Plush carpet and availability of a heat pump and electric blanket were a huge plus- especially on the cold rainy nights we had. Great location- close to both beach and harbour. Nothing could be faulted.

Beachfront apartments located on Marine Parade in Mt Maunganui. Plenty of space in fully self-contained 2 and 3 bedroom apartments with 2 bathrooms, full kitchens, and laundry. All linen supplied. Secure undercover parking for 2 cars, and lift access to all floors. Free wifi. Wonderful sea views from 3rd and 4th floors, with huge private balconies. Quiet location close to restaurants, shops, parks, airport, golf courses, and right across the road from the awesome surf beach.

Reviewed By PhillipB294Easy check in and great parking. What a joy with luggage trollies available to cart luggage up in the lift. We had a 3 bedroom top floor beach front apartment with fabulous views out over the beach and ocean. The apartment was a great size with cupboards stocked with all the plates and glasses etc. for a long term stay. We ate in every night and had a ball playing cards and watching the ships coming and going. The swimming pool was just warm enough for a good swim and my wife enjoyed relaxing in the hot pool on a couple of occasions. We are organizing to meet our friends here again early next year as we really enjoyed our time there. A special thanks to Toni for her effort in sending my phone charger back to me. It was greatly appreciated.

Reviewed By hanniepexThe place is very accesible from state hiway and few blocks away from Bayfair mall. We did not expect that a motel could have been that complete. The check in was very smooth. The guy accompanied us to our room. The unit has 2 floors. Ground floor has 1 single bed, small receiving area and mini kitchen. Mini kitchen has cuttleries, kitchen utensils, pans and mini fridge. The toilet hAs bath tub and complete with toiletries. Queen size bed is uptairs. I must commend this has the most generous plug/ socket that we have ever stayed in! I think the entire unit has 5 x 2 plugs. Yehey!! Thats 10 gadgets or appliance at the same time. Lol. There is a heater panel as well but electric fan is provided too. We are delighted that we were able to use their heated pool After a tiring day from walking around. The check out was fast and easy too! Will recommend this motel to everyone who does not expect something grand and not fussy. We are happy to stay here again and again in the future

Reviewed By Ian WLocated on the main street, the local bus stops at the door and there is a choice of four Fast Food shops less than 50 metres away. A short walk takes you to some excellent shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. The proprietors are very friendly and the allocated car park was adjacent to the room.

The accommodation consists of 9 ground floor units, which are 5 one bedroom suites, 2 large studios, and 2 corporate studios. Parking is free and directly outside each unit. Selection of super king, queen and single beds. All units have dining areas, shower bathrooms, flat screen TVs with SMART TV's and Netflix, also free ultrafast unlimited WiFi in every room. Walking distance to beach supermarket, RSA, and shops, restaurants.

They were helpful, friendly and professional. Large grass ares for children to play, close to New World and beach, clean adequate room.

Quiet and tidy.
Reviewed By 841paulaaNice quiet large hotel with somewhat good views, but I wouldn't recommend it on that basis, better views elsewhere. Our room was very clean and tidy, no issues with 'tired' furniture etc. What was disappointing is paying good money for a hotel but having to take our own rubbish downstairs to the bins (and then the bin wasn't there so you had to go back up from the basement and out and around to the casual carpark) and also put our dishes in the dishwasher when we left to avoid a "cleaning" fee. In my opinion, the rate for the room includes any cleaning fee. And the dishwasher in my room had the last person's clean dishes still in it! We were going to check if they wanted us to wash our own sheets too. A bit cheeky and this is what would stop me from staying here again. If I wanted to do my own dishes I would have stayed at home, not gone on holiday.

The reception was filthy and not staffed. Someone helped us that claimed not to work there. Upon arrival into the room it was filthy! The car park was probably cleaner. Talking to management was the worst experience. A rude horrible violent man that was unimpressed we had booked via a 3rd party. If I had enough money I would pay guests not to stay here. The rooms are filthy and the staff are rude! Do yourself a favour and do not even bother with this establishment.

Reviewed By Richard LOnly stayed for one night but very comfortable and accommodating. Short drive to the Mount for dinner, shopping centre and beach close by, good parking. Powerful shower gets an extra star! Will stay here next time down this way.

She tried to overcharge me on the phone as she stated "website prices were incorrect" which should have been the redflag for me not to book and when I asked her to honour the price she said "I have to call the owner" So I booked online instead and got the better rate. When we arrived I prepaid and went into the room which was a huge mistake! We then noticed all the cobwebs on the ceiling,fan and Aircon. We then we put our food on the bench and had a snooze and woke up to ants ?? all over our food. We went to the manager and she came over with ant spray and didn't even apologize. I did ask for a discount as and then she treated us like we were a burden and she needed to "contact the owner" No response so I emailed the info line and this was the reply from the manager "I told you that I would contact you if your bank account was needed for a refunded discount. I haven’t called you because it was not necessary as the business owner is not discounting your stay" Worst customer service ever..get a new job manager and make sure the rooms and pests are cleaned properly or do you need to contact the owner? Did the owner even get the call and email? What manager do you know can not make those types of decisions?
