What a find
Reviewed By G WAmazing chef, cant believe he doesn't have his own restaurant. Staff super friendly. Stayed with work colleagues and for once enjoyed a business trip. Will definitely stop there again when i am next in Nordlingen.

Reviewed By pacho972abbiamo soggiornato presso questo hotel durante una gita sulla romantische Straße. stanza pulita ma troppo rumorosa, a causa della vicinanza con una strada ad alto scorrimento. buona colazione. da rinnovare il display per poter ritirare le chiavi della stanza, praticamente sbiadito, siamo andati ad intuito. per il resto buona struttura e ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

Perfectly situated
Reviewed By LBSterlingAlthough this hotel is perfectly situated it’s a bit pricey for what you receive. The reception staff were very friendly and check in and out was good. However, the room is a bit dated. It could really do with a freshening up and also replacement of the not so white towels. The bed was very comfortable. There is no aircon. Bath soap is supplied and there is parking on site for a reasonable fee.

Reviewed By mogden9569Situated just outside the City wall, ideal for a very easy walk into the town. The rooms are bright, modern and clean, with towels and soap/shampoo provided. I stayed in a twin room with a nice balcony. The bed was comfortable, and the hotel is situated in a quiet area. Parking is provided free of charge. Breakfast was included in the price and was very good. The staff were very polite and helpful and spoke excellent English. All in all a great visit.

Old charm and value for money
Reviewed By HantsJamesWe were unlucky to arrive in Nordlingen on a weekend and with a festival at the center of the town, so we could not reach the hotel by car and had to park overnight in an underground car park for E 8.50. If we had knowledge of this in advance we would have avoided going around the narrow cobblestone street in a big car for 30 minutes swearing at the SatNav. Back to the hotel and some stupid remarks made by peoples on reviews. The building is very old so it's no surprise that the hotel is old. If you take away the creaking you take away the charm. St.-Georgs-Kirche is very closed so one has to expect to be able to hear the sound of the bells. Just investigate all this before hand next time. Our room was great, very clean, quiet and big. The bathroom even better, very modern and with a shower to die for. As the restaurant was closed due to the festival the gentlemen(owner?) in reception offered to book us in a near by restaurant, which was very good. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of food. Yes, I did hear the bell a couple of times during the night, but up to seven in the morning they are very muted and to tell the truth the sound was very comforting. All in all I would use this hotel again. Decoration may not be to everybody tastes, but then what is?

Perfect place to stay in Nordlingen
Reviewed By annmarieb278Spent 1 night as 3 adults in a triple room. The room and bathroom were a little cozy, but it worked for us. Internet didn't work in the room very well, but great in the cafe. Breakfast was good and typical; the cafe treats looked delicious, but we didn't buy any. Hotel has more rooms than I was expecting and there were a lot of stairs to get up to our room. PERFECT location for walking around the town. We utilized the free parking across the street - recommend putting in that location on your GPS if you're driving there instead of the cafe/hotel's address.

Reviewed By lutzmatthiasb... werden wir bei den Brenner's einchecken! Wir waren rund um den Globus unterwegs und trauen uns zu, die Qualität einer Unterkunft realistisch einzuschätzen. Kurz: Sehr persönlich geführtes Haus, das keinen übertriebenen Luxus bietet, doch das brauch es auch nicht. Die unterschiedlichen Zimmer sind sehr sauber, das Interior individuell, das Frühstück sehr gut und reichlich. Viele liebevollen Kleinigkeiten entgehen dem Gast nicht, der den Sinn dafür hat. GASTRONOMY The breakfast buffet in the Arthotel ANA Flair is legendary: In addition to hot and cold dishes in rich selection, fruit, juices and a rich offer of cereals and fresh baked goods nothing to be desired! Of course, lactose and gluten-free food and drinks are abundant. Hotel from hell.

Its smoke detectors do not work, the windows at the back of the building almost fall out of the wall and the temporary emergency fire staircase at the side is blocking the entrance. but what is most irritating....the staff does not answer the emergency number which you will want to use because the reception is usually unmanned. so if you arrive after 5pm and you did not come to rent a room for an hour like some guests seem to do here, you'd better be prepared to book, pay and be disappointed.

Reviewed By Annemief2508We’ve been travelling through the South of Germany, the Romantic Route, and have slept in several of the small towns, however Nördlinger was by far the friendliest to us and our little Boston Terrier. The owner of the hotel was so accommodating and kind. We ate there and we really enjoyed some local dishes and wines. I would highly recommend it! It will not be a hassle for them if you bring your dog. They have a lovely young Dalmatian that says hi, but then goes to their house. Thank you for a wonderful time in Nördlinger!
