Reviewed By saibotMaybe the rest of this place is nicer, but we were down in that lower room towards the back, on the canal side. The Wi-Fi didn't reach there, so we had to go to the common room to get signal. People would smoke right outside that door, so every time it was opened the room smelled like cigarettes. In general, the hotel has a lot of wear and tear and needs to be updated. It was the only thing we could find in the Salzburg area for that date. On the bright side, it's close to Mondsee center but quiet, had a good breakfast, & was near a gas station that has snacks, alcohol & even a small bar!

Super friendly staff, well appointed rooms and the food is very very good….highly recommended. We stayed half pension but not with a fixed menu….always 2-3 choice of main course, recommended wines, alternative Menus to choose, make this the Highlight. The spa is very comfortable, nice ambience, plenty of space, 3 different kinds of sauna, small pool, few bikes etc. very relaxing atmosphere…. Deep garage costs 9 per day which is fair. Free bike rentals etc etc….all in all a Great stay….

Nice remodeled hotel in center of town
Reviewed By laughlovetravelwineNice hotel right in the town of Mondsee. About 5 minutes walk to the lake and 2-3 min walk to the church in town. They have a restaurant downstairs which seems very popular but was closed the night we could’ve eaten there. The breakfast is average though with no hot foods. The rooms have been remodeled in a very nice Austrian way. We had the family room which was very large and had two terraces. The only thing is that the lights are by sensor for the hallway and bathrooms, so you can’t control it. It was fine except in the middle of the night when my son had to use the restroom and all the lights went on in the hallway and bathroom and stayed on for awhile after use. They have a parking lot in front, although it can be full sometimes.

Reviewed By Hanene SEverything about this hotel is Great, The owners are lovely people and the staff at the reception are very helpful and welcoming with smile on their faces. The room was very big and clean with a great view, the bathroom was very spacious too. The atmosphere is sooo nice and quiet, the Golf course overlooking the Mondsee Lake was just breathtaking. I wish we stayed longer... I Highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a great view and quiet place this is the best destination, it's also only 25 min by car to Salzburg and 1 hour by car to Hallstatt

Reviewed By etiennezaThis quiet hotel is set outside town in the country side has spectacular views of the country side and is next to a forest for nature walks. Friendly and knowledgeable staff make your stay pleasant and your day trips memorable. The rooms are adequately furnished, spacious and comfortable. Bar dinners are served promptly and a great light meal to have with an evening drink. The restaurant food is well presented and delicious. The hotel is child friendly with a small playground outside to keep them entertained. Sam - the local hotel mascot is a very friendly and loving dog who just wants his head patted. Over all a great and relaxing experience.

The Leidingerhof is a traditional family. Our Panorama is one of the most beautiful in the Salzkammergut. We have a restaurant where you can choose half board or by the great a la carte card. A rich breakfast buffet where you will lack nothing, You can take in the panoramic terrace to himself and enjoy the beautiful view over the whole Mondseeland. In the evening you can finish off with a good drop of wine or one of our own spirits. The Leidingerhof would on every visit you offers With best regards Family Stabauer

Reviewed By MartiniWarsawIt was a one-night stay on our way to Italy. We coudn`t have chosen better. At the time of our stay there weren`t many guests. But we were greeted as if we were the members of the family. It turned out that we got upgraded and the room was spacious and very clean (actually a junior suite). Before the restaurant was open we were invited to have something to drink and a piece of freshly baked and still warm "apfelstrudel" Delicious! . Then we had a decent Austrian dinner with some excellent local "schanpps" to follow. I agree that the place is not very sophisticated but the staff do their best to make you feel at home. The hotel is very close to the motorway (while you are there you have no idea that the busy road is just there) which is pretty convenient. And the views - simply amazing! If we are ever somewhere close, we`ll stay at Panorama hotel.

Reviewed By 79jingWe stayed for only one night because we're on road trip adventure for a couple of days. It's an amazing B&B and friendly staff. A place for an outdoor activities like biking. The hotel staffs lend us the bike to saw the amazing place that can offered..a fresh air, a huge agricultural farm of Austrian people, Dragonwall mountain and Moonlake. Clean rooms and foods that are highly pleasantly to taste fresh from agricultural farm.

We created a new feel-good ambience with the renovation of our rooms, the dinning room and fitness center! After relaxing on the lawn you will find pleasant refreshment in the swimming pool with sunbathing area next to the house. In our large garden you will find many secluded spots, to escape the stress of everyday life.

Reviewed By Rafal GLocated on the hill in quite neighborhood. Good breakfast with helpful service. Standard of my room was rather poor but compensated by the service and location. Another disadvantage is that there is no dinner menu but instead have fantastic local stuff and wine.

Amazing experience
Reviewed By Petra_from_SlovakiaWith my husband we decided to spend last summer days in this hotel on the beach of Mondsee. And we could not make better choice. Together with extraordinary nature surrounding the hotel, accommodation was perfectly clean and comfy. However make sure to book the room with lake view, the rooms with windows to the street are little bit noisy in the morning from the traffic, so you cannot open the windows. What I want to point out is perfect kitchen the hotel offers. The chef is Mr. Lackner himself and we are only wondering why they still do not have any awards, because without any doubt I can say that they cook better than in any awarded Wien’s restaurants. It is truly amazing experience and we can recommend the weekend or also longer vacation here.
