Das empfand ich als sehr spartanisch. Als erstes nur weiße Brötchen, da habe ich den ganzen Tag einen aufgeblähten Bauch. Kein Brot oder dunkle Brötchen, Nichts frisches, keine Tomate, Gurke oder ähnliches. Es gab genau 2 Äpfel und 2 Birnen und Obstsalat aus der Büchse. Ehrlich...ich hasse dieses Zuckerwasser mit was buntem darin. Es gab Wurst und Käse und ....wieder erfreulich-warme Eier. Das Frühstück ist der Grund warum ich 2 Punkte Abzug gebe.

Reviewed By ge0rge_angI have reserved a double room, for 2 adults, 6 or 7 weeks before the trip. On the day we stated as the beginning, I have called at 5 PM and clearly said that we will come, but a little late, say 10:30 - 11 PM. They said: no problem, you can come just anytime, be loud and we will open the door. I speak very good german language, so there is no room for misunderstanding. At 11 PM, as we arrived, gues what? The boss looked to us like we were aliens. They had already rented our RESERVED and CONFIRMED room, trying hard to say to me that they have called me during the day....come on man... Normally we should go away, but during Frankfurt fair it is impossible to find any free room in a radius of 100 km from Frankfurt... They put us to sleep in an old room, grandmother's room I think...everything old an smelly, with the promiss from the boss that the first night will be free of charge, because of the inconvenience they created. Next day we got our room. At the end of the 3-night stay, they charged...3 nigths, with a little discount, than the breakfast upon (even on their website it says breakfast included)...we have paid only 10 Euros less. We have leaved the location with a bitter taste. +: very easy to acces Darmstadt and Frankfurt (town and airport) over the A5, room and bath clean enough. -: continental breakfast, frozen bread backed, the house smells like an old "Gasthaus", no parking (if you are lucky, you find one place free just across the street. in one evening we didn't), no decent restaurant nearby to walk to. For the next trips in Germany, I will try to avoid those kind of so called hotels, old "Gasthaus" a little bit maked-up and charged as hotel.

A calm and simple stay
Reviewed By kkonstantinos_00No extravaganzas here. The hotel is simple, nothing overwhelmingly amazing or bad, my single room was spacious, clean and tidy. The breakfast was complete without any bad or good surprises. The location is perfect; hotel is built literally in the woods but still 10' from the city center. Staff is very polite and eager to help you with anything you might come up to. A pleasant, peaceful stay overall.

BEWARE !!!
Reviewed By MojeeHotel has changed names and changed hands. Now called Agnus. Travelled here for business. First night in room with little to no bedding and curtains that didnt close. asked to be moved and was put into a room on a floor that was empty and strewn with rubbish as was the room. Was moved again to an OK room. Felt very unsafe and service was an abomination.
