All was good at the Lake Louise Inn. We had a 1 bedroom and it was perfect for our family of 4. The room was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The food in the restaurants was very good. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Great stay

We stayed here for 2 days and it was wonderful. The one bedroom unit cabin was clean, cozy, and everything we've expected. It was next to a creek and had fire pits on the banks. Staff was very helpful, I had forgotten something after checking out and they were quick to help me get it back a couple days later. Would definitely come back again!

Deer Lodge - great location and staff!

Reviewed By 2JenL

Deer Lodge is a historical hotel with mountain lodge charm. A Fantastic location about a block from Fairmont Lake Louise. Very short walk to the hotel and to Lake Louise itself. The restaurant on site was very good as well and arrive by all staff was top notch! They gave great information that included some known areas that we hadn’t heard of that ended up being highlights of our trip. The CRMR owns this and other hotels and use their ranch to provide food to each of the hotels they own. The rooms had basic amenities but didn’t bother us because no time is spent indoors in Lake Louise/Banff area. They had St. Agnes room so families could enjoy meals outside of the restaurants but the restaurant has great service and bar as well. The rooftop pool and hot tub that overlooks the mountains was nice after a day of hiking or sightseeing. We were there for our 30th wedding anniversary and the staff had a card, wine and glasses for us in our room at arrival. They will be renovating beginning in September, so there may be limited availability after that time. Overall, a great experience and the staff truly was amazing!

Paying for convenience

Plus - Great location, nice scenery, comfortable room. Having a cabin up from the lake was a plus. Minus - Breakfast first morning of stay was cold, as was the breakfast room. Being end of season, room was not always restocked with amenities that were supposedly guaranteed. Given cost of room, expected a little more. We requested a box lunch one afternoon, we got charged after being told it was going to be complimentary. You basically pay for the convenience of being close to hiking trails and not having to deal with the limited parking,
