A real gem of a hotel
Reviewed By Richard AWhat a great little gem of a hotel. Fed up with staying in the large chain hotels? well this is the answer. A family run hotel where you are treated as a special guest. Rooms are clean and adequate. On departure I needed to leave early before breakfast time so Svetlana (owner) made me a pack-up breakfast to take with me on my travels. I loved staying here!

Great value hostell
Reviewed By FarbrorblaVery nice and clean hostell in Ronneby giving great value for the money. Their breakfast had everything we wanted juice, cereals, yoghurt, boiled eggs, cheese, selection of bread. Easy parking outside makes unloading simple. Their personell gave excellent advice on possible dining for the evening. Will recommend this place to friends going this way.

Peace like heaven
Reviewed By ma mIf you are looking for serenity and peace, this could be the right place for you. Ronneby is a very small town with about 13-15 thousand people and this hotel is literally in the Brunnsparken, a big park with gardens and woods from different regions. They have two Villas both are quite old but rooms are very well renovated. The rooms and toilets are not that big but they are still nice and very clean. This can be specially fun for the families as they have a big common kitchen. You have an amazing lovely view of the Brunnsparken from the entrance side of the hotel. The park is amazing, and there is a small museum with free admission in the park. I would have given it 6 starts if I could!

VERY basic but nothing more
Reviewed By meredingWe visited this place with our 5 kids in the ages between 0 and 13 years and the weather was perfect for outdoor swimming! The only reason we selected Ronneby due to corona. We had two standard rooms but both toilets were smelling VERY bad. Nothing helped. We could not brush our teeth in there. The food was ok in the evening but almost the same two nights in a row. The breakfast was horrible. On on our last day the outdoor bath was closed (which we already had paid for) and they promised a refund - they wrote it on the sign into the outdoor pools. We talked with the reception and they promised us to get back to us regarding this when the manager was back a few days after. We emailed with them but they then denied a refund. We could have used the indoor spa instead. But that was NOT what we paid for and with corona that was simply not an option with all of the other hotel guests then using the spa all at the same time. Simply not ok when we had paid for outdoor pool facilities! A HUGE disappointment for the kids who had been waiting for their last day to swim!

Reviewed By Eagle_dkCharming and quiet little hotel with patina in the ”Blekan” area consisting of spectacular old villas from late 19th century. A kind of old ”sommerpension” atmosphere. Stayed in a nice standard room on 1st floor with view to Ronnebyån. Low ceiling as often seen in older houses but quite cosy and comfortable. Bathroom functional but could need an upgrade. Nice breakfast served in the cosy "good old days" sitting room & veranda with view to Ronnebyån. Very friendly hosts.

Impressive!
Reviewed By Natalie GWe stayed at the Ronneby City Hotel as a base for my husband's attendance at Sweden Rock. The room was larger than expected, with an extra living area which inclded a mini fridge. A fan was provided inside the room in anticipation of the unseasonable rise in temperture for this time of year. The room was very clean. Staff were very friendly. Tea, coffe and fruit was available at all hours. In terms of location, the hotel is across the road from the railway station (1st photo) but noise was not a problen. It was also a great base from which to visit, on foot, Ronneby Park (2nd) and the historic centre of town, including a 12th century church (3rd).
