Reviewed By Christine_ChanwayWithout a doubt, The Capaldi Hotel is a beautiful setting. Both the public areas and the bedroom suites have been designed with care and thought. There are comfortable outdoor areas for relaxation in the sun but the fireplaces in the dining areas and outdoor rooms bring extra charm to staying outdoors in the sunny winter months. The rooms are designed with generous proportions and high spec finishes. The beds and bed linens made for delicious sleep! All of this would mean little though without the impeccable service offered by the owner Ed Lyle and his wonderful staff. From the moment we walked into our rooms and saw the rose petals artfully strewn around the room, we knew they cared. Hussein and all his colleagues at reception were always available, helpful and friendly. They organised our hikes, walks and spa visits even at short request. The dining staff were wonderful also and looked after us well. We also stayed a few days in Marrakech at the Riad Capldi, the sister establishment, and all our transfers to and from the airport and between the properties were seamless. Thank you Capaldi Hotel for the most wonderful memories of Morocco!

The Inn is located about 30 kms from Marrakech in Lalla Takerkoust. It is isolated but yet not too far away from the village and is right on the lake shore. Built using traditional Berber materials, it offers all the comfort and facilities in the rooms. A corner of paradise on earth ! Welcome to the quiet and calmness of a breathtaking environment looking out on the Atlas mountains all white in winter, and so colourful in the summer.

Reviewed By F5593XPsaraheI visited with family today. The waiter refused to have us seated unless we come for lunch. He didn’t even ask about the type of our visit. However, he said we couldn’t either have a sunshade if it’s not for lunch. He just kept saying some none sense that is not appropriate for a client-based service. Which eventually made us leave.

The hotel Kasbah Beldi is a great escape from Marrakech, located on the shore of a lake, built on a hill offering a beautiful view on the atlas mountain, on the desert and on a lake. The hotel has a large garden, two swimming pools (one heated during the winter), a spa hammam, a bar and a restaurant. The Kasbah Beldi is a charming hotel in a middle of an "oasis", the perfect escape for a romantic or family stay.
Excellent retreat less than an hour from Marrakech.
Reviewed By 267stepsCame here after a few days at Beldi Country Club which is relaxing also, but the Kasbah does require a further transition. There is no wifi in the rooms which took me a minute to process! - but it’s lovely in fact. I highly recommend ataying in the little lodges. Number 23 has a lovely terrace and view in front of it. See the photos. The lunch is slightly limited but they will cater to non meat eaters and did a lovely salad nicoise for us. The dinner which really impressed me had a much wider selection, and my main regret of the trip is not staying here longer. As long as the other visiting guests are not too noisy, (unfortunately there was a particularly loud family during our visit), this is an idyllic retreat. 2 /3 nights would have been perfect! Sadly the lake is no more, or too far away to be a part of the scenery, so the water focus is the pool. It felt much hotter here than Marrakech which was appreciated. The fire in the evening in the communal area was excellent, and the atmosphere waa quite special.

Disappointing, could have been so much better
Reviewed By michaelfT5434RSWhile glamping is supposed to be 'glamourous camping', this is unfortunately not the case with this property. As you can see from the photos, the tents are old and dirty. We came at the beginning of November and it gets really freezing in the desert at night. Unlike other properties nearby, there are no heaters available. The bathroom is missing basic amenities, no tissues, shower gel, shampoo. Not even a plastic cup after brushing your teeth. Our bathroom had a really bad smell of damp, they gave us an airfreshener but that doesn't really help. The sliding door did not lock and the walls of the tent were real filthy. We only stayed one night and am glad it wasn't more. The room we were given was large but there was a small room inside with a locked door. Maybe for storage? Another major let down was the distance to the pool. You need to walk first down and then up a hill to get to it, a 6 minute walk in the dust so not ideal. It wasn't all bad though. The staff (male only) was super friendly and helped where they could. The restaurant serves traditional meals but does not have a menu. You get served what they prepare that day. Vegetarions can ask for a meal without meat.

Reviewed By ryanjohnston1My wife and I stayed for a night at Jnane Tihihit but we could have easily stayed longer. The little villa we had was clean and spacious. The food was delicious and the staff were great. There is a pool and lots of animals to visit. Highly recommend it.

Reviewed By ibnFouadSpent two nights here, good location nearby the lake, like it is name indicates it is a villa a big one. Breakfast is fine, it starts a bit late 09h00 AM I think, and the service is a bit slow. Nearby you can rent a quads or jet skis.

Le service est irréprochable et les employés de l hôtel font le maximum pour nous satisfaire. L hôtel est isoler et malgré cela ,le confort et tout le nécessaire a un excellent séjour est mis en œuvre . La gentillesse et le sourire sont les armes les plus redoutables pour nous faire revenir !
