Don't hesitate to stay here!

Booked a somewhat trip to Patagonia and was happy to find the Weskar. Unfortunately, the pandemic started and everything was up in the air. I had booked several hotels throughout South America for the trip and ended up losing money on some reservations that wouldn't accommodate the uncertainty. The Weskar, however, worked with me and despite multiple rebookings, we were finally able to come enjoy our stay! The accommodations were lovely. We booked a superior room with fjord view for the first two nights. The bed was comfortable and all amenities were well appointed. The view was to die for (see pic). The bathroom is not in a separate room (toilet is), but everything is functional and quite comfortable. Wifi strong in lobby, but not available in rooms (kind of a blessing!). Breakfast had standard offerings of the area - some cold cuts, cheese, toast, pastries, coffee, but more than adequate. The kitchen would also make you eggs to order, including omelettes. We had dinner there once. My steak was huge. While it's not a destination restaurant, but for the convenience, it's well worth the reasonable price it. Yes, the hotel is outside of town - but that's the amazing thing that makes it much more serene! What made our experience amazing was the use of their bikes! It's such an easy ride into town along the water and a great way to get around. They were available most days, but when they ran out one morning, we walked into town. It's very doable and only take a few minutes. Not your thing? Then just take an inexpensive cab, which the front desk will call for you. All the staff was amazing and friendly. I really felt they wanted to ensure I was enjoying myself without being obtrusive. We were able to store our luggage while we trekked in TDP - which was a nice convenience. When we returned late, we were welcomed back warmly and our room was even bigger with a separate bathroom. I would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend it to friends. It's truly special.

We stayed at this hotel as part of an organised tour and we were very surprised that this hotel was so comfortable and nice. The room are adecuade, the shower is a bit small but that didn't bother us. The breakfast is very plentiful and offers a nice variety of fruits, yogurts, they prepare eggs to order. The location is the best part, within walking distance to downtown with all the shopping and restaurants. If you stay at this place you will not be disappointed.

Great place!

I was originally offered a nice cabana but when I told the owner I had problems with stairs, he immediately changed me to a room that was entirely on the ground floor. I was travelling alone, but had a two-bedroom apartment (a double and a single) completely supplied with everything, including private bath, full kitchen, flat screen TV, dining table and everything else I could have possibly needed. man who checked me in, late in the evening did not speak English, but the daytime attendant was fluent and very helpful. Tip: If you pay with cash in Chilean Pesos, you can avoid the 19% VAT. Not true with credit card. Note: The bathroom was a tight fit and could use an upgrade. Not a real problem, but worth mentioning. Bring your own bar of soap! Everything else was supplied.

Good but not great

Antares Patagonia booked us here before and after our O Circuit trek. Styling is decidedly modern but reminiscent of a college dormitory. Rooms were clean but small. Breakfast was good but there was a logjam at the coffee machine tucked into the corner of the buffet table. The heated drying rack in the bathroom was a plus after a day of hiking in the rain.

What an amazing gem with awesome hosts!

What an amazing stay in Puerto Natales! This is definitely a hidden gem with the most friendly host who built this themselves. Loved the attention to detail, the personal service and the super clean rooms and amenities. I would definitely stay here again. The curio shop is also one of the better ones in town. Toore Patagonia is close to everything in town - so many restaurants in walking distance. We loved all the recommendations from the hosts and they even gave us a bowl of freshly homemade mayonnaise (as we arrived asking to direct us to the closest grocer) :). The stay was very affordable - excellent value for money. We could park our rental car in the street right outside the property - super safe.

Excellent value for nice hotel

Reviewed By depazed

This hotel is about a 4 block walk from the bus station and it only took us about 10 minutes. Checkin was very simple and the guy was very nice and explained everything including giving us directions to the local supermarket. The room is very nice and impressive for the money spent. It has faux wood flooring all throughout first and second floors, a small comfortable living room with a small tv, there's not too much tv cable channels but who comes here to watch tv? It has a small kitchenette with stove and refrigerator and table with 4 chairs. The bathroom is super nice and good water pressure. The second floor has two bedrooms, one with a full size bed and the other with two twin beds. It was close to their winter so it was cold outside but very warm inside. Heating of the whole unit was not a problem. You could tell it was recently built as it was very modern looking and super clean. We took off our shoes inside because we didn't want to track any kind of dirt or mud on the clean floors. We took a day tour of Torres del Paine and the tour bus was able to find the hotel and pick us up from the front entrance. It also included a free continental breakfast which was nice. The wifi was spotty at times and other times slow but still not bad. Do not expect to stream any movies or do any work, but again who comes here to work or stream movies? Great hotel for the price!
