What a clean homestay!

The place was really clean and the food was so delicious. I also rent a motorcycle and was cheap. You can have all than you need! I suggest this place for sure!!

Reviewed By cmadeira234My boyfriend and I have been traveling around South East Asia for 3 months now and staying here felt very homey for us. Everyone is extremely friendly and accommodating. We were only going to stay for 4 days but ended up extending our stay for 7 days instead, as it was a nice break for us. For their free breakfast you choose one meal and one drink, which honestly wasn’t enough for us all the time. However you can always order more which is between 20,000-30,000 VND. So for us that was only about 1$ CAD extra for breakfast (which wasn’t a big deal). We loved their dining area, you can play pool and they also have cards you can play as well. For lunch and dinner they have LOTS of options, including vegetarian, and everything that we ordered throughout our stay we loved. Plus the food was reasonably priced. The room was good for the price, it was cleaned every day and stocked with new towels. The only problem with the room is that the walls are VERY thin, and you can hear your neighbours very clearly. You can rent scooters on site for cheap and they give you a map with the best destinations to visit and how to get there. Overall we would highly recommend to anyone!! We’re definitely going to miss cherry (their dog), the workers and the homestay. Hopefully we’ll be back one day!!

It is amazing homestay in a Vietnamese farm village
Reviewed By Halo Bay HIt was so nice place for my Ninh Binh trip. The room was comfortable and full furnitures, special the bed was very soft. Air-con was so good. Breakfast was yummy (the highest recommendation is fried noodle with vegetable and eggs, pineapple juice). The host couple - Ky and Thom were so helpful and warm. I had a nice home food dinner with there family. I love the pond beside my room and the green garden in front yard. It was very relax place in a small Vietnamese farm village. I will return soon.

Perfect homestay!
Reviewed By Marc1982I came with my partner for 3 nights and we enjoying so much! Located in the middle of a breathtaking landscape, the place itself is beautiful: lotus flowers lake, georgeous garden and a charming pond with fishes and birds. The bedroom (bungalow) is huge, massive beds and bathroom, clean and comfortable. I recommend to not miss homemade delicious dishes served here. Special remark about the family who run the hotel, they are so helpful, they look after us all time, and spoiled us with treats. I wish we can come back in the future.

Exceeded all expectations and more, a hidden gem of Ninh Binh
Reviewed By TMasonVN19The owner, Minh, was friendly and accomodating from the start; greeting us all with a big smile that did not drop the etime we stayed there. The food was excellent, matched only by the hospitality and kindness shown by our hosts. Breakfast was free and lunch/evening meals were reasonably priced with a wide range of options including some western meals. No request was too much to ask for; as an example, on one day we needed an extra three motorcycles (for hire) and Minh arranged for them to be delivered within half an hour for no extra charge. The rooms were clean, comfortable and equipped with a fridge, kettle, air conditioning and excellent showers (Although just slightly too short if you are over 6' 2"!). There is much more I could say but really the best thing you could do is book here and experience it for yourself. Sadly it was too cold for us to swim but the pool was clean and inviting. Overall, one of the best homestays we have come accross over the whole of Vietnam; despite only having been open for a month! Thank you Minh and all the best for the future! Ps. The puppy is called Mix and he is very naughty and well loved!

Hang Mua Homestay just opened in March 2019 is surrounded by rice fields, very close to the Mua Cave Viewpoint. Hang Mua Homestay is designed according to local architecture with terracotta roof tile. From our homestay has very nice routes to cycle to Tam Coc or Trang an.

Reviewed By zarelamarFor us this place was great value for the price, nice surrounding area, delicious breakfast. The room was spacious, clean and comfy bed, complete with own private bathroom and good hot water. Location is also great just 5 minutes walk to the Hang Mua Viewpoint where you can climbing up to the peak of mountain, and about 3-4 km to get to Trang An or Tam Coc. They also provide scooters for rent, we took one and easy to travelling around Ninh Binh. Thank you Kien and Nhiem, you are the best!

Reviewed By andreamX148PTI visited Phuong Thao Homestay with my girfriend and friends. The place is really nice. We've payed 13 $/1 night for a private room (1 king size bed and 1 normal bed). Our friends took 10 bed room and payed around 3 $ for a night. They have their restaurant with plenty of choices for cheap money, very big portions :) . The staff was relly nice and they understand English pretty well.

Lovely family, beautiful sightseeing to be had
Reviewed By Layla711The family here were really lovely and welcoming - the Grandmother wanting to chat with us round the pool with the help of her granddaughter translating - and we were even invited to have dinner with the family on our last of just two nights here. Unfortunately we had already eaten! As well as being so friendly, the family were helpful in advising us which sights to see and associated entry costs - and the free bikes were great in getting round everywhere. The pool looked lovely and clean and there is a small restaurant onsite which is handy after a long day out and about, and given the home stay is in a rural area with not a huge number of restaurants within walking distance. We had a sleeper train booked the day we left, and we were able to use our room and check out late at no extra cost, which was really appreciated. A lovely family home stay, highly recommended.

What a great family!
Reviewed By HMack246We stayed for two nights and really loved our time spent here. The family were amazing hosts and cared about making sure we had a great stay! We enjoyed breakfast on both mornings and ate dinner on our second night. The banana pancakes and vegetable rice were our personal favourites! The homestay is in a really handy location. We walked to the Mua Caves in less than 10 minutes, though spent longer taking in the beautiful scenery, and cycled to the Bich Dong Pagoda and into town. On our first night we ate in town and would just recommend being mindful about travel as we weren’t able to get a grab back after 11ish but this was the same for other people trying to get back to different homestays too.
