Reviewed By Franz MThis is a wonderful resort, perfect for couples, families and bigger groups. A good 2 miles above the bottom of the valley, alpine chalets of different size form a little village, with stunning views of the Dachstein range opposite. Children will love all sorts of entertainment, ranging from pets (rabbits) that can be stroked, ponies that can be ridden and scooters that can be pedalled. There is a hotel and restaurant attached, with friendly and helpful staff and a little shop, which comes handy to those who have forgotten some dairies when shopping down in the valley. Great walks nearby, quite dog-friendly. Easy parking. We stayed there as a family of 9 and enjoyed every moment.

The two brothers who run it have set a surprisingly high standard and have surprised us with the quality of service, food, details and atmosphere. Enjoyed lying in the big relax room with super view of mountains. Admired and recommended!

The hotel Gut Raunerhof is situated directly on the slopes of the Reiteralm at an altitude of 1,000 meters. You will find cosy rooms and a great wellness area with adventure showers, whirlpool, ifrared cabin, suna, steam bath etc. In the hotel. Here you get great value for money! For families the hotel offers a special buffet only for children, a children's playroom and a organic farm with many animals in the pets corner.

Reviewed By Ales KWe have celebrated New Year 2015/2016 here. It was for the second time already. The reasons why we came back are excellent kitchen and servis, nice people, cleanness. Hotel is located on the slope and it works also if there in no snow on the hills around = you always get to the Reiteralm slope on your ski even if it is on artificial snow. People here just make it happen.

Reviewed By Nihat SThe quality of 1- the service, 2- the cleaning of the rooms, 3- breakfast and meals, is perfect, It has an amazing pastoral view with an historical building. It has a very good location to reach visitable places and we had a gratis card provided by the pension to visit all mountains free. People have always a smiling face and it is more then a pension but a home. Thanks for everything.

Very nice location and views
Reviewed By Ray3149We stayed here only for one night but would have liked to stay longer. The location is a little away from Schladming, about a 15 minute drive up a very windy and steep road, but the advantage is peace, quiet and spectacular views of the Dachstein range. The room was absolutely huge and so was the bathroom which included a massive shower. It was really very pleasant compared to a lot of the standard size bathrooms in many pensions where you struggle to have a decent shower because of the small size. Breakfast was very generous with all kinds of hams, cheese and breeds on offer. Juice and coffee were also provided. We took advantage of the summer card which includes many discounts and freebies including gondola rides up to Dachstein which was amazing. Definitely stay here longer if I had the chance.

Reviewed By JDNSKI1Totally disorganised - has to wait absolutely ages for the food. Service very poor. It was such a shame that we were let down - it appears that other people were served as a preference which was outrageous. Will definitely not recommend eating here.

Reviewed By Igor UThe room was spacious and comfortable. It had a balcony shared with the next door room, with a nice view. The interior was in the "light-coloured wood" style. The bathroom was big and comfortable as well. Everything is clean. Good Wi-Fi. The breakfast was good and multifarious.

Erholung pur - tolle Gegend
Reviewed By Wolfgang SDer Brandstätterhof liegt etwas abseits und bietet eine tolle Aussicht auf die Berge. Die Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und unaufdringlich. In der Pension herrscht eine angenehm ruhige und entspannte Atmosphäre. Das Essen ist reichhaltig und gut und wird täglich frisch von den Inhabern zubereitet. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß und sehr sauber. Der Bauernhof macht im Allgemeinen einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und werden diese Unterkunft wieder buchen wenn wir in der Gegend um Schladming sind.
