We are a cosy family-run guest house located in Medvode in the Ljubljana countryside, 9 km from central Ljubljana, near the main road to Kranj and 14 km from the International Airport Ljubljana-Pučnik. This small, cosy 3-star bed & breakfast property offers you 10 nicely furnished rooms with a total of 28 beds. All rooms are fully en suite and equipped with a cable TV, air-conditioning andwireless internet access /FREE - ENTEIRE PROPERTY/.They are cleaned daily. Facilities include a bar, a bistro and a car park under video surveillance /FREE/. You will be very warmly welcomed by our friendly English,German,Italian ,Serbian and Croatian speaking staff. We offer you a free airport pick-up if you stay for 5 nights or longer. Since the tunnel is completed now, there are no more traffic jams an and you can reach the city centre within 10 to 15 minutes.There are 2 ski resorts within the vicinity of our hotel. Krvavec is 18 km from here and Stari Vrh is 16 km.The Atlantis aqua park is also 16 km away and is open all year round. If you are interested in hiking, there are 2 trails: • Slavkov dom (459 metres above sea level, 1-hour walk)• * Katarina ( 738 metres above sea level, 3-hour walk) • There are also ski trails in the surrounding area in the winter. If you want to make use of our airport pick-up service (for free if staying 5 nights or more) please provide us with your flight details!The property is conveniently situated between Ljubljana - Kranj - International airport Ljubljana Brnik, just off the R211 main road in the town of Medvode. By Car: - Heading in the direction of Austria, leave the motorway in Kranj and drive towards Ljubljana (R211). - In Medvode, we are located on the right-hand side at the end of the village. - From Ljubljana centre, take the road towards Austria and the International Airport and stay on the R211 main road (yellow signs) towards Medvode. - As you arrive in Medvode, the hotel is situated on the left-hand side. By Public Transport: You can also reach us by catching the number 25 bus from Ljubljana for just EUR 1 per person. Journey time is about 20 minutes.Breakfast is served from 07:00 until 10:00. Reviewed By Lanakila83We had a great weekend away from home at Pri Ančki. The location is perfect for anyone looking to be close to nature and at the same time not far from the city. There are many options for bike routes and hikes close to the lodgings location. The B&B also offers free parking, has and outdoor terrace and a bar. The rooms are clean and equipped with high speed wi-fi as well as AC and all for a affordable price. The hosts are super friendly, nice and ready to help at any time or with any problem. All in all a great experience and highly recommended from a satisfied guest!

You can see the love of this family run hotel from the smallest details. the decor both on the inside and on the outside patio.the lovely fresh fragrant smell of the towels and bed sheets, just to mention a few. Spotlessly clean . Hosts are super. Delicious breakfast. ....and did I mention the breath taking view of the lake. Highly recommended.

Reviewed By JustGourmandi enjoy eating a healthy veggie-based meal now and again, so my wife and i came here for lunch. i ordered the day's special "vegetable soup". i was served a hearty green puréed soup, with a pleasant but very strong flavor of some herb i couldn't place. i asked the waitress what was in the soup, and she tells me it's primarily broccoli. i elaborated that it has a very strong herb flavor, and i'm very curious what it is. she makes it clear she has no idea what's in the soup and appears irrate when i suggest that she please ask the chef. she comes back a few minutes later and reports that the soup is primarily broccoli and peas. i explain again that i know what broccoli and peas taste like, and the soup has a very strong aroma of something else. to this she conclusively states that the chef keeps the details of his dishes secret. i understand not all chefs write books and go around publicizing their recipes, but not to tell a curious diner what they are eating is completely bizarre. i've never experienced anything like this before or since. i like to know what i eat; I'll never come here again for any more of their "mystery" dishes.

Reviewed By Lorenzo CAbbiamo trascorso un week-end lungo tra amici a Ljubljana e questo affittacamere era praticamente l'ultima opzione ancora disponibile. La residenza si trova a pochi metri dalla ferrovia (che si sente di notte) e a circa 15minuti di camminata dalla fermata del bus/treno da/per Ljubljana e dal centro commerciale dove fare colazione (non è compresa nel prezzo). Gli interni sono obsoleti e andrebbero riammodernati, il bagno è ok. Ampio parcheggio per i clienti. Lo staff è gentile e disponibile. Tutto sommato un po' caretto rispetto alla qualità dell'alloggio ma ci può stare visto il periodo di alta stagione. Può andare bene come base per muoversi nella zona se non c'è altro di meglio!
