Concerns about hygiene during Covid-19 crisis
Reviewed By BeauselectWe arrived at midnight for just one night because we were travelling through. I read so many reviews and each one mentioned the hygiene was great. Even the negative reviews. We booked a panorama room with sofa bed and a double bed. It was a great room. All thanks to Abid who takes care of the hotel guests during the night. We had a GREAT time at the swimming and recreation area (even though one staff member at the pool gave us a hard time - didn’t spoil our spirits) but unfortunately we had to checkout by midday. We were running slightly late (12:15), funny enough the hotel manager sent someone to knock on our door to see if we were checking out or not. We assured the staff member we were on our way. As we were checking the closets and under the beds if we forgot anything, we were shocked to see a very horrible and unhygienic condition under the sofa bed and double bed. It’s probably never been vacuumed or cleaned and that’s very worrying during the COVID-19 crisis. We asked to speak to the hotel manager, so-called TAMARA - not even sure that was her name because she refused to see or even speak to us. Shows how negligent and rude she is to hotel guests. For that reason we want to post this unhygienic matter and make everyone be aware to check under their beds or sofas at the Vital Hotel Frankfurt.

Good rooms but mediocre staff
Reviewed By mergelgMy family and I have stayed at this hotel for many times, but the staff friendliness here is most of the time disappointing. Rooms are clean here, but for a few times during our stays, the housekeeping staff was unfriendly. And I even had an experience of losing something in the room before checkout. The cleaning staff did not hand over my staff to receptionist. This time, I am happy to see friendly housecleaning staff during our stay. But the receptionists are still mediocre. For a few times, we were offered to checknout without extra charge for chechbout at 13:00. But this time, I was asked to pay 10€ for checking out at 13:00. That was an unfriendly gesture. Not to mention that the computer system did not seem to record my need for rooms when I checked in. It took a while for receptionist to hand over the keys to us at check-in. I do hope to see improvements in staff friendliness here.

Nice place for a night or two
Reviewed By monicapL2371QGWas pleasantly surprised with my recent stay. The room was nice, very clean, as well as the bathroom. The bed was comfortable, Sky tv, and a nice selection for breakfast. Parking could be better, but the situation was resolved, so that I could park my (rather long) car without worry. Will stay here again, when in the area.

Reviewed By Anthony RThe room was clean neat. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. It’s on the edge of the forest but also only a 10 minute walk to town. The train station which takes you directly to Frankfurt is a 15 minute walk from the hotel.

Para cenar hay pocas opciones... el Rest de abajo... que es creo tailandés o algo asi... que no es lo mejor del mundo y hay otro rest Italiano a unos 400mt... de ahi no hay nada cerca... Hay un Lidl a 400mt también que es de gran ayuda. Parking gratuito en frente del hotel sin problema alguno,... Si tengo que volver a la zona, me vuelvo a quedar aqui.

Excellent hotel in a quaint small-town setting!
Reviewed By Globetrotting_CanukThis hotel is located in a quaint little town in the country. Our room had the canopy bed and bathroom with the double sinks and my wife was so pleased! It was like a honey-moon suite! It is very spacious and was very clean and well maintained. Carrying luggage up one flight of stairs was not a problem. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast was excellent with a good variety of food. We could not have been happier! The only down side to this hotel is that it is in the country and if you don't have a vehicle, there is no train service. A taxi to Frankfurt main airport is about €34 each way. The hotel was very helpful, though, in ordering a taxi for us.

New NAME: Hotel Agat
Reviewed By sumukhaThis Hotel is all new renovated and since a few month (February 2014) under new management. The rooms are very clean and nice. On the east side you get a brilliant few to the "Taunus". The location is close to A3 and A66. In 2 km distance is a furniture place called IKEA.
