Wonderful place for families with small children
Reviewed By KelliB423We had originally planned to spend just three nights at the hotel during the off-season, but it was so peaceful and pleasant that we decided to stay an additional two nights. The rooms were updated and clean and large enough for our family of four. The breakfast buffet had something for everyone and we were never hungry when we left the dining room. Dinners were usually spent elsewhere, but there is a small restaurant that made decent food for people who wanted to stick around the hotel in the evenings. The best part of this hotel is that they cater to kids. There is a fenced-in playground outside for the warm and dry weather, but also an indoor room (or two?) with activities for kids on the cold and rainy days. The staff was welcoming, cordial, pleasant and very friendly. They made us feel at home and wanted to make sure we had a great stay. The location is in a quaint little Austrian village, which we loved. There were some rainy days where we sat on the balcony and watched the dark clouds roll in; we'd sit and drink coffee in the morning and stare at the Alps and drink wine in the evening and watch the sun set. It was so relaxing and wonderful that, as I said, we decided to skip our next destination and stay for an additional two days there at Gasthof Adler. There's much less to do in this area during the summer, but visitors are still able to take a steam train, travel up to the mountaintops via ski lift, hike, wander, swim, visit the cheese factory, etc. It's good to have a car in order to get to these places.

Great and peaceful place
Reviewed By Martin CI've spent in this beautiful hotel only one night, but I have to submit that it is really great place to stay. Clean and spacious rooms, comfortable bed and such a nice and kind personal. The window view or even better the teras view is something you have to experience. Hopefully come back one day.

not much time to enjoy
Reviewed By Jo_Chen_Lahstayed there recently for a 2-day seminar the seminar-room was across the street from the main hotel - lucky the weather was good. the room itself was with a high ceiling and very bright. the restroom seemed to be more of a makeshift, but new and clean the service in the hotel, food - no complaints all spotless next time i bring my own towl, as it felt more like a thin sandpaper than a comfy towl - anyway when there is a seminar - it can be tigh in regards to parking-spots also had no chance to use the spa area - but by the looks it looked appealing - rest all no complaints happy to go there anytime again

Eine Frühstückspension mit einem super Frühstück
Reviewed By RainerPriDas ehemalige Hotel Alpenblick wurde restauriert und ist nun sMatt3. Unser Zimmer 12 war schön eingerichtet. Leider war Kies oder Sand am Boden und im Bereich des Teppichs vor dem Bett. Das Wasser in der Toilettenschüssel war braun. Auch war es recht Staubig auf den Flächen. Vermutlich war das Zimmer länger nicht belegt. Es wäre schön wenn der Zimmerservice nach einer längere nicht Belegung einmal kurz durchschauen könnte. Das Zimmer ist direkt zur B205 und daher sehr Laut vom Straßenlärm in der Nacht. Ansonsten waren die Betten gut. Die Gänge etwas verwinkelt. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet und wird auch von vielen Einheimischen besucht. Leider war es am Sonntag sehr voll und ich wurde, da ich an einem Tisch Stirnseitig saß, dauernd von hinten angerempelt da sich die Besucher zwischen meinem Sessel und dem Sessel hinter mir durchquetschen mussten. Vielleicht sollten die Tischabstände geändert werden oder nicht so ausladende Sessel verwendet werden. Ausserhalb der Frühstückszeiten ist kein Personal im Hotel. Es steht im 2ten OG ein Getränkekühlschrank bereit. Schön wäre wenn es hier auch ein Bregenzerwälder Bier ( Egger ) aus dem Nachbardorf gäbe.
