Reviewed By Paul RThis was a very nostalgic trip for my wife who I accompanied as she stayed at this hotel while her parents were in the forces in the late 60's early 70's. The Hotel did not disappoint and the staff were wonderful . Especially the son of the owner who was there 40 years ago when my wife as then was Lynette Godliman met just before we left.

Reviewed By Lucy AClose to motorway this is a good place to stop for a clean, comfortable room , friendly staff and good breakfast. There is no restaurant . Parking available on site. Rooms at back might be quieter but front ones are not badly noisy.

Bed bugs - terrible accomodation-dont get in
Reviewed By esart71It was a terrible accommodation in this hotel for 5 nights with no sleep I was in the 2nd floor and from the first night I had a bed bugs attack on my body ,im asking the reception to change the room they changed to me with the same problem . What a shame to stay in a good hotel with high price with this type of problem an in 21 century, bad cleaning I visited a doctor and made medical check with a list of drugs that I'm still use it until now I asked the hotel to turn me my payments with no any action even an apologise. I have all the photos for this accident please be careful .

Reviewed By Alexandru CThe single rooms are small but clean and the beds even small are comfortable! They have also rooms for smokers and if you get one of them it’s a bed smell inside. The staff is nice, but can be friendlier.

Reviewed By S4879OLneildHad to attend a family funeral in Herford. When I first booked over the phone, it was for 2 doubles and a twin. No problem. Had to change that to 3 doubles and a single. Again, no problem. Then another change to 4 doubles. No issues at all. Very accommodating. Staff were very pleasant, couldn’t do enough for us. Hotel is only a 5 minute drive into Herford. Lovely location; gardens, play area for the kids. The rooms were clean and tidy and spacious. Beds were surprisingly comfy. At first I thought it was quite hard but I slept really well. I would definitely recommend this hotel, 100%. Nearly forgot the breakfast! I was very impressed with the breakfast buffet. Lush!!

Very practical !
Reviewed By TTTT TVery convenient place located not far from the highway. We slept only one night and though the owners do not speak a lot English, they were very helpful and nice. They accomodated our late arrival without any problem. The room is perfectly clean, we found everything we needed. The kitchen is also very useful for trips and gives you more autonomy.

Reviewed By 426cuiEnough parking space in front of the Hotel, close to the Motorway, not far away from downtown. The rooms are worn, carpet is dirty, length of the bed only 190 cm, the bathroom has a strange smell (mold?). I claimed the issues at the reception, but the lady wasn’t interested. We will re-design the rooms shortly, but it doesn’t help me. The breakfast room is very old, not convenient.

Ruhiges Hotel in Herford in grüner Lage
Reviewed By do1976Ich war beruflich in Herford und bin im Hotel Vivendi Gast gewesen. Das Zimmer war ausreichend geräumig, das Bad neu. Das Zimmer lag zum Garten, das Hotel liegt in ruhiger Lage. Gefrühstückt habe ich nicht im Hotel, auch das Restaurant habe ich nicht genutzt. Am Hotel stehen ausreichend Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Ich würde wiederkommen.

Gut, aber extremst hellhörig
Reviewed By cybertom22An sich ein gutes Konzept. Nahe am Bahnhof gelegen, super freundlicher Checkin, sauber, modern, große Zimmer. Schön (wenn auch wegen Regen nicht nutzbar...) war auch die riesige Dachterasse, auf der es vor allem im Sommer sicher ziemlich nett ist. Die Zimmer sind modern und bunt eingerichtet, im Übrigen der Hotelklassifizierung entpsrechend (keine Minibar, usw.) und leider deutlich zu wenig Duschgel. Weitere Services (Frühstück usw.) konnten coronabedingt nicht getestet werden. Es ist aber ein eCenter zur Verpflegung direkt gegenüber. Großer Nachteil: Das Hotel ist wahnsinnig hellhörig gebaut. Wenn Personen im Hotel oder Gang unterwegs waren war das so, als stünden sie direkt im Zimmer. Die Lautstärke geht echt überhaupt nicht. Wie es bei geschlossener Zimmertür so laut sein kann, verstehe ich nicht. Muss ein Architektenfehler sein. Möchte gar nicht wissen wie laut es ist, wenn das Hotel belebt ist.
