We, Eva and Ruxlan, run our Casa Particulares in the cozy village of Puerto Esperanza. Here you are away from the tourist crowds and can discover and enjoy the Cuban life. There are two rooms with shared bathroom, a kitchen, living room and private terrace where you can enjoy life in Puerto Esperanza. Eva is responsible for the gastro-nomic food, she conjures up wonderful meals where nothing is missing (insider tip: Eva's Hummer). We also help you with excursions or other organizational matters. Reviewed By luisiranf2022A wonderful and cozy place, Ruxlam and Eva are very kind, respectful and attentive hosts, providing a pleasant family atmosphere, the food is exquisite with a variety of offers including seafood delicacies. There is no time for boredom with Ruxlam and Eva you will dance Cuban music and have an excellent time. I stayed 3 nights last May and there is no better place in Puerto Esperanza than Villa Mar y Esperanza and I highly recommend it.

Casa particluar - El Pescador (The fisherman) is a nice family run homestay where you can relax in a family atmosphere, with a comfortable and good vibe, located only 100 meters from the Caribbean sea. We offer one private room with a double and one single bed, ventilator, air-conditioning, a private fridge, and a private bathroom with hot shower and WC. On the terrace you can enjoy the sun.

Reviewed By destoastWe absolutely LOVED staying at Siviady's place. The room was clean and comfortable, there was a fan and a/c unit in the room. The room has a lock on it so you know your belongings are safe while you are away. A taxi to Vinales will cost you 25 CUC, so I would recommend staying local and checking out what Puerta Esperanza has to offer. We decided to stay local and explore the area rather than go to Vinales. We are really glad that we did! We rode the community bus to Santa Lucia for 15 CUC. Santa Lucia is a beautiful beach with crystal clear waters, a must-see! Another day we took a horse and carriage to see the landscape. We ate fruits from the trees, swam in the ocean where we were provided with a scuba mask to see the starfish and sea urchins below! We also met local farmers, one of which rolled cigars for us. Siviady's organized everything for us, which was very helpful as most people speak Spanish and not English. She is an amazing cook and her family is very nice. We were so sad to leave!

Reviewed By Francis HWe passed by Puerto Esperanza and dined at Villa Dora in August 2018. Mrs Dora was very excited to tell us that she would leave Cuba for the first time and would visit Lorent, France in 2013. We returned in August 2018 only to learn that Mme Dora passed away earlier in the year. Her daughters have a photo album of their mum's holiday in France. They prepare the same most delicious lobster we have tried in Cuba.

Reviewed By Jan GSehr schönes Gästehaus mit super freundlichen Leuten. Hatten leider nur das Vergnügen eine Nacht zu bleiben, wären beide gerne länger geblieben. Auf jeden Fall den "salsa-lobster" von maribel zu Abend essen. Der war super lecker. Empfehlenswert!
