I will definitely come back. Close to mayor shopping centers Villacentro and Primavera Urbana and Palo Alto Restaurant. Un hotel muy bueno, ubicación inmejorable y unas personas cálidas y amables que se aseguraron de que tuviéramos una buena experiencia. Lo recomiendo sin reserva.

Worst hotel and experience ever
Reviewed By Juan RVillavicencio, Meta has an average temperature of 30°C. First surprise, there is no mini bar or fridge in the rooms. There are no ice machines around. The safe box is so small, I couldn't put my laptop inside. According to them, there was a damage that day and had no hot water for the entire stay. By looking at other reviews, it appears this is a recurring issue. They had to provide a bucket and an electric water heater, as per the attached picture. We had to shower with a bowl. They have removed the bathtub drain plug, so it cannot be used "as per environmental purposes". The second night, one of the room's air conditioners failed and got full of ice. They had to move us to an other room at midnight. The floors indoors and outdoors, are dangerous as they are very slippery. That is a fall hazzard. They promote breakfast buffet. Not available during weekdays. Only on weekends with very limited options. Personnel try as much as they can to resolve the issues, but it appears management do not provide the necessary tools and resources. It says is not a pet friendly hotel. There were more than three dogs with no leash around the pool. Not that I don't like dogs. I have two on my own and could've taken them with me if I knew they were allowed. This place does not deserve to be rated as a four star hotel. Two if lucky. Terrible experience. Not recommended.

Reviewed By acknechtbMy boyfriend and I went to the hotel early January (2017) to relax. My first impressions of the hotel were a. the place is nice and b. the rooms are clean. Check-in went smoothly and since it was late, we had something to eat at the restaurant and it was good. The next day we had a good and simple breakfast and then relaxed by the pool. For lunch we decided to go out and when we got back, we noticed that our valuable items (such as two laptops, a camera and much more) were stolen from our bedroom. It was dark when we arrived and it seemed who ever stole our valuable items knew what to steal and how due to the evidence that was left behind. The robber or robbers took advantage of the poor security: a. the door had a poor alarm system (it would only go off if the door was left open at a specific angle), b. there was only one security guard responsible for the complex, c. no cameras were set up, d. the hotel was surrounded by dark fields and e. there were only bushes surrounding the complex that went up to my belly-button. The receptionist helped us as much as he could when we reported the incident and the police were also involved but I didn´t feel safe after what had happened. Unfortunately, it was too late to stay somewhere else but we left the next day early once things were settled with the hotel. About 2.5 months later the hotel´s insurance finally paid us back but it definitely didn´t meet the value of what was stolen. Overall, it´s a nice place but I would never return because I didn´t feel safe there and it is important to go somewhere where you feel safe.

There are different types of barnyard animals such as goats, cows, horses, chickens, ducks and turkeys, as well a variety of wildlife such as birds, monkeys and reptiles. You can also witness and be part of activities like cow milking and horseback riding.

Reviewed By solabaresWe just got back from a four day stay at Hotel Mastranto. What an incredible family vacation! Let me tell you why… The property itself is beautiful. It is far from the highway, so the only sounds you hear are natural. There is no music blared at the pool, all too common in many hotels. There are some special parts. The creek has a natural pool built as a swimming hole. There is a waterfall and we saw about ten fish swimming downstream. It is clean and fresh. There are two swimming pools. The main pool is large, impeccably clean (cleaned every day), and has a nice shallow area around the edge. The kids’ pool is round and perfect for the little ones learning to swim. There is also a natural lagoon with a walking path around it. We probably walked around it eight times. There are many kinds of flowers, turtles, and at least one alligator (we saw its snout and eye poking out of the water) in the lagoon. It is perfect for sunrise strolls. There is a farm connected to the property. We woke up to watch the workings of the farm: milking the cows, calves reunited with mothers to feed, turkeys, parrots, goats, and chickens. It would be great if they trained David, the farmer, to allow children to help with these tasks. The restaurant is clearly clean (open air kitchen) and serves delicious food. We had mojarra (fish), chicken breast, lentils, vegetable soup, breakfast with freshly prepared arepas, and lemonade. It is served in a giant open air space with a roof, so you dine with views of the lagoon and the pool. The entire hotel is lush and green. One guest saw an owl perched on the volleyball pole on evening. Walking to the creek, we saw a bright green iguana, which we observed for a few minutes. They offer horseback riding, and there are two horses grazing freely on the farm. The service is spectacular. Maria is a great host who attended to our every need. Travelling with a one-year-old and a small boy isn’t easy. They made it easier. The rooms are a bit small, but after a day walking and exploring, we didn’t need a huge space. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms are spotless. We will definitely be back to Mastranto, a very special spot in Los Llanos. It is about 15 minutes from Villavicencio, close to Tiuma Park.

On the outside, the facilities look like your average glamping facilities with a basic vinyl tent, bathroom shack behind it, etc. However, upon entry into the tent, you see that it's actually a nicely built wooden cabin with a mini fridge, snacks, and a fan. The vinyl tent is simply and additional covering. The bathroom is technically disconnected from the cabin, but it's cleverly placed right behind it with an opening in the tent that goes directly into the bathroom. The bathroom itself is very nice inside. With tiled floors, dual showerheads, clean toilet, etc. The jacuzzi was also a great addition. The cool water is perfect for the warm days in this part of the region. The total experience was top notch and couldn't recommend it enough for anyone looking to visit this location!

El servicio es el esperable de un hotel de esta categoría. Las habitaciones son pequeñas. Cuentan con camas con buenos colchones y aire acondicionado sin mando a distancia. Los tv son pequeños. En general podrían mejorar mucho el aspecto del hotel.
