Reviewed By 339daisykWe stayed one night here and would have happily stayed longer. The decor was beautiful, newly renovated and homely while still being stylish. Amazing touches like USB ports next to the bed, a TV which is compatible with streaming services like Netflix and fluffy robes on the bed. An amazing touch was the communal room for teas, coffees and light snacks which you had access to whenever you’d like including a great espresso coffee machine! The owner Mark was so welcoming and told us all of the history of the hotel, some great nearby recommendations for things to do in the area. Summit the 8 month old puppy greeted us which was amazing! A fantastic nights sleep in a really comfortable bed in a great room, genuinely the best stay we’ve had across our 2 week road trip of Canada. Highly recommend!

There are so many outdoor adventures in Kimberley, it didn't even matter that ski season was over and golf season hadn't yet begun. The lodge was full with an event going on in the convention centre yet it was still really quiet and we were able to enjoy the hot tub on our own! Bed was super comfortable and we were able to get some supplies for snacks and breakfast in town. Definitely worth a stay!

A Glowing Hotel Stay!
Reviewed By GooodunTwo couples retreat to visit Kimberley town BC. We all shared a room together and were very comfortable for our stay. We were immediately greeted with a warm welcome and helpful guidance about our options by the motel owner on arrival. As well as the cute free ranging chickens. Otherwise we were given our space and privacy. Once we got into our room we all agreed just how nice the attention to detail that was taken in really making the rooms feel authentic and cozy was. Daily changing banana bread options of exceptional quality baked in house at no additional cost. A well stocked coffee bar with a quiet bar fridge that didn't interfere with our sleep. Ample towels. Very clean bedding. A really sweet hot tub. Some of the tastiest tap water I've ever drunk. Close enough to walk town if you feel like having that extra drink. I have nothing negative I can say, however if you want to be right in town this not for you. It is a 20-30min walk. Otherwise the price was great and the overall experience was exceptional. Highly recommended!

Reviewed By charleneb352We weren’t told until we were checking in that there would be a loud concert from 9:00 until 11:00 PM in the restaurant below our room. When my husband spoke to the young lady who works here she told him we should just come to the bar and have some drinks, and then it won’t matter. Now it’s 11:30, the music is still going and is so loud even ear plugs won’t cut the noise, and I am not able to sleep. We are on a motorbike trip and are supposed to have an early start tomorrow. Although the decor of the room is quite nice, the bed was the only thing that looked clean. The night tables were covered in dust, the carpet was filthy, there was something sticky on top and down the front of the fridge, the mirror looked like it had been wiped with a greasy cloth, and the bathroom tap was coated in toothpaste splatters. I will never stay here again and don’t recommend it to anyone else who actually expects to get some sleep when they pay for a hotel room.

The most perfectly appointed condo!

We have stayed at vacation rentals around the world, but this was the most perfectly appointed home we have stayed at! Every little detail was taken care of. Very comfortable furniture and beds. Very well stocked kitchen for all you may need. Large hottub that functioned perfectly on the deck of your private patio, overlooking the mountains. Underground, heated parking. Air conditioned with fireplaces. Sufficient amount of towels, etc. The only thing I needed was coasters for the coffee table, as I did not want to leave rings on the wood. They even called us on our first morning to be sure we had everything we needed. Excellent place for a ski vacation, or quiet get away. The town was just a 5 minute drive away. The town people were incredible friendly and welcoming also. GREAT place to visit!

Perfect Christmas Getaway

Staff at High Country were very responsive to every e-mail and phone call I sent before and during our stay. Each question was promptly answered. The Unit was exactly as described on the website. The unit was clean, the appliances were high end, the ammenties included in the condo were perfect. We loved the location, the hot tub, the BBQ, even the blue tooth speaker! We would have no hesitation renting through High Country again and would definitely recommend Willow Vistas.

Two unique properties on the ski hill in Kimberley. During the winter, a true ski in - ski out property with no driving to and from the hill. During the summer, there are five golf courses within a 20 minute drive. There is a seasonal swimming pool at both complexes, outdoor hot tub at both complexes. There are also many activities to enjoy in the area such as mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking.
