Best Bachelorette weekend with amazing service!
Reviewed By fionnas22My friends organized a surprise bachelorette weekend at Club Med Charlevoix. We had a fantastic getaway, the food was delicious and the staffs were so friendly and helpful! The rooms were pretty clean and modern! The village is surrounded by nature. Its really a good place for a small getaway within Canada! A few employees really went above and beyond in making our experience memorable. JP - the restaurant manager welcomed us with open arms at the buffet. He reserved a table for our big group of 12 people & he was always making sure that our glasses were not empty. Not to mention that he is great performer on the stage as well! The night show manager also took the time to celebrate my bachelorette weekend by inviting me on the stage. The staffs were great and they are the ones who made my last rodeo’s memorable! The staffs who we went hiking with were super friendly as well! My friends and I had an amazing weekend! Thanks CM Charlevoix!

No refund on deposit-COVID policy!!! Travellers Be Aware!!!
Reviewed By AandM2014Let’s state the facts: Les Sommets Charlevoix has a COVID refund policy. This policy only allows a refund if rentals are prohibited or access is blocked to the region. This policy has not changed despite a changing pandemic situation or appeals from health authorities. (Until today when they updated their website to make the policy even less accommodating) Despite roadblocks being proposed between provincial boundaries (Ontario and Quebec ) as well as between regions in Quebec.....no refund will be given for reservations made last summer. We are a family from Ontario that cannot, and should not, cross from Ontario into Quebec because of public health recommendations, travel restrictions and potential roadblocks (hence blocking access to the region) Access to the region is not possible, feasible, recommended, advisable and could possibly be illegal. We tried to be reasonable and request to simply have our reservation deferred just to be told that Les Sommets is booked solid. Check their website....they are not booked solid - the same cabin is available a few weeks later. My family, like many others has been forced to either cancel their bookings and lose their 50% deposits or pay the full amount in the hopes that they will be allowed to travel. The only glimmer of hope to receive any refund is if access to the region is blocked. The other option is to break all the rules and travel like the pandemic isn’t happening and hope there is not a road block (which there is/are) We are losing almost $1500 to do the right thing. After recent announcements from provincial authorities, Les Sommets has changed their website and policy in the last few hours as per photos below. (You will note the policy before and now) Please note the difference. Basically, forget accessing the region....the only way you will get you money back is if the police set up a road block 2 km away from their gates as you enter the Charlevoix region. The police are patrolling different regions to prevent travel...not necessarily that stretch of road. Their policy is simply tone deaf to the situation and purposefully deceitful. Please be warned. Do not book at Les Sommets.

Reviewed By Anna PRoom was fabulous with a view of the fleuve “spectacular “. Sun rise every morning. Delicious full breakfast in the dining room, service was excellent and so friendly. The owner could not have been more friendly with information and ideas. Recommend this place 10 out of 10. Not that far from Baie-Saint-Paul, 15 to 20 minutes.
