We guarantee the quiet and the elegance of a simple residence and a secretive and fascinating habitat. The hotel has 10 rooms of which three of them are little flats with lofts and with kitchenette or kitchen in a separate part of the room to satisfy every needs.

Reviewed By Giuliano FThat's a particular place , inside in a real borgo , you will find the best comfort and atentetion of the region. This is a family's Hotel and you will feel like one of them! Is little hard to find the hotel at first time, but that's make it so special, you can trust in your GPS map and you will not regret! People at neighborhood is very kind and will help you with any informations I highly recommend you spend some time to talk to Lucia and her sister Francesca. Their father also works at Hotel and is a real gentleman and wise man.They are very kind and can help you out with hints of Matera! I personally suggest you spend some time to know better Montescaglioso too, it's a very beautiful place with remarkable landscape and particular historical facts , and not so crowded like Matera, lol. The hotel is 10 minutes far form the historical and a commercial centre, where you can eat and have good time. All my best wishes to il Borgo Ritrovato, and hope see you ASAP. Reviewed By isler58Great place to stay, very centrally located. Nicely furnished and very clean. Above standard breakfast (for Italy) and excellent bathroom/shower. Wifi works ok, but depends on location in the house. Hosts are very friendly and attentive. We will be back!

Reviewed By montyishereStayed here for one night. The bedroom was beautiful. It was sparkling and extremely clean. Slept very well! The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming :). They made us a lovely breakfast. Enjoyed the homemade cake and jams! When we were leaving the host even offered to pack us up some food to take away with us! Thank you for a great stay!!

A HIDDEN MARVEL IN MONTESCAGLIOSO

The location is simply perfect, close to the town square and access to all of the best bakeries and ice cream shops! The rooms are exceptionally clean with fresh crisp linens 3-4 times a week, rooms have a/c, the beds are queen size and some rooms have additional pull out beds, the bathrooms are clean and are supplied with body soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion (great products!). TOWELS ARE SNOW WHITE!!! The owners are incredible people!! Rocco, Lucia, Francesco and Raffaello - we want to thank you all for all that you did for our family! We were provided with the entire 2nd floor - private access to the 2nd floor - which consists of 2 bedrooms with a full bath in each room, a living area (sofa, etc). We also had use of the outside terrace on top of the building which provided a spectacular view of the town!. Lucia baked every morning and I will never forget the smell and taste of these amazing croissants, crostatas and loaves - in addition the the bountiful amount of food available not only for breakfast but 24 hours a day!!! Security and comfort was never an issue as there was always someone to tend to our needs, concerns and belongings. This B & B is simply remarkable and I am with absolute certainty that you will never be disappointed. YOU NEED TO BOOK WAY IN ADVANCE AS THIS B & B IS ALWAYS RESERVED ESPECIALLY WITH REPEAT CLIENTS.

Reviewed By hribovcI've booked in advance and we drove over 1100 km to stay there for 8 days. Everything was above expectations for the price you pay. A very nice place in the country side, wonderful and very nice family beyond every experience we (me and my daughter) have met since and we are traveling a lot. I hope some day we will do it again. It's quite near very famous city of Matera and it's location offer you to visit a lot of beautiful places: Craco, Alberobello, Ostuni,.. and is not so far from the seaside also.

Reviewed By wgeelhoed3On the mountainslope of Montescaglioso (a small, beautiful Romain city) this century old farmhouse is situated. Nice view on the surrounding olive yards. Very friendly staff (would be good to follow an English course). Excellent breakfast with home groen fruits (frutti di casa). Large swimming pool which is much appreciated when temperatures are plus 40. If the slseping room would have had airco (absolutely a good investment) I would give 5 stars.

È dotata di tutti i comfort e la pulizia la fa da padrona. La signora Lucia squisita, premurosa e disponibile. La struttura dista poco da Matera e da Alberobello, un'ottima via di mezzo. Consigliatissima!!! Ci ritorneremmo volentieri, saluti da Ragusa
