Reviewed By ayseo106Perfect small hotel with peace and delicious olive oil, rich breakfast. We stayed as 2 rooms for 2 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. Our hosts were so helpful and friendly. Our only address in Cunda, Ayvalik is now Gule hotel. You can come by car and have the parking space very near. Rooms are large and comfortable. It is decorated with high taste.

Taş Bahçe has two beautiful stone buildings sharing a fragrant garden in Cunda, Ayvalik. When you enter, you may think you have just traveled in time, and find refuge in the coolness of the stone building. You will love the wooden stairs that lead to the second floor, the colorful window on the staircase and the white wooden ceiling, all reminiscent of old Cunda. As you enter your room, the air will be fragrant, of soap we use to wash and clean, the calming colors of the room and restored antique furniture will welcome you, you will take a seat on your bed. You will feel at home.
Do not book in advance, untrustworthy
Reviewed By HuMufThe hotel was closed despite allowing us to book rooms on Hotels.com. After several attempts to contact the hotel (while waiting in front of the locked door), the hotel owner contacted us back to tell us that they are closed and that we should contact hotels.com to cancel our non refundable booking. This is unacceptable. The hotel should not be allowed on any booking website. It was still bookable even on the night we had to return back from its door. As one can not be sure that there is a room actually available in reality (as they let you book in any event), I would not recommend booking this hotel unless you enjoy trying to find rooms in other hotel for your family in last minute in Cunda. If you book, you may have to wait up to 30 days for a refund for a room that you did not even see (as careless owner of the hotel did not disable booking on hotels.com and other sites alike, after she decided to close down the hotel)

Reviewed By Carol-Hughes-42Every little detail of this hotel and of the beach has been thoroughly considered and executed. We had the room with the balcony which had the biggest and most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. The breakfasts and indeed the rooftop bistro were superb and the staff took great pleasure in preparing everything beautifully, and remembering our particular likes (my mugs of coffee were always waiting or me). The pool/garden area was delightful. Parna also has a private beach, which is a bus or taxi ride away, but we’ll worth the short journey. A restaurant, toilets, towels and once again the detail and service made it perfect. Fabulous staff at the hotel reception could not have been more pleasant and helpful (from providing us with necessities when our luggage failed to arrive, to buying spices for us). We really didn’t want to leave, and hope to return as soon as we can.

Cundavilla Hotel offers 10 suit rooms on the Edremit Bay side of the Cunda Island. All of our rooms have balconies. The beach is just 25 meters from the rooms. The Cunda village center is only 913 meters from the hotel. The suit rooms are comprised of a master bedroom with a double bed and a living area with a sofa bed. All of the apartments are furnished with hand made wooden furnitures, air conditioner, frefrigerator, satellite TV, wc and shower. Our restaurant offers Cunda's special sea and vegetable foods on a pre-ordering basis. Activities around are swimming, fishing, diving, snorkelling, hiking, children's playground...
Excellent place for quiet, peaceful and healthy summer break

However I was late to book a hotel and I could not stay everywhere due to I was traveling with my 90 years old aunt. Friend of mine suggested to go to cunda Basel hotel but one of my other friend told me that this hotel is quite old and that side of the island often gets the wind. Gave them a call and after a pleasant conversation I decided to go there .I was advised that there is an elevator and when I am at the beach my aunt can spent time under the trees by the beach as well.when we arrived we noticed that yes the hotel was not new but renevated as much as possible. Apart from the small details for instance when I went to bed I was looking for the switch to turn the light off but there was none.. I had to get up to turn the light off?. To make the story short there was only this kind of minor details as a negative part and all these negative details washed out with Tokatlı family's kind touch on our holiday. Tokatlı family members and every single staff made us to feel that we were guest like in their home not in the hotel. Everything was clean , food was nice but the most important thing was Tokatlı family members and each of staff was extremely friendly & helpful . To sum up me and my aunt both we were happy to be there and we had a peaceful , relaxing holiday with the kind touch of Tokatlı family ❤

What a disappointing stay
Reviewed By hippyr0seWe found this place on the internet and booked a 3 night stay. On arrival, we were enchanted with the setting and location. However, once in our tiny room, we were shocked at the poor standard of the place. Grey darned sheet on the very uncomfortable bed. Not a hanger in the cupboard. An ugly bright light light dangling from a wire in the wall over the bed. Curtains heavy and making the room hot and airless. The bathroom was grimy and in desperate need of an upgrade. We were so disappointed as the pics on the internet are nothing like the reality. The breakfast was unappetizing with very little for the non Turkish visitor. Never to return or recommend.

Magnificent bitik hotel on the first line

I liked the low price of about $ 45 in Turkish lira. 2. Beautiful architecture, comfortable rooms and large beds. 3. The hotel is on the first line from the sea and, finally, not in a noisy place, there is a convenient parking. We have transited here since October 30th and were pleasantly surprised by our stay. The staff are exceptionally friendly, professional and helpful. Both English-speaking managers extremely polite helped in all our questions, and even assisted in paying for the Turkish SIM card, spending time on this. The room is clean and very comfortable. Breakfast is exceptionally tasty and varied - served on the terrace overlooking the sea. I am very grateful to all the staff at the hotel and highly recommend this hotel for rest and transit from the ferry to Izmir and Antalya.
