Reviewed By synergidansA thoroughly wonderful city break in every sense of the word. I was travelling with my 5 year old for a mini getaway and we loved this hotel. The decor was beautiful and really enhanced the gorgeous building, this is really important to me as is the small details that create such a relaxing and comfortable environment. The room was sumptuously decorated with huge windows and a bath tub, which is really hard to come by these days in hotel stays !. The food was also delicious and the evening meal and fika included in the price was unexpectedly good and of a very high standard . My little one really loved the cakes and pastries at high tea, which was a great touch. What really stuck me most was how family friendly this hotel was. We have stayed in many hotels advertised as family friendly and have experienced the exact opposite, for example children unwelcome in leisure areas etc which leaves a bad taste in your mouth. We loved the ability to play table tennis in the gym and the little relax area, whereby I could work out and do some yoga with my son. A huge win for us and made our stay extra special . Finally the customer service went above and beyond helping us with requests , from finding a room with a tub, to helping us navigate the city's attractions and public transport. Thanks for a great stay, we are already planning to return with the rest of the family !

Reviewed By Christian JI have stayed in Örebro over 100 times through Nordic Choice before but they were to expensive this time so I gave Elite a test. For 1.800 SEK it was nowhere near what it should be. Just look on the image outside my room and you will understand its standard. Will never ever come again. I will advice you strongly to come to this hotel. Lazy staff and very small rooms big no no

Reviewed By lbieli433175Room seemed a bit bigger in the picture but it was fine for one person, bed was comfortable, no chair to put your bags or to sit if you have a guest. Personel - nice and helpful, especially with driving through the narrow gates. Beautiful restaurant. Breakfast 6.30-9.30 (if I remember correctly). Overall happy about the stay just the hygien, old towels with holes and shower had a door halfway so water was all over the bathroom. I think that is fixable.

The restaurant has a cosy atmosphere and generous opening times, with food available to order 24 hours a day. The breakfast buffet is open between 6 am and 10 am. The hotel was refurbished in 2012. Reviewed By 720j_rnhSmall hotel with great staff. It was clean, quiet, nice breakfast and neighbouring Gustavsvik, a great waterland. Rooms are small (had a double room), but that's to be expected in this price range. We were a bandy team staying for a weekend, and it worked out great.

Room we got was perfect and close to the lift so my friend who has trouble walking did not have to go far away but just around the corner. The room was reasonable and nice, however it looked like it was an older hotel. The bathroom was nice and good too. Wifi worked well. The room had a kettle so it was nice. Ironing board and iron were also there in case you needed to iron some clothes. The room was big enough so they could place the bed a little further away from the table so that you did not have to wrap around the edge when you turned in the bed. The table could not be moved, it was stuck in the wall. Neither was possible to move the bed because on other side it was screwed bedside table. Breakfast was served in breakfast bags due to Covid-19, it was a good idea. But, there could be more to choose from, but ...

The accommodation itself is definitely not modern, but functional. The organisation of the hostel is a bit liquid where the young (mainly international) staff doesn't have too good control over the whole situation with reservations, payments, linens, food orders - but it all solves eventually. Strong recommendation to take the evening barbecue buffet - good food for a reasonable fee. The breakfast would have been better with oat porridge, but does its job. The lunch packs (shrimp wraps) were surprisingly good. The whole Tiveden area (national park) is very beatiful and I'd recommend you to experience it by foot. Why not walk in between the different hostels/B&Bs in the area. No way you should/could experience it by car.

Reviewed By basil4123Just perfect! After six days on the Bergslagsleden we arrived at the Lilla Hotellet. The service was very nice and they were very helpful. We would reconmend the place to everyone who visits Nora. They even have flags for every nation and put them in front of the rooms.
