Reviewed By L8wr3nc3Booked this hotel for 3 nights to stay locally for the Boxing. Was a perfect place to stay as not to far to the Arena and the 'town'. Found a few local bars to keep us occupied in the evenings. Very friendly owner who looked after us.

Swim in the Tollense-See
Reviewed By EchologistThis hotel is very quite because of its proximity to the lake. In the summer time and early autumn, it is possible to also have a quick swim in the lake. We had a room with a balcony facing the sea and enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the hotel.

Reviewed By YorkshireAviatorSince my previous review,a proper double bed has been provided ( in the same type of room as I had previously) ,and the bathrooms have been given better shower cubicles.A couple more additional coat hooks have appeared. The room decor has been generally improved.Breakfast now has better teas,and a good supply of boiling water. The efficient and helpful staff ( a family run hotel) are as before. The hotel,for a three star place without bath or air conditioning,is now very good indeed,and far more practical than many " boutique" follies.Indeed,I have recently been to two very fancy places without even proper fire escape stairs- Parkhotel has TWO external stairs.

Reviewed By RobertSwe00Hotel is located just outside the city center (10 min by car). Rooms are nice and clean. Toilet a bit small. Great playroom for kids in basement and a great restaurant with a nice German atmosphere. Would recommend for a one night stop. Wifi works, but a bit slow.

Excellent small hotel, great location, good price

The Hotel Weinert is in an excellent location, just a few blocks from the "Wall" so it's easy access to the entire center of the city. Price was very good and accommodations were exceptionally clean and modern. Easy parking and a secure entries for both the hotel and the room. A great breakfast selection in comfortable relaxing dining area with staff ready to help with whatever you need. STay here!

Room small, towels small and worn, minibar in the room but...empty, no airconditioning, payment already on arrival, but now I understand...guests might walk away immediately, the TV has the size of a computerscreen, no comfortable chair in the room, and the bathroom is so small, no wonder they are turning the shower doors to the inside, for an optical effect. Breakfast is next to the hotel in a restaurant. Not too fresh food, orange juice from the supermarket bottle. No kind welcome or friendly good bye from staff. Parking can only be paid by cash, no assistance from hotel, besides explaining where the nearest ATM is located. This is quality of probably old Eastern Germany. I am a frequent traveller, used to hotels, but I'll never visit this hotel again.

30 years of change... and no change
Reviewed By pepeyanguAfter thirty years of closing down socialist East Germany you still find pockets of that old attitude of total lack of client orientation. We had a family or vacation room, a sort of self catering arrangement. Not even a water cooker was there, not to speak of plates, cutlery, a fridge, nothing. There was a hint of soap for the shower. It amazes me that establishments find guests that way. In an earlier review from two years ago there is a reference to the renovation of the hotel. Well, it is still going on. While having breakfast (OK, that was quite reasonable) you hear the noise of an angle grinder cutting trough something that doesn't like to be cut. What a disappointment.

Fantastic budget hotel
Reviewed By Thilo KI was traveling on a motorcycle and just followed the usual hotel indicator signs after arriving in Neubrandenburg on late afternoon of 31.08.2011. I only stayed one night and was highly impressed with the service and professionalism of the friendly staff. The hotel is situated on a busy thoroughfare but surprisingly, the street noise was hardly audible. My room was very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the invoice does not state the room number but I paid 52 Euros including breakfast. The buffet style breakfast (only 4 Euros according to the bill) comprised of a generous selection of cold and warm food, cereal and fresh fruit. Also noteworthy: an entire Dutch Aircraft crew stayed at the hotel whilst I was there. I can't comment on other breakfast places in the city of Neubrandenburg but certainly have no hesitation to recommend the Hotel Jahnke to fellow travelers.

Eine gute Adresse zum Wohlfühlen !
Reviewed By Christof CDas gepflegte Anwesen (Vermieter wohnt selbst dort) befindet sich in sehr ruhiger Lage außerhalb des Stadtzentrums im Süden unweit des Tollensees, der mit sehr guten Bademöglichkeiten aufwartet (Badesteg, Liegemöglichkeiten, Strand). Parkmöglichkeit am Haus, Garten vorhanden. Die Wohnung O 3 ist sehr geräumig und verfügt über zwei große Zimmer (mit gut ausgestatteter Kochzeile) , Bad und sehr großem überdachtem Balkon. Ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Restaurants in der Nähe vorhanden, ebenso Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.
