Nice
Reviewed By npougnetPlaka is one of the best places for nice beaches and restaurants in the island. Our taxi had dufficulties to find the place. 200 m from the beach which is good to avoid noises from bars and restaurant. Place is clean and hosts are nice. TV was no working (anyway it is too small). Good value for money.

Ask for the room by the church
Reviewed By HawaiiCondoAll of Betty's studios have great views but there are two locations. The pin on Google maps is for the three older studios attached to her house. She also has a sign there on the pedestrian only street that runs uphill through the Plaka parallel to the cliff. That's where you will usually find Betty and/or her husband. The property you want though is her huge newly renovated one bedroom with two expansive terraces overlooking the Mother of God Korfiatissa Church. It is above The Art House if you are trying to find the location. Check the pics with this review. For parking I recommend dropping people and luggage off at the square in front of the Palaios Cafe and then driving back down the hill past the large free parking area and back up toward Betty's sign. There is a smaller free lot there, just before the beginning of the pedestrian only street, behind a private home where you can walk up from.

Reviewed By 178h_l_nemPiazza Castello was one of the highlights of our trip in Milos - Yiannis and his father were the kindest of all people there, always there for advice, answers, tips and opinions. The place itself is gorgeous and has a breathtaking view on the centre of Plaka, with a famous castle nearby perfect for sunset with a couple of beers, as well as a nice natury path leading to the beach at a 15-20min walk. Very quiet. Efkharisto Yiannis, until we meet again!

True hospitality in Plaka
Reviewed By Louan49First of all, it is perfectly located, just 1' walk from the center of Plaka. The parking lot is also very close so you don't have to carry your luggage around. The owners are very kind and willing to help you any way you wish. The give the best tips, where to go, where to eat, what you must visit! They also own a bakery, just downstairs, where you can have breakfast or try the sweets they bake every day. The room is spacious, super cute, has many amenities and it is cleaned daily. Highly recommended! We will come back here when we will visit Milos island again.

Charming and spacious
Reviewed By Catherine CAris is such a great host! He had lots of suggestions for making the most of our stay and working around the windy weather. The apartment was spacious, the underlit bed was cool, and it was nice to have a larger fridge and kitchen facilities. The balcony was small but sufficient. Designated parking. Vivere is in a residential neighborhood and we kind of liked that. It's a bit of an uphill walk into Plaka but we couldn't have avoided that even staying in Plaka. The extra distance to Plakes was flat. Our room (#5) was right next to the street at street level so it was noisy but not unbearably so. (We expected that.)

Reviewed By EmersonzoeWe had a fantastic stay at Chaido Studios! Lefteris and his mom were the perfect hosts and the property was beautiful. The rooms were expertly decorated , updated and comfortable. The views from our room and patio were breathtaking. And breakfast…it’s hard to describe the quantity and quality of the food! If we’re lucky enough to return to Milos in the future, we will certainly go back!

Their position gives the visitor the opportunity to enjoy the unique view of the sky and sea and discover what makes Milos so special. The complex of the apartments consists of five double studios and a traditional residence, which are characterized for their minimal beauty of Cycladic architecture and are built on the edge of the hill offering a magnificent view to the Aegean Blue.
A Bit Disappointing
Reviewed By travel919We had a mixed stay at this property. While there were some positives (good communication via email from management, help with services, central location), there were also several negatives. On the negative side, we found the rooms to be not as nice as the photos suggested (i.e. a bit of noticeable wear and tear). Also, the bathroom and particularly the shower could use significant improvement. The shower stall is not fully closed off by glass therefore the floor gets quite wet after each shower and we had to do a fair amount of drying of the floor with towels. Also we thought the price of the property was higher than the value provided - there were better values to be found elsewhere in Milos. While the views from the property are certainly very good as noted by many others, Milos is an island full of amazing views so this was not perhaps as important to us in hindsight. Overall, we thought that the reviews for this property were higher than they should be and another perspective would be helpful. We did have stays at other properties in Greece that were clearly excellent.
