Our apartment house in Paznaun/Ischgl combines contemporary architecture and the highest comfort apartment. Each area of our modern house is flooded with natural light. Ranging from the large glass fronts in the dining area of the apartments, from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Tyrolean mountains in Paznaun/Ischgl, to add the kitchens are all facing south and additionally featured with balcony or terrace. The bright and friendly lobby is impressive with accents of pine, leaves already on arrival a welcoming atmosphere arise. They include a Internet station, a Nespresso bar, and a lounge incl. Library with some books and a small selection of games for funny social evenings. With the elevator you take your luggage ease in your beautiful apartment with mountain view. Ski equipment, mountain bikes, hiking boots and hiking poles can be stow conveniently in our walk-in ski and boot room with lockable cabinets. The apartment has a lockable cupboard is assigned and also has a boot dryer with space for 4-10 pairs of shoes. In the sauna and relaxation area with kneippism you can relax on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday evening. We offer apartments for 2-3 persons, 3-5 persons, 4-6 persons, 6-8 persons and 8-10 persons.

Reviewed By Egholm1968This winter we went back again to Kappl, skiing and Ferienwohnen Mattle. We tried an apartment (#202) with one room an an extra bed in the kitchen for our daughter. Everything was nice, clean and in very good order, hotel lift right outside the door. We prefer a bigger apartment next time, with 2 rooms, however it was us deciding to try this room, and it wasn't bad at all ;) Sarah always helpful and smiling. Hope to come back..... Street is narrow, and can be difficult to load or onload car, because other guests leave their car there, instead of using the free parking garage only 500m away. We always use the garage, so the car is without snow and not to cold....

Reviewed By Felipe RVery nice hotel, calm and clean. The service was very special, something you dont find very often in europe. The breakfast was good, the rooms clean an the sauna the best for after skiing. Very recommended.

Insufficient for a 5-Star Hotel
Reviewed By luzinitVery stylish hotel with nice spa and pool area. Staff is very friendly and welcoming but lack of structure. Rooms are nice and well isolated but automated ventilation is missing if you open the windows you will hear the traffic from the main road. We couldn’t sleep without earplugs. Breakfast with great selection but don’t book half board the 5 course menu is a disaster! Rather go and have a steak there or enjoy the great selection of Ischgl’s restaurants by using the shuttle service. Unfortunately they don’t have a ski room for your equipment only if you book with them. We found that distracting as you have to take the wet gear in your room. To us it seemed that the whole hotel lacked some management structure. When selecting 5-star you expect the perfect spot.

Reviewed By Culture477244Hotel Dorfstadl was amazing! The wellness center alone with relaxation area, awesome stainless steel pool, 3 fantastic saunas. I only used the 3rd floor pool/saunas but my wife had a scrub and peel service at the downstairs spa and loved it! We didn't hear of any other Hotels with a pool and it took our trip to another level. The absolute perfect end to our awesome days of skiing. The Relax suite was beautiful with lots of natural wood, a great shower, and nice views of the gondola. The entire hotel was incredibly clean, to the point that my wife kept asking how they kept it so clean. Great kitchen with dining area that easily seats 6. So great. The breakfast, included with our booking, was also glorious! Endless jams, cheeses, fresh baked pastries, croissants, OJ, mimosas, eggs, bacon, coffee beverages, and more. A truly high-quality experience that beats any "continental" breakfast we've had anywhere else. Location was also perfect. Minutes walk to "downtown" Kappl, although literally everything is in walking distance. You can nearly ski up to the front door at the end of your ski day by taking trail 4 and can hop the trail to get down to the gondola to start your day with an easy 100ft walk. More than anything else, the hospitality was on a supreme level which made for a truly relaxing time from start to finish. Everyone was so kind and caring and legitimately concerned about our stay. We wouldn't consider another Hotel when traveling in the area.

A delightful experience
Reviewed By P1973CXtomasbMy wife and I stayed with half board for two weeks in January 2022. We didn't know what to expect, but were positively surprised. We had comfortable Comfort double room where my wife, who worked remotely, had a nice desk while I enjoyed taking the free shuttle bus to Ischgl to ski. The chef offered a variety of five course dinners, for two weeks. Guess we added some kilos, but it was definitely worth it! All staff and owners extremely nice and helpful. All facilities and building are top notch, we were not lacking anything! Kappl is a small Tyrolian village and the hotel is right in the centre, where you also find a cafe, pharmacy, doctor, an Intersport and grocery store nearby. We have nothing but praise to give and will, as you might guess, come back!

Great hotel with even greater food
Reviewed By WorldwidedutchSimply great hotel for everyone (young, old, families, partners and friends)! - Very friendly owners and staff doing their utmost to make your stay as comfortable as possible - We were impressed by the food, the quality of the menu, the taste, and how it was served. More than enough choice in both breakfast and dinner (for the main course one can choose between a fish, meat and vegetarian option everyday - really varied). While the hotel appeared fully booked, we hardly saw any empty plates at the appetizer section and the main course was served 'at a nice speed' (we were even asked if we were ready). Look and feel of the restaurant in real Tiroler style - Clean and neat rooms, nice and large bed, steady hot water from the shower - The ski shuttle was great. First option to Ischgl at 8:15, last 9:45, back the first at 16:00 and last at 17:45. So, one could drink a beer after skiing and then hop into the shuttle. When you wanted to stay longer, there were ample options for a taxi back (around €20-25), which made the hotel also doable for people wanting to have a 'proper après-ski'.

Really convenient shuttle service to Ischgl
Reviewed By KC_in_NYWanted to go skiing at Ischgl and booked here at the last minute because all the hotels in Ischgl were almost 500 Euros/night. While this place was only slightly cheaper, it turned out to be a great deal. The shuttle service stopped right in front and the ski room is in the basement, which saved a lot of trouble. The staff was very friendly and even though our room was on the street side, it was a great room. Loved the shower and the amenities. The restaurant was convenient and enjoyed the pizza here. I was surprised on the assigned tables for breakfast and the tea hour had some great food. The sauna was great and my buddy relaxed out there for a while. If you want to hang out in Ischgl, we went on the shuttle, but had to take a cab back, which was 25 Euros. Felt that was a little steep, but can't complain considering all that we got out of this place. If you like motorcycles, you'll love the displays they have throughout the hotel. Kappl ski is right next door, which we skiied the next day for a few hours. It's totally worth it. I was pleasantly surprised and felt this would be a good mountain to bring my family and beginner skiiers.

Very good hotel
Reviewed By holidayfanBelgiumMy husband and I stayed at this hotel in March. We chose this particular hotel because of the location. The hotel is just outside Ischgl (just a short car or bus ride) and the ski bus stops outside the hotel which is handy if you don't want the bother of driving into Ischgl and then searching for a parking space. We knew that the hotel was neither near the centre of Ischgl nor Kappl but for us this is an advantage as we don't enjoy being woken up by loud and drunken après skiers which is often the case in Ischgl. Also being on the main road there are more ski busses passing than you find in the centre of Kappl. We asked for a room at the side of the hotel as we had heard that those at the front had the disadvantage of road noise. Whilst the hotel is on the main road from kappl to Ischgl, and we sleep with the windows open; Neither of us noticed much traffic noise. The beds were very comfortable and the room we had was lovely (can't remember the room number unfortunately). The food in the hotel restaurant was very good and the service friendly. The wellness centre was lovely. The hotel owner was also very friendly and helpful. On arrival we had been given a roo. In the apart hotel which we had not booked and which I was not happy to stay in. I complained and was we were moved to an extra large room in the main hotel the next morning. We had a lovely holiday at this hotel and would definitely return.
