The toolbi camp is a piece of heaven situated on the feet of the Lake Rose in 35 km from Dakar and has the 1 hour of the airport.This space of tranquillity seduces by its warm welcome with a young and dynamic team; a space of relaxation in the Senegalese and European good cooking, the inescapable(major) point.The camp is next(goes alongside) to every year with the podia of arrival, Rally bets Dakar and Rally Africa Race.

Reviewed By Raia1124We left a hotel in the same area that was not good to come to Hotel Toolbi and I was so happy with my choice. We stayed here for 2 weeks. The staff were all so friendly and helpful unlike my previous hotel. It's a family run business and they work very well together to ensure guests feel welcome. The bungalow was perfect, very clean, comfortable bed, good shower and with air-con and a fan I was able to sleep well. We had a wedding celebration party here and they accommodated us and our needs. The pool was kept clean and was perfect for us. I am happy to have met you all (Begi begi) and thank you for everything. Mame Diarra

The holiday cottage welcomes you all year long. On a sand dune, in the shade of coconut palms, birds and ocean to rock you, you can then feel the soul of this magic place. Colors contrasted of the sky azure, of the pink lake, the vegetation and the sand dunes. Where gardens grow in dunes. We tried to protect the nature which welcomed us, so friendly towards us that one of our concerns was to integrate. Many activities such as: horse riding or mountain biking, walking in the dunes and through the kitchen gardens...
Best hotel at Lac Rose!
Reviewed By zeltiamcBest hotel at the Lake Rose! Vero, the manager, was supernice, we had very good conexion with her! Since the very beginning we feel like at home. Our room was very well decorated, full of details. It has one king size bedroom superconfortable, the toilet was very clean and spacious with everything we need. The terrace has an spectacular view to lake Rose! Jona and Pap, rescued us, because our car got out off battery in the middle of nowhere, they were taking care of us in every moment. On the restaurant Momudou prepared delicious food, an special salad with cucumber, cocoa and carrot; Senegalese chicken with potatoes . We're so pleased for all U've done for us. Breakfast was a la carta, with all kind of fruits, delicious coffee and chocolat chaud, toasts, boulangerie... simply perfect! Plenty of energy for starting our tour to Bandia Reserve The decoration of the hotel is very etnic, I cannot stop taking pictures of every corner. All the staff was superfriendly. It was a short stay but intense! We have to come back, for sure! Definitely Le Gite du Lac is a Paradise on Senegal!

Reviewed By Vincent vThey do not accept confirmed reservations via Booking.com. If you try to check in the refuse the confirmation and blame Booking.com and put you back on the street. Their administration is a complete chaos. This company is not professional at all. Pls be warned!!

Got introduced by host robert to the best guide we could have had, named oumar. Honest, experienced , responsable. We felt safe and well protected wherever we were.
