I decided to book direct since I had the flexibility to walk into town on my drive from Rovinj, Croatia back to Ljubljana, so I walked in the front door only to be greeted by the sweetest person on Earth, Breda, who speaks perfect English and many other languages. If you book direct they have more flexibility to accommodate special requests. She easily made my decision to stay that night and an extra night very easy. You absolutely MUST see this town lit up for Christmas and Hotel Marina is perfectly located to take a stroll to the right and see the stunning mountains and in the evening a stroll to the left to see the center lit up like a Winter Wonderland (truly). The children were ice skating and Christmas music playing. With such a rushed agenda to see “the Balkans” in 3 weeks this was a perfect relaxing gorgeous surprise of a stop over on the way back. I wish I could stay longer. Thank you Hotel Marina. Highly recommend.

Excellent choice for travelers
Reviewed By GMDesertHotel Keltika in Izola is a sensible choice for a short stay in the seaside area of Slovenia. It is not in the crowded cities of Koper or Piran but you can easily drive to both. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood. It is about 15 minutes walk from the yact harbor, seaside front and downtown areas. The room are very simple with all the basic amenities. Super clean! Be aware that by American standards, the room and bath are very small, the shower stall is cruise ship size. Despite this, it is an excellent value. Breakfast is included with the stay with plenty of food and options.

You have a check in a a different hotel which is 1 minute away from that one and restaurant 150 meteres away. The breakfast is so good!! Also the hotel is very clean! The staff is very friendly, especially Davor at the check in! Highly recomended!

Reviewed By managersposatoNuovissimo hotel boutique, con solo 10 camere, situato in posizione strategica per coloro che volessero visitare la zona (a circa 20 minuti da Trieste e poco più di un'ora da Lubiana, Rovigno, ecc. ecc.). Le stanze non sono grandissime ma di dimensioni ampiamente sufficienti, arredate con gusto ed eleganza. Tutti gli ambienti sono arredati molto bene e la pulizia è ottimale. La colazione viene servita nell'annesso "aperitivo bar", locale molto elegante e ben frequentato soprattutto di sera; piacevole anche il giardinetto antistante l'hotel dove abbiamo trascorso diversi momenti rilassanti usufruendo dell'ottimo servizio bar. Il personale è estremamente disponibile, cortese e simpatico; soprattutto sempre sorridente. Un luogo dove tornarci senza alcun dubbio.

Il nostro appartamento era piuttosto grande, con anche il bollitore per il thè e il caffè. Pure il bagno era tutto nuovo e pulito. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile, parlante lingua italiana! Consigliato sicuramente!

Reviewed By asterix_x1Hatten das obere Apartment über 2 Etagen mit Meerblick. Sehr schön und modern eingerichtet. Apartment hat eine Klimaanlage und zusätzlich noch einen Deckenventilator, was bei heißem Wetter sehr angenehm ist,. Bis zum Strand sind es ca 150 m und ca 200 m bis zu einem kleinen Einkaufsladen. Apartement liegt mitten in der Altstadt unterhalb einer Kirche., was sehr idyllisch ist. Leider kann man sein Auto nicht direkt in der Nähe parken, aber es gibt einen öffentlichen Parkplatz ca 400 - 500m entfernt, bei dem man für 8€ ein 24 Std Ticket lösen kann

So bad, that I'm writing a review while I'm still at the hotel
Reviewed By Nika CBefore we checked in, I called the hotel three times to check about parking, but no response. We checked in to the hotel yesterday and were greeted by two rude and arrogant staff members at the reception. Finding key information is like a scavenger hunt. The phone number of the reception remains a secret. Next, the building of the hotel Mirta has an awful smell, as the carpets were cleaned and, I assume, not dried properly. This morning's breakfast was acceptable enough, but undrinkable coffee in 2020 is unforgivable. Parking is free for guests, but not guaranteed (??). The only good thing about the resort is the beach, which seems to be public and not connected to the hotel anyway.

Reviewed By Exploring_SLO_EUVilla Palma 3* is really nice. Rooms are renovated and those that have a sea view are amazing. Restaurant Kamin has some tasty food to try and the breakfest was good too. The price is exceptable but a bit expensive in the summer time.
