A very good hotel but a noise problem
Reviewed By johnbGilberdykeWe arrived very early at the hotel but our room was provided for us very quickly. The room was very good with everything spotless. An underground garage was available for our motorcycle free of charge. There is a large indoor swimming pool and a garden with an outdoor pond and loungers. The half board menue was very good with a starter buffet, soup a salad buffet a good main course and sweet. Breakfast was buffet style and freshly cooked eggs were available. The only problem we found was that our room overlooked the road and some traffic noise was noticed. The hotel is next to a large church and the clock bells started at 6:00 am in the morning.

A hotel with a long tradition. The Eggerbräu Hotel has been welcoming guests for over 150 years. Once a large inn and famous brewery belonging to Michael Egger it is now owned by the third generation of the Krismer-Gruber family. It has become a rather charming and friendly hotel; it has developed in such a way that everyone feels at home here at any time of year. 62 comfortable rooms with bath/shower/WC, 3 apartments, hotel bar, restaurant, function rooms and conference facilities, TV lounge, lifts.
Excellent customer service
Reviewed By dulan pHad an amazing stay. The hotel is very clean and the food is amazing. Beer is probably the best I’ve had. Service was second to none. After returning back to the UK I realised that I forgotten my headphones. I wrote them an email asking if they could post the headphones. Which they did. I am ever so grateful. Can’t wait to come and visit again.

We had gone up to this level via ski lift even though we are not skiers, we just wanted to see the fab scenery after the recent heavy snow. We decided to have lunch as it was such a beautiful clear and sunny afternoon. The place was very busy being a Sunday with lots of families enjoying lunch or drinks after a busy morning on the slopes. We chose to sit outside and a waiter was soon bringing us the menu. We both chose Wiener schnitzel and fries......our meals came out very promptly and were hot and tasty. We both enjoyed our meals and drinks and the service was great with the waiter coming to check if all was OK with the food and then coming back later to see if we wanted more drinks or dessert. It is a great place to sit and watch the skiers, snowboarders and toboggan run. We will definitely be back next time we are in the Imst area.

Friendly, Simple, Traditional Austrian Hotel
Reviewed By Darren SWe stayed at Alpenotel Linserhof for one night of a 10-day driving tour from the UK around Europe. It’s a pretty, traditional hotel in a tranquil location with great views across fields. Staff are friendly, enthusiastic and welcoming. Our room was large but quite basic, although not unreasonably so considering the low cost. The bathroom was also large with a good amount of worktop space but the toilet was separate; not ideal. The towels were also small and thin; I’d suggest bringing your own if staying here for any period of time. We enjoyed breakfast, this was excellent for the price point of the hotel. There is no lift or air-conditioning, not that we needed or were really expecting either. There is extensive parking and a small indoor pool too. Although not blown away, this hotel suited our purposes well as a moderately priced one-night stop-off on route to Germany. It’s clean, friendly and good value. If that’s what you are looking for and the location works for you, take a look.

Great Weekend in Austria

Found an alpine coaster (once the world's longest I think) in Imst, Austria that looked interesting. I emailed the Winkler on Friday and they responded quickly. The Winkler was everything that I had imagined. Our 2 bedroom apartment was clean, comfortable and close to all things hoch Imst. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The onsite restaurant with outdoor patio served basic, satisfying and filling food. The Alpine Coaster, which is right across the street, was a blast. The Winkler and Imst is a great destination if you want to get a way for a while and enjoy the outdoors and just hang with your family. Nothing fancy but great Austrian hospitality and scenery.

Reviewed By aaarlenMore than 1000 meters above sea level is a perfect place to relax. There is no noise, neither in the shelter nor outside. The room is clean and comfortable. It is very good to sit on the balcony and admire the scenery. The young staff is kind and helpful. Maybe there are a few, because the service is a bit slow. The restaurant is great, very delicious and plentiful with all dishes. A small problem: the wifi system should be improved- Sometimes there was a signal in the room, but rather there was no wifi at all. It was nice to sleep here, comfortable, clean, in a great place, very good air, perfect silence.
